Title: The Government is Not Santa Clause
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Robert Knight
with Robert H Knight (www.RobertHKnight.com)
In 1850, faced with
a tide of sentiment toward socialism, French Legislator Frederic Bastiat
confronted the left's claims of government superiority with a timeless critique,
"The Law." In this short book, Bastiat says "Man can live and
satisfy his wants only by ceaseless labor…But it is also true that a man may
live and satisfy his wants by seizing and consuming the products of the labor of
others. This process is the origin of plunder… When they can, they wish to live
and prosper at the expense of others…The annals of history bear witness to the
truth of it."
You can’t compete with Santa Clause. Free Health Care. Free cell phones. Free
food. Free house payments. Thankfully it appears that free community college hit
a brick wall. But, free everything else. But you just can’t compete with Santa
Clause.
Robert Knight, with the American Civil Rights Union, says Obama makes
the Clintons look like Barry Goldwater. Thankfully, Bill Clinton was held in
check by a Republican Congress. But Obama can’t be stopped. He is weakening our
country every time he opens his mouth.
There was a time when the church took care of people’s needs. Families helped
their own. Strangers were given food and clothing, even jobs and a warm place to
sleep. Now, some cities ban people from giving food to the homeless. Women keep
having more and more babies, without marrying the father, in order to live off
food stamps, Medicaid, and free housing. Click [here]
for more on this and other issues.

Title: Picking Winners and Losers
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Patrick Hedger
with American Encore www.AmericanEncore.org
Millions of people will get a shock this year when they process
their taxes. There are 20 new tax increases thanks to Obamacare,
even though Obama and his minions promised that the bill was not a tax revenue
bill. If you recall, those who have not purchased healthcare under Obamacare
will have to pay a fine when they file their taxes.
Another issue concerning Obama is the number of donors who are now turning their
back on him. They now see that Obama is picking winners and losers, specifically
in the oil and gas industry. To say they are disgruntled would be an
understatement. Hopefully this will push some of the middle-of-the-road
Democrats to side with the Republicans in the upcoming 2015 session.
Patrick Hedger is the Policy Director of American Encore, an
organization dedicated to defending freedom, promoting free markets, expanding
economic opportunity, and making the case for the American ideals of liberty and
democracy, both at home and abroad. Learn more at

Title: The Numbers Just Don't Add Up
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Bill Tatro
with Bill Tatro (www.BillTatro.com)
Bill Tatro is an economist, host of the radio talk show, It’s All About The
Money, and the author of the new book, 44th: A Presidential Conspiracy. His goal
is to deliver insightful, timely content for investors and those who have an
interest in political economic structure. You can learn more about Bill at

Providing healthcare to more Americans was the major selling point of Obamacare.
Too many Americans didn’t have healthcare or adequate coverage, so the
government “needed” to step in and provide it to them. But at what cost?
It used to be that you knew your doctor – you really knew him or her. You would
chat about the kids, the weather, sports, church. Now, it’s a two-minute
impersonal conversation and boom! – you’re done. There might have been four or
five cars in the parking lot a few years ago; now there are dozens. What once
was a five-minute wait in the reception room is now 45-minutes to an hour.
Bill says “If you add millions of new patients to a system and don’t increase
the number of doctors and nurses proportionately, how does it work?” Simply put:
It doesn’t. It can’t. The numbers just don’t add up.
Bill also discusses college graduates and their inability to find decent jobs –
especially in the area they studied and graduated in. He says the system is just
broken. These students and their parents are promised a degree with the prospect
of a job straight out of college.
The problem is that there just aren’t any jobs out there for the majority of
degrees students are graduating with. The retiree has a job and wants to retire
but can’t because the cost of living is too high. The college graduate needs the
job but can’t find one. And now we’re adding in millions of “undocumented
workers” to the mix who want a job.
Speaking of illegal immigrants who are now undocumented legal immigrants thanks
to Obama’s Executive Action….How will America survive? Listen in as Bill
explains this one!

Title: Obama’s Jobs Panel Infested by Insiders Bug-ridden with Fleas.
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Tom Borelli
with National Center for Public Policy Research (www.NationalCenter.org)
Crony capitalism is not an economic plan, says Dr. Tom Borelli,
Director of the National Center for Public Policy Research’s Free Enterprise
Project.
General Electric has significant investments in solar panels and wind turbines
and for their CEO Jeff Immelt to recommend more government spending on clean
energy development is rather self-serving to many Washington watchers.
In addition to Immelt, other members of Obama’s jobs panel can profit from its
recommendation on clean energy. This self-dealing is shocking and members of
Congress need to unplug the panel members from their positions.

Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Dr. Mark Hendrickson
with The Institute for Faith and Freedom (www.FaithAndFreedom.com)
Can the government force (make) a business hire someone?
In 1680, the French economy was stagnate, as ours is today. Merchants labored
under the burden of mountains of regulations and an oppressive government.
Anxious to stimulate the economy, Louis XIV’s Finance Minister assembled some
business leaders to inquire what could be done for them.
A plainspoken Frenchman replied: “laissez-nous faire”. Today we say: “Laissez
faire”: leave us alone. Let’s tell Obama, Congress and especially the
E.P.A. “Leave us alone!”

Title: Should Congress Pass Obama’s Jobs Plan
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Richard Mourdock
with Richard Mourdock (www.RichardMourdock.com)
Obama pleaded: “Just
pass the bill – just pass the bill!” Should Congress bow
down before Obama and follow his wishes?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different
result. Richard Mourdock says no to Obama.
Richard Mourdock lists actions that Obama could do from the White House today to
put Americans back to work. But does Obama really want to put Americans to work?
Will Congress work together to put Americans back to work? Mr. Mourdock states
it will take new leadership in WDC to put Americans back to work. Will you help?

After all the pomp
and ceremony, does President Obama’s plan come down to the same old tired scheme
of more spending and more taxes?
Coby Dillard states: “Give credit where it’s due – President Obama is
consistent. He truly believes that increased government spending will bring more
jobs to Americans.”
Albert Einstein once so aptly stated: “Insanity is doing the same thing over

Title: More of the Same With Hopes for Different Results
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Tom Borelli
with National Center for Public Policy Research (www.NationalCenter.org)
The Houston
Chronicle recently opined that Obama’s New Job’s Bill would create 141,500 new
jobs in Texas. Let’s look at the numbers.
1. 64,100 construction jobs…Obama recently remarked that the first round of
shovel-ready jobs was not very shovel ready. These are not permanent full-time
jobs, though.
2. 39,500 teaching positions. Again – these are not permanent full-time
positions.
3. 37,900 opportunities for training at various vo-tech/junior colleges
Does the Chronicle really consider someone who is receiving training as
someone working full-time?
Obamanomics has not worked and pouring more money down the same rat-hole is not
going to put America back to work.

if President Obama doesn’t tone down his rhetoric and cease and desist waging
“Class Warfare”, we may soon see riots in American cities.
Mr. Weber, founder of the Association of Mature American Citizens –

the youth today are NOT learning because there are no jobs for them.

Title: Why No Jobs?
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Pamela Villarreal
with National Center For Policy Analysis wwwncpa.org
Why aren't businesses hiring? Are they really sitting on billions of dollars
that they could be investing in expanding to use to hire new employees?
What’s causing the continuing stagnation of the U.S. Economy? Sen. Phil Gramm
recently opined that we’ve had recessions before but at this point in the
economic cycle we should be roaring back. So what is holding the economy down?
[Hint: Obamanomics!]
The problem in the current economy is that hiring new workers and committing to
new production has become too risky so businesses are simply sitting on their
cash. Will Obama ever figure out what will encourage businesses to stop sitting
on their cash and start investing in new employees and new production?

Title: No Contest: The Reagan Stimulus Compared to the Obama One – Which Wins?
Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Dr. Paul Kengor
with The Institute for Faith and Freedom (www.FaithAndFreedom.com)
On August 13, 1981, President Reagan signed the Economic Recovery Act. Fast
forward to August 2011 and Congress was debating the ‘debt-ceiling crisis’.
Reagan’s initiative was the antithesis of President Obama’s $800-billion
“stimulus” that did not stimulate anything.
After the slow start through 1982-83, the Reagan stimulus effect was
extraordinary, sparking the longest peacetime expansion in U.S. history.
Unfortunately, liberals have so maligned the Reagonomics that they are unable to
separate facts from myths. So, how is “Obamanomics” working for you?

Topic: Obamanomics
Discussed by Dr. Charles Dunn

Dr. Charles Dunn,
author of "The Seven Laws of Presidential Leadership", explains
why President Obama is Jimmy Carter on steroids.
Is this comparison fair: Carter, the engineer, liked to delve into the technical
details of problems, while Obama, the professor, pursues lengthy analysis?
Is this observation correct: Obama is now losing key constituencies, including
the general public, policy-making elites, interest groups, and members of his
own party?
