Title: Progressives: Mom’s Apple Pie is Oppressive
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by John Horvat
with Return to Order www.ReturnToOrder.org

There is nothing more American than mom’s apple pie. Leave it to progressive demagogues, though, to find a way to tear down this cultural icon and turn it into an instrument of oppression.

John Horvat, author of “Return to Order”, discusses the Left’s newest target: Mom’s Apple Pie.

To read more about this topic, click here.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Why do activists say mom’s apple pie is oppressive?br />
Why the apple and not something else? What’s the real target?

Who are these activists? What do they believe? What is their mission?

Does this group have an issue with other cultures – or just American culture, specifically Christian culture?

What is the history of the apple in American history? Where did the apple originate?

Why should we take these people seriously?

What does mom’s apple pie really symbolize?

Title: Political Speak: Let’s Go Fight!
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by Professor John Sparks
with Grove City College (www.gcc.edu)

The House of Representatives has passed a single Article of Impeachment charging President Donald Trump with committing a high crime. They claim that Trump “made statements that encouraged – and foreseeably resulted in – imminent lawless action at the Capitol.” In short, his rally speech amounted to “incitement to engage in the insurrection.”

What did Trump say? Was it really that bad? Professor Dr. John Sparks has details about the speech and the Article of Impeachment. Dr. Sparks is the retired Dean of Arts & Letters at Grove City College and a fellow for the Institute for Faith and Freedom.

Click here for more from the Institute for Faith and Freedom.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What crime did the House of Representatives state in the recent Article of Impeachment of former President Trump?

What was the original purpose for impeachment?

Does the Constitution allow for the impeachment of a former President?

Did the House present any evidence? Did the House present any witnesses?

How has the Supreme Court ruled considering freedom of speech by politicians in the past?

In Dr. Sparks professional opinion, should Donald Trump be impeached?

Why are the Democrats going after Trump so hard?

Why did Chief Justice John Roberts choose to NOT preside over the impeachment hearing?

What happens next?

Title: A&E Cancels Police
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by John Horvat
with Return to Order www.ReturnToOrder.org

A&E recently canceled its hit reality show “Police”.

The Result: Plummeting ratings! Average prime-time viewership is now 498,000 people, a drop of 49%.

John Horvat discusses this new trend of “bending to the Left” and the devastating effects it is having on businesses. John is the author of “Return to Order”.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What was the show “Police” about?

Prior to all the riots, was “Police” viewership up, flat, or down from the prior year?

Who owns the A&E Network?

Did they have a knee-jerk reaction when the cancel-culture and the defund the police movement captivated the MSM?

Was the show “Police” racist?

Has the A&E Network lost viewers, advertisers, and money because of their decision to cancel “Police”?

Title: From Suppression to Coercion
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by Robert Knight
with Robert H Knight (www.RobertHKnight.com)

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – Sun Tzu, an honorific title bestowed upon S?n Wu (544-496 BC), the author of The Art of War, an immensely influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy. Sun Tzu believed in the use of the military sciences to effect outcomes that would result in peace.

Why is this quote relevant to the topic today? Listen in as Robert Knight explains. His article on the topic can be found here.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Is the new tactic from the left to shift from muzzling people to demanding that they say things approved by their cultural commissars?

Has Tom Brady been attacked for his friendship with Donald Trump?

Demi Lovato, a popular singer, was attacked as well. Why? And what was her response?

Robert Knight was a News Editor of the Los Angeles Times during the Reagan Administration. Listen as he explains what that experience was like as a Conservative!

Have Liberal ideals been expected to be a requirement in many places, from campuses to newsrooms?

If we do nothing, the left will continue suppressing free speech, killing babies, and pushing the homosexual agenda. What does Robert Knight suggest we begin doing immediately?

Title: Political Commencement Speeches
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by Dr. Bob DiMuccio
with Center for Vision and Values (www.VisionAndValues.org)

This time of year, we see and hear a lot of news stories concerning graduation. Some are sad but courageous stories.  There are thousands of sappy, wonderful soldiers-coming-to-their-loved-one’s graduation videos on Youtube.   And you can find many graduation speeches by celebrities or famous men and women, like this great one.

This segment about a graduation ceremony will not make you cry tears of joy or cheer for the underdog. It will, however, probably cause some anger, resentment, and head shaking. Dr. Bob DiMuccio discusses a speech given at Dickinson College, an elite liberal arts college in central PA. The speaker, Mark Ruffalo  aka The Hulk, received an award for “global environmental activism”.

Here are some quotes from Mark Ruffalo’s speech, just to give you an idea of what young people tout as plausible and true: “We have climate change, we have a mass sort of imbalanced corporatization, these lead to environmental degradation and also social-justice issues. And they’re all coming to a head.” He also told the students to “act up, be misbehaved (sic), buck the system, and fight for what you believe in.” Everyone knew he was talking about climate change.

Even the person who introduced Mark for his “reward” was visibly exasperated with those who do not wholeheartedly agree with the left’s climate change hysteria. In fact, Sam Rose said, “We need to bring people to our way of thinking by hook or by crook.

The real hero of the day, however, was author and speaker Ian McEwan. He was extremely truthful in his commencement speech. He held nothing back. In stark contrast to Ruffalo and Rose urging the graduates to push for their agenda, McEwan reminded the audience that free speech is vital to the survival of America. Dr. Bob DiMuccio says McEwan’s speech was “a thoughtful, poignant, unabashed, and courageous defense of free speech.”

You can view the great speech by Ian McEwan [here].

Title: Should Teachers in Texas be Allowed to say “Merry Christmas”?
Topic: Political Correctness
Discussed by State Rep. Dwayne Bohac
with State Rep. Dwayne Bohac (www.Bohac.com)

Are teachers being forced to overlook their personal religious beliefs in order to “please” everyone in the school?

Should they be allowed to say “Merry Christmas” or “Christmas Tree” instead of “Happy Holidays” and “Holiday Tree”?

While we’re on the subject, the government should not allow teachers and state workers the day off for a “religious” holiday - they should have to work! I’m not being ridiculous; I’m using “their” logic like they do on “us”.
