Title: Has Chick-fil-A Sold Out?
Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by JP Duffy
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
Part 1 of 2
The majority of us have heard by now about Chick-fil-A’s charitable arm cutting off future donations to the Salvation Army.
But did you know that on the same day they stopped those checks, Chick-fil-A sent one to the Covenant House, a group that has hosted a local Drag Queen Story Hour and celebrates LGBTQ pride.
Yes – it’s true!
JP Duffy is the Senior Vice President for Communications at the Family Research Council. Today, JP discusses his first job at
CFA way back in 1997, how that experience changed his life, and what Christians should know about the company going forward.
You can find JP’s article
here.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What did JP learn about life and Christ while a teenager working at CFA?
When did the phrase “My pleasure” become the slogan of CFA?
In JP’s opinion, are the Christian principles and values he gained while working at
CFA gone today? JP discusses more about CFA’s new support of Covenant House.
Will the LGBTQ activists ever be appeased? Will they just keep coming back for more and more and more?
How can CFA now give money to organizations that have inspired so much hate against Christians?

Discussed by JP Duffy

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Are there many businesses in America and around the world that strive to work
within biblical principles?
Is religious freedom the right to live out your faith in every area of life,
including the workplace?
What happened to the Asbestos Brothers for refusing to fall down and worship the
golden image?
How should Christians respond to the attack on our religious freedom?

Title: Dubbed or Deceived by Chick-fil-A?
Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by Dr. Chris Gacek
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
Years ago, a madman opened fire at the Family Research Council
in protest over Chick-fil-A’s pro-marriage, pro-life political stance.
Now, CFA no longer supports the Family Research Council or
many other pro-family, pro-life organizations. What has changed?
Tony Perkins, President of the FRC, recently released this statement
concerning the issue: "Tax reports have now exposed Chick-fil-A for funding
the anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization linked in
federal court to domestic terrorism… It's time for Christians to find a fast
food alternative to Chick-fil-A.” To read more from Tony Perkins, click
here.
Guest Chris Gacek is a Senior Fellow at the Family Research Council. Chris
previously served as a law clerk with the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Chris shares more details about the horrifying story of Floyd Corkins shooting
up the offices at the Family Research Council in Washington, DC…
How hard is it to find a non-profit organization’s IRS form that lists donations
given and received? Who blew the whistle on CFA?
Should CFA customers offer their opinion on this matter to the manager at their
local franchise?
Should CFA customers also ask the manager for a list of that franchise’s
charitable donations and sponsorships?
Is it time for Christians to “just say no” to Chick-fil-A and other
restaurants/stores?

Title: Is Chick-Fil-A Chickening Out?
Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by Robert Knight
with Robert H Knight (www.RobertHKnight.com)
Part 1 of 2
In 2012, Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy stated in an
interview that he believed marriage was created by God as the union of one man
and one woman. LGBTQ groups went ballistic. Now, CFA has stated they will no longer contribute financially to Christian charities like the Salvation Army, the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the Paul Anderson Youth Home in Georgia.
Have they caved to the Left? Or has misinformation been circulating?
Robert Knight has some answers. Click
here for his
Washington Times article on this issue.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Has Chick-fil-A been an oasis for families seeking escape from an ever-colder, cynical world?
Did the Chick-fil-A corporation choose to discontinue funding pro-life/pro-family, non-profit organizations?
Has the Chick-fil-A corporation ever funded pro-abortion and/or LGBTQ non-profit organizations? Listen close to find out how much they’ve given to pro-homosexual groups!!!
Has Chick-Fil-A purposefully made a corporate decision to stop funding pro-life, pro-family non-profit organizations?

Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by Robert Knight
with Robert H Knight (www.RobertHKnight.com)
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Were we fooled by Chick-Fil-A? Or did we just not dig deep enough?
Historically, when Conservative organizations cave to LGBTQ demands, are the
LGBTQ activists satisfied?
As Christian consumers, what have we learned from this? How can we continue to
fight in the future?
Robert Knight suggests that Chick-Fil-A customers politely speak with
their locally-owned manager, asking him/her to put pressure on the corporate
headquarters concerning this issue. But remember, it’s not the manager’s
fault/decision, so be nice!

Title: Criminalizing CFA
Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by John Horvat
with Return to Order www.ReturnToOrder.org
Part 1 of 2
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young
children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to
understand.
Chick-fil-A is once again in the news, facing the intolerance of those
who disapprove of their moral beliefs on issues. To them, tolerance is a one-way
street.
Author John Horvat writes this in his
latest blog post: “For these people, there is no middle ground.
They will never forget past offenses. Only unconditional surrender will be
tolerated by those who demand the tolerance of others. This used to be called
hypocrisy. Now it is known as social justice and 'compassion' and should be
totally rejected.”
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What “crimes” did CFA President S. Truett Cathy commit in the eyes of
LGBTQ activists?
Do Christ-respecting organizations and activists normally boycott against LGBTQ
organizations or those who support LGBTQ rights? HINT: Nope!
Remember August 1, 2012 “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day”? Why did this
happen?
Are LGBTQ activists some of the biggest hypocrites and least tolerable people in
America?

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Should Chick-fil-A sue the cities of San Antonio, Texas and Buffalo, NY for
discrimination?
What exactly is the “beef” with CFA?
FACT OR FICTION: Drag queens have publicly said they are “grooming
the next generation” when they speak to young children at school or read
during story hour at public libraries.
Does CFA show any signs of “giving in” to the LGBTQ? Do they show any
signs of slowing down in popularity?

Title: DON'T FORGET TO EAT MOR CHIKIN!
Topic: Chick-fil-A
Discussed by Robert Knight
with Robert H Knight (www.RobertHKnight.com)
Part 1 of 2
Did the homosexuals themselves find the "infuriating" quote or did CNN run
the story, pretending that the gays already found it? Is this event a good
thing?
Is the left about tolerance? Is the left all about spreading goodwill and having
us all live together in peace? From a biblical standpoint, are we to wish ill on
our enemies?

If I go to Chick-fil-A on Friday
or Saturday, and there is a gay couple misbehaving in public, should I read
scripture with condemnation? Should I say a gentle prayer for their soul? What
should I do?
Does sugar go much further than vinegar? Does the Bible say we are never to get angry or worked up about things that are worth being angry about?
