Long ago, the Supreme Court ruled that politicians – from local City Council Members to the President of the United States – can lie about anything and it is up to the people to decide what is true or false. Lately, however, the lies told by the Main Stream Media have become outrageous. Should their lies be allowed, as well? Or should journalists be held accountable for their mistruths?

Robert Knight is a Senior Fellow for the American Civil Rights Union – NOT to be confused with the ACLU. Robert is also a media expert and he is here today to set the record straight on several outlandish stories the MSM has reported on. First, he talks about Ty Cobb, who died in 1961. A book published about the famous ball player said horrible things about him, yet they all turned out to be blatantly false!

Robert also discusses the lies which the MSM spreads about voter ID laws suppressing the minority vote. Again – False! Another lie that spread like wildfire is the Black Lives Matter movement “Hands up – Don’t Shoot!” debacle. It’s been proven that the young black man, Michael Brown, who was shot by white cop, Darren Wilson, did NOT raise his hands in surrender, yet the MSM said he did, so it must be true, right? NO!

The Tea Party is yet another perfect example of a group receiving interest from the MSM, but this attention is negative and hateful. Robert Knight says, “They [the MSM] have completely mischaracterized them and Democratic leaders have, as well. It turns out, the Tea Party Rallies were among the most peaceful demonstrations in American history!”

Robert also recently wrote about the “Equal Pay Act”. The MSM loves to claim that women make a considerable amount less than their male counterparts for the same job. Well, the research speaks for itself. Listen in as Robert discusses this, Planned Parenthood, and the importance of fact-checking information we see on social media. “We all have a responsibility to convey information that is truthful,” he says. “The devil is the father of lies and we don’t want to promote the devil’s kingdom instead of the Lord’s Kingdom.”

The government is always claiming that a “crisis is among us” or a “crisis is near”. Is this doom and gloom talk just for show? Or are they like the little boy who cried wolf, and no one will believe them when the bad stuff is really at our door? Robert states, “I believe there is an ongoing conspiracy between the press and liberal policy makers to constantly trumpet crises that always lead to the conclusion that we need more government!...It’s a false sense of reality.”

What if Americans had an organized plan to move illegally to Mexico by the millions over the next 10 years, get jobs – or free stuff because we don’t want to work – and then we demanded the right to vote? It. Would. Not. Happen. First, we would all be deported or put in a Mexican jail before we could say “Hola”. Second, even if we were able to somehow dupe the system and stay for a while, the second we wanted to vote, they’d laugh in our faces – and deport us or put us in jail!

So why not in America? Because the left wants more votes. Period. There is no other reason. Illegals do not contribute to society. They do not pay taxes. Many are on food stamps, housing assistance, and Medicaid or Medicare. All while being illegal. And now Democrats want to give them an all-access pass to voting booth.

Robert Knight, with The American Civil Rights Union, discusses the following issues: 1) Voter ID Laws (which 80% of the American people are in favor of), 2) voter information in multiple languages (as opposed to just English), 3) registering non-citizens (it’s up to each individual state, by the way), 4) long vs short primary elections, 5) ballots by mail, 6) Hillary Clinton’s absurd wishes, and 7) voter fraud.

FACT: Mexico has strict voter ID laws, meaning you cannot vote without being a citizen AND you must prove that you are a citizen by providing your legally issued government ID. And Hillary Clinton doesn’t approve of that in America….

The American Civil Liberties Union (NOT the ACRU, whom our guest is with) is trying once again to silence Christians. It seems we hear stories everyday how Christians are being told to stop praying, stop preaching, or stop forcing their beliefs on others. In 1948 George Orwell, the author of the well-known book 1984, looked into the future and described what is happening today.

Robert Knight with the American Civil RIGHTS Union (NOT the left-leaning ACLU) explains that, although George Orwell considered himself a Socialist, he didn’t like what he was seeing. If you haven’t read 1984, Robert discusses the book and why it is so pertinent to the events unfolding before eyes. The ACLU, for example, “seems to have a blind spot for every other religion, but in terms of Christianity they’re working overtime. They are enforcing official atheism.”

Children are not being taught the real history of the United States and the sacrifices the Founding Fathers and so many others made to ensure that we would have the freedoms we take for granted today. It’s sad, really, to think about how twisted our public school system has become. “By the time they get to college, children believe that if America didn’t exist, the world would be better off,” Robert Knight declares.

Listen in as Robert describes two recent instances where Christians have been, once again, persecuted against in the public square. It’s happening to churches, too. The ACLU wants to remove the tax-exempt status from churches that refuse to perform same-sex marriages. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Well, folks, we need to stop the insanity. We need to stop sending the same people to Washington over and over again, hoping they will finally vote the “right” way when they clearly have not been and have no intention to start any time soon.

Robert Knight first discusses why consumers are not spending more money when experts had predicted lower gas prices would spur a boost in the economy. It’s Obamacare and unemployment. People are paying more money now than they ever have for their health insurance premiums through Obamacare. People are also being more cautious with their money.

But will this make a difference at the polls? Will more Americans vote who don’t usually bother sticking their noses in political matters? Robert Knight is hopeful that more Americans will stand up to big government – and even the RINO’s – and say “Enough!” It is time to take back our country!

As for those so-called “establishment politicians”, Robert has this to say: “When they feel the heat, they see the light.” Let’s make them all feel the heat!

The negativity against prayer and guns from the left, including the media, really caught the attention of Christians and those on the right when the Democrat Party overwhelmingly voted to remove the word “God” from their platform three years ago. However, they have really stepped up their game against prayer and guns in recent months, specifically since the December 2 San Bernardino mass shooting.

Robert Knight, with the American Civil Rights Union, says, “Liberals never cease to use crises like these to their advantage. They use them to push forward their proposals, whether they make sense or not.” Robert feels the same way about the left’s desire to take away our guns as he does about men in women’s restrooms. “They accuse us of harboring hatred and bigotry,” he says. “But this couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Recently, Robert Knight attended the World Congress of Families IX (WCF9) in Salt Lake City with 200 speakers and over 3,300 attendees from more than 50 countries. Robert said it felt like a rock concert for pro-life, pro-family American citizens. It was amazing! He was so encouraged to see so many people stand in faith for family values.

However, if you listen to the MSM and the progressive elites, they insist that the mom-dad family is no longer necessary and can replaced by whatever adults want to do to gratify themselves. Robert Knight doesn’t believe this is true. “The natural family is not dead,” he says. The left is just lying, like they always do, saying it is creating more diversity. “In reality, they leave a trail of victims behind,” Robert says. Listen in as he discusses the breakdown of the family, according to the left, and how it only hurts women and children.

Rafael Cruz, father of Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz, gave an outstanding speech at t the WCF9 convention urging civil disobedience in regards to the Supreme Court decision in June allowing homosexual marriage across the nation. But what about Sanctuary Cities? How can we justify allowing illegal aliens access to our country’s money and healthcare when a county clerk is ostracized for refusing to issue a marriage license to a gay couple? The same goes for transgender youth and men who wish to use whatever restroom/locker room/shower on a particular day. Robert says, “It’s totally hypocritical. It’s our way or the highway.” Our Founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves.

Out of the 293 countries that belong to the UN, only 20 have changed the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples. Sitting in the Birmingham jail, Martin Luther King Jr. wrote that critics found his activism, which included civil disobedience, "unwise and untimely." He responded, "One may well ask, 'How can you advocate breaking some laws and obeying others?' The answer is found in the fact that there are two types of laws: There are just laws, and there are unjust laws. I would agree with St. Augustine: 'An unjust law is no law at all’.”

Robert Knight is a Senior Fellow with the American Civil Rights Union  and frequently writes for the Washington Times. He believes that, despite all our problems, America is still the best country in the world.

Lady Justice is supposed to be blind and impartial. When we fail to be impartial, Robert says: “We lose respect for the law. We lose the rule of law. People will feel free to break the law.” We hear stories quite frequently which make our blood boil because some celebrity or politician breaks the law, yet they get a slap on the wrist or no punishment at all!

Sanctuary Cities. These are places where illegal immigrants can live freely, without fear of arrest, persecution, or deportation. WHY NOT??? They are breaking the law! When an illegal immigrant does in fact commit a crime, such as a robbery, they get deported – only to come back across the border unchecked to commit an even worse crime like rape or murder! We must put an end to the cycle.

Robert Knight also discusses the blatant double-standard in the law in regards to same-sex marriage. Did you know there is a lesbian Judge in Texas who refuses to marry heterosexual couples? Why isn’t she in jail?

Regardless of race, sex, or religion, should all laws apply to all citizens? After all, that’s why we have laws – to keep order and peace in our communities. Christians have been accused of “breaking the law” quite frequently in regards to homosexual marriage. How are we to respond? Should we be a Kim Davis and refuse to compromise? Or should we just “do our jobs”?

Muslim bakers can refuse to make a cake for a homosexual couple. Muslim photographers can refuse to take their wedding pictures. Will they one day be forced to accommodate homosexuals in the same manner which Christians are? Will Muslim mosques be required to allow homosexuals to marry within their walls if Christian churches are?

Robert Knight says, “Anything who believes in the Judeo Christian worldview are the ones who will have to change.” Liberals welcome Muslims with open arms in the name of tolerance. They mistakenly believe that they won’t behave like that here! What is it going to take to open the eyes of the left to their atrocities? Let’s pray it’s not something drastic!

What if Americans had an organized plan to move illegally to Mexico by the millions over the next 10 years, get jobs – or free stuff because we don’t want to work – and then we demanded the right to vote? It. Would. Not. Happen. First, we would all be deported or put in a Mexican jail before we could say “Hola”. Second, even if we were able to somehow dupe the system and stay for a while, the second we wanted to vote, they’d laugh in our faces – and deport us or put us in jail!

So why not in America? Because the left wants more votes. Period. There is no other reason. Illegals do not contribute to society. They do not pay taxes. Many are on food stamps, housing assistance, and Medicaid or Medicare. All while being illegal. And now Democrats want to give them an all-access pass to voting booth.

Robert Knight, with The American Civil Rights Union, discusses the following issues: 1) Voter ID Laws (which 80% of the American people are in favor of), 2) voter information in multiple languages (as opposed to just English), 3) registering non-citizens (it’s up to each individual state, by the way), 4) long vs short primary elections, 5) ballots by mail, 6) Hillary Clinton’s absurd wishes, and 7) voter fraud.

FACT: Mexico has strict voter ID laws, meaning you cannot vote without being a citizen AND you must prove that you are a citizen by providing your legally issued government ID. And Hillary Clinton doesn’t approve of that in America….

Police in Martinville, Louisiana, urged its citizens not to play loud, vulgar rap music during the annual Mardi Gras parade. First of all, it’s just common sense. There are children who attend the parade, so the police just wanted it to be family-friendly.

Then the ACLU steps in, accusing the police of racial profiling! The ACLU claimed, "There is no legal standard for what's vulgar so nobody could possibly understand what that would mean." They said a person could wave hello or call out someone’s name, and the police could deem those acts “vulgar”. Come on, ACLU! This is stretching it – even for you!

Robert Knight is a big defender of freedom of speech, but the ACLU has twisted the idea around that pretty much anything is allowed to be said or done over the airwaves of TV and radio. The ACLU is not a friend of Christians.

This process is the origin of plunder… When they can, they wish to live and prosper at the expense of others…The annals of history bear witness to the truth of it."

You can’t compete with Santa Clause. Free Health Care. Free cell phones. Free food. Free house payments. Thankfully it appears that free community college hit a brick wall. But, free everything else. But you just can’t compete with Santa Clause.

Robert Knight, with the American Civil Rights Union, says Obama makes the Clintons look like Barry Goldwater. Thankfully, Bill Clinton was held in check by a Republican Congress. But Obama can’t be stopped. He is weakening our country every time he opens his mouth.

Robert Knight says Federal Judges are ignoring common sense when it comes to making decisions about gay marriage. He points out that they are “basically saying that marriage was created to annoy homosexuals”. The MSM has spread the lies and now the Judges have bought into them.

Anyone who speaks out against the gay movement is called a bigot, racist, homophobic Nazi – or worse. One of the Judges now speaking out against traditional marriage is Circuit Judge Richard Posner, who has characterized laws that recognize natural marriage as products of "hate" and "savage" discrimination. Robert Knight says this is just crazy – even insane! They are so disillusioned that they will say just about anything now to be “politically correct”.

Now, what about this Historian Carol Anderson? If you haven’t heard, she is claiming the riots in Ferguson were in retaliation of “white rage against black progress”. That is one of the most absurd things I have ever heard, and I’ve heard some whoppers!

Carol Anderson also claims that voter ID laws are racist because 25% of black people don’t have a government issued ID. Where does she get her data??? I am just so confused by this I don’t even know what to say…There hasn’t been progress in the black community in decades because of government handouts, high abortion rates, fatherless children, and the outright lack of a can-do attitude. --- I’m not sure this ok to say or not.

The history of wealth creation and sustained freedom in America is the history of capitalism and the underlying values that support it. Through risk, imagination and hard work, entrepreneurs have brought the highest standard of living in history for the largest number of people.
Communism, which is socialism with a Kalashnikov rifle and garroting wire, creates poverty and architecture that looks like East German post offices: gray, dull and uninspiring.

Despite boatloads of evidence that communism, socialism and liberalism do not work and spread only misery and poverty, our ruling class still believes in government to provide all human wants.

Will Bunch's  www.CNN.com tirade earlier this week against television host Glenn Beck and David Barton -- the founder and president of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that emphasizes history's "moral, religious and constitutional heritage" -- for allegedly creating "pseudo history" reveals more about Mr. Bunch than it does about what Mr. Beck and Mr. Barton are presenting.

Mr. Bunch seems, above all, to be annoyed that many people are no longer staying on the liberal plantation of secularized American history. He offers little in the way of examples of error, just differences of opinion, such as his own assertion about "the much-debunked idea that America's creation was rooted in Christianity."

May I come to your church, walk the hallway and when I find someone's wife, daughter or son, take them to a private room, and show them the pictures? If you say no, then I ask you, "why allow someone else to show them to your children, even if they have some title stating they are some "Sex-ED Teacher"?" Their title should be sex-ed trainer...
