All children have a mother and a father. That is a biological fact. A recent UN event, hosted by C-Fam, highlighted how those rights are undermined by efforts to redefine the family in law and normalize reproductive technologies in policy.

Dr. Rebecca Oas is the Associate Director of Research for the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam) in New York City. She is here today to give more details about this event and what their decisions mean for your children and grandchildren.

Honest, loving help for minors is being attacked again – this time in Hawaii. Major LGBTQ groups are flooding to the island in hopes they can convince Legislators there to ban Reparative Therapy for children who have expressed homosexual or transgender desires. Oftentimes, these young children and teenagers have been sexually abused, therefore banning Reparative Therapy hinders criminal investigations.

David H. Pickup is a licensed marriage and family therapist from Dallas and is a huge advocate of Reparative Therapy. David has a stern warning about the LGBTQ movement: “We have to wake up. It is spreading all over the United States…It’s about one thing: the complete normalization of homosexuality and transgenderism.” He also reveals that the gay lobbyists have $300 Million at their disposal, which they are pouring into all 50 states, convincing Legislators that Reparative Therapy is a negative, horrible treatment.

Secular research from organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization prove that the homosexual and transgender lifestyle is prone to more sexually transmitted diseases. Secular research also proves that many children and teens who believe they are gay, lesbian, or transgender have been sexually abused.

This is the problem, people. This is why Reparative Therapy is so needed. And, in his opinion, David Pickup believes that the problem is only getting worse. There isn’t enough research done yet to indicate that Reparative Therapy is a proven treatment, but it definitely does work for his patients. The Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is attempting to force a school in Illinois to allow a gender confused boy the use of the girl’s locker room. The OCR’s actions are based on the premise that they are protecting the civil rights of the student with gender dysphoria and that not to do so would be a violation of Title IX. NOTE: The OCR members are NOT elected by the voters; they are appointed bureaucrats who have only one agenda.

Gail Heriot is with the New American Civil Rights Project. She discusses more about this case and “Student A”, as he is referred to in legal documents. Originally, the school was willing to allow him to use the girl’s locker room, provided that he use a curtain or use a separate area than the girls. Gail explains that the school was going to allow this in order to keep their federal funding. NOTE: The OCR was threatening to stop their federal funding if they didn’t comply.

However, after the agreement was signed, the OCR told the school district that Student A, who is anatomically and biologically male, had every right as the biologic females in locker room. Therefore, he could change with the girls, not in a separate area or behind a curtain.

Gail says, “This is an Alice in Wonderland World.” And it is only going to get worse.

The “Equality Act” (S. 1858 and H.R. 3185) is better known as a supercharged ENDA: the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. The homosexual mafia is using the equal rights debate to bully and coerce lawmakers and business owners to bow down to their every whim.

Mandi Ancalle  is General Counsel for Government Affairs with the Family Research Council. It is Mandi’s job to research proposed legislation and determine its constitutionality. Concerning this topic, she is gravely concerned for the future of our country, especially for our children and grandchildren. Mandi encourages parents to teach their children the difference between homosexuality (which is a choice) and race (which is not a choice).

In her opinion, “Liberal activists on the left do not want their choices to be tolerated. They want the acceptance of those choices to be mandated by the government.” What the ‘Equality Act’ proposes is the extreme of this ideology. If you’ve been following the HERO debate in Houston, then you will know what to expect from this legislation in WDC. It actually will legalize men going into women’s facilities nationally.

For instance, Mandi points out that just because a man considers himself “transgender” does not mean he isn’t attracted to females anymore. Furthermore, the federal law will allow boys in the girl’s bathroom and locker room at all public schools in America. People, wake up! Mandi discusses the use of technology to spread messages to voting demographics. It’s important to reach the people through what they identify with, and using instant messages and multi-language campaign ads are a great start. “When people are given the chance to vote on issues like this, they choose morality and safety,” Mandi says.

However, there is still a lot of work to be done on this issue, Mandi says. It takes time, patience, and lots of money. Are your children and grandchildren worth it? If we think the LGBTQ crowd will give in because they lost in Houston, we will lose the country.

Dr. Hotze believes now is the time to step up our game and push even harder to stop them. He compares the fight we currently face to David and Goliath. We all know how that event played out. The same can – and will – happen with us! We have God on our side!

“The LGBTQ agenda is a political movement,” Dr. Hotze says. “Just like the Nazis and the Communists had a political movement. They have an agenda and want to force their values upon society and pervert us. They want to make what God stands for wrong.” Just look at the millions of dollars the LGBTQ crowd spent pushing their agenda. Our side barely raised $1 million, with $350,000 coming straight from Dr. Hotze. As for the money he gave to defeating the cause, Dr. Hotze says, “It is God’s money. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.”

Friends, this is a cultural war we are in. We cannot afford to pick and choose what is right and wrong. The Bible is clear. And we must continue to fight for God.

I asked Pastor Maxcy if Mrs. Young had, in fact, come face-to-face with a male in a women’s restroom at the Art Museum in Houston. Pastor Maxcy confirmed Pastor Ed Young’s statement that Jo Beth Young had, in fact, come face-to-face with a man in the women’s restroom at the Art Museum in Houston.

Furthermore, I also informed Pastor Maxcy that the headline I would be using in the upcoming LINK Letter would read as follows: “Pastor Ed Young’s Wife Confronted by a Man in the Women’s Bathroom in the Art Museum”. Pastor Maxcy said it was factually correct.

I received a call from a secretary at Second Baptist not long after the most recent LINK Letter hit the streets. Mrs. Young was apparently upset that I had used the word “confronted” when publishing this story. There are several different definitions of the word “confront”. I chose the explanation which simply means “to stand or come in front of; stand and meet facing.”

Why must a man be in a woman’s bathroom?

I’m sure many of us have felt letdown and completely crushed on social media after innocently commenting on a news website about something we are passionate about, specifically homosexuality. It is very difficult to have an adult conversation with many people on the left. As soon as you state your opinion, they attack.

Jared Woodfill is back today to give one final plea to Houston voters about the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance that Mayor Parker and her cronies are trying to force upon the good citizens of Houston. The radio and TV ads the Mayor and others are running are extremely deceitful and some are downright lies!

First, Jared wants to set the record straight about the fine which business owners face if they refuse to allow a man – transgender or not – into the women’s bathroom, changing facility, or locker room. It’s NOT a mere $500 as the Mayor wants you to believe; it is up to $5,000 AND for a year the Office of The Inspector General will investigate your business, you, and your employees. So you need an attorney. THEN the City of Houston can decide to file a lawsuit against you and your business, so you need yet another attorney. And on and on and on.

TThe homosexuals who are jamming their agenda down American’s throats are literally bullying every single person, celebrity, business, and even entire states who dare to stand up to them. They preach “tolerance for all”, yet they are the most intolerant of everyone else! “The reality is,” Jared says, “any time someone stands against their agenda, they will be targeted. And it will be very calculated and intentional.”

We lose when we stay silent. We lose when we don’t fight back. We lose when we stay home and don’t vote. Please, if you are a registered voter, vote NO on Proposition 1 for the City of Houston’s Equal Rights Ordinance. And, remember, every registered voter in the state of Texas has the opportunity to vote on seven Constitutional Amendments which affect every single Texan. Mayor Parker recently attacked Houston Astros legend Lance Berkman and his family during a Twitter temper-tantrum tirade concerning his outspoken opinion on the issue, which would give boys in middle and high school and men who want to cause trouble the opportunity to play Peeping Tom.

Jared Woodfill, the former Harris County Republican Party Chairman, is another outspoken activist fighting Mayor Parker and her homosexual mafia friends. Jared discusses how Mayor Parker personally attacks anyone who dares to stand in the way of HERO. She has attacked pastors who have publicly spoken out against men in women’s bathrooms. She has attacked Jared and other political activists working against her. And now she is attacking Lance Berkman, his wife, and his daughters.

Jared believes that Mayor Parker’s attacks on Lance are purposeful and intentional. “We can have a debate about this all day long,” Jared says. “But when you go after someone personally, as she did Lance, that’s just crossing the line….There is something wrong when we as a society cannot say that it is wrong for men to go into female restrooms.”

If you visit social media cites, especially Facebook, or watch the news on a regular basis you have probably seen differing opinions (and arguments) about HERO. It protects breastfeeding moms. It protect veterans. It protects minorities. Yes, HERO protects all of these groups – but so does Federal Law that is already in place. The one aspect of HERO that has Christians and businesses concerned is the “public accommodations” paragraph, or the “bathroom ordinance”.

FACT: Under HERO, businesses which prefer to hire Veterans over others will be fined and have civil and criminal penalties placed on them!

Senator Paul Bettencourt believes the citizens of Houston are right to fear HERO. He explains how this ordinance is so poorly written that even liberal attorneys who have looked at it are confused! “Here’s the problem…We are having a separation between fantasy and reality,” Senator Bettencourt asserts. “It is political correctness gone crazy.”

Big businesses, like the Greater Houston Partnership, have given in to the homosexual mafia. They are afraid of retribution from the gays against their livelihood, plain and simple. Businesses should have the right to make their own decisions, not some bureaucrat in City Hall. Period.

Is any business or business owner safe from the homosexual agenda? Is anyone safe from their perverted brainwashing ways? The LGBT Mafia doesn’t want anyone, anywhere, anytime, to deny them anything. The “Equality Act”, introduced to Congress by the Human Rights Campaign in, does not protect equality before the law, but unnecessarily and unjustly violates freedom by creating special privileges based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Ryan Anderson  is the William E. Simon Senior Research Fellow in American Principles and Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation  Ryan explains some of the problems with the “Equality Act”. For example, sexual orientation is not easily identifiable like race is. How are we to know, unless they tell us, and then they get offended when they have to tell us?

Ryan also comments on the various lawsuits against individuals who own businesses and have refused service to gay couples. The LGBT’s claim is something like: We wouldn’t tolerate the racist florist, so why should we tolerate the homophobic one? When it comes to special rights for special people, when will it end? The homosexual mafia is not going to be satisfied with just the LGBT acronym; in fact many people already include the “Q” at the end and more letters of the alphabet seem to be added to it every time it is discussed.

Ryan Anderson further discusses the “Equality Act” in this second segment. If the left was really in favor of equality, they would leave Catholics and Evangelical Christians alone; they’d let business owners decide for themselves whom they wish to serve. The SCOTUS has already ruled in favor of gay marriage; they already won that battle. Why do they have to take it even further and discriminate against the majority of the population in America?

When it comes down to it, the left is forcing us to abide by their rules. They do not care if our religious beliefs are violated because they believe we are wrong. Period. In my opinion, those on the left are just fearful of being labeled a bigot and homophobe. How many of them would really be happy if their daughter said she was a lesbian or their son wanted to be a woman?

Peter LaBarbera is the President of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality.  Peter says this of Bruce Jenner and the transgender community as a whole: “Rejecting your own sex that you were born into is even a greater rejection of God…than homosexual behavior.” He discusses in detail how researches have never discovered a “gay gene”. For example, identical twins share the same genetic makeup; so, if one identical twin is gay, then both would be gay. This is simply not the case.

Peter fears for future generations as the MSM and the left claim homosexuality and transgenderism is the “new norm”, rather than a sin. Teens are already confused enough; they don’t need people like Bruce Jenner adding fuel to the fire. Peter is convinced that we need to pray fervently for people who believe they are homosexual or transgender. They need grace and truth.

On the other hand, we need to stand firm in Truth, never giving into sin and what the world says we must conform to. The First Amendment is being trampled on at every turn and it is Christians who are being bullied the most. “The irony is that this movement once talked about tolerance. Now, they’re the most intolerant movement we have in this country.”

The Obama Administration has been pushing the homosexual agenda on our trading and political partners across the globe – even going far as threatening to discontinue aid if they do not agree to his radical terms. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has even stated that “sexual orientation and gender identity” is a protected category under international law, even though no human rights treaty agrees.

Austin Ruse, with the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute, says now is the time to take a stand and fight back against those who wish to demand we accept their sinful lifestyle. Austin explains how Obama recently stopped military aid to Uganda for this very reason! Uganda is not only an ally of the United States, they are fighting ISIS forces and need our help!

All human beings are already protected under the Human Rights Treaty. So why the big push? Why don’t they just go to the General Assembly to demand they pass a global law or develop a treaty amongst all nations for the LGBT crowd? Most experts agree that the General Assembly will not pass such a treaty of global law. However, Austin states that, “The UN usually ignores the wishes of the General Assembly.” They are actively recruiting in our schools at the earliest possible age. In Massachusetts and California actually mandate it be taught in their schools!

Another issue being pushed by Obama and the Gay Mafia is the banning of “gay therapy”. Austin believes that “This is an abominable intrusion between a person and his doctor. He says, “Ultimately there cannot be a line drawn if you cut loose the anchor of the historic relevance of the marriage union as one man and one woman.” If the SCOTUS redefines marriage and allows gays to marry in every state in America, it will exclude someone somewhere and there will be no end to regression.

Contrary to what you may have heard or read or seen in a Tweet, there is not any systematic discrimination occurring to warrant the “Equal Rights” ordinances. Don’t blame me. I go to church. The minister preaches. I go home.

The Mayor of Houston announced on Wednesday morning, October 29 that she would not be pursuing the subpoena against the Houston area pastors, their tweets, and sermons. Praise God! But what does that mean going forward? Does that mean we can all stop sharing blogs and articles on Facebook and Twitter? Should we stop talking about it at the water cooler at work?

Travis Weber, with the Family Research Council, says we cannot stop fighting them. We can never stop. Now is the time to become even more involved than ever. We’ve had a taste of what persecution feels like and it definitely left a bitter taste in our mouths.

Does this mean that gay marriage is here to stay and will soon be in every state in the nation? Or will the fight continue and become the Roe v Wade of marriage?

Peter Sprigg calls the SCOTUS members “cowards”, saying their decision has made it necessary for lower court judges to make all future decisions in regards to same-sex marriage. Peter doesn’t think this is unpersuasive and even constitutional.

Another issue discussed in this segment are the many recent Christian-owned companies and businesses that have been targeted by homosexuals wishing to marry – the baker, the florist, the reception venue, and now even the minister. This is just getting out of hand. Why are these gay couples so adamant about using these businesses when they have so many other options? “This is not an equal balance of the risks and harms”, says Peter Sprigg. “Gay couples can go somewhere else. Business owners are forced to close their doors.”

Peter also makes an important observation that many may not have realized. One of the statements by the LGBT is: “We just want the fundamental right to marry the person of our choice.” But no one – not even heterosexuals – have the right to marry the person of their choice. We can’t marry a 9 year old. We can’t marry a close blood relative. We can’t marry someone if we are already married. Up until the last 10 years, no one was allowed to marry a person of their same sex. Peter says this is a sensitive issue, because once we give in to “them”, when will the restrictions on marrying a child, marrying a relative, and marrying multiple partners be lifted?

Then add in the fact that 85% of all homosexuals die by the age of 65. That is not very gay. #1 cause of death is suicide. Of course, a musician friend of mine died of complications from aids. A huge loss to the world as he was a major talent. Homosexuality is all about personal pleasure. It has no redeeming benefits. It destroys everything it touches. Certainly nothing to be proud about.”

Shortly after Doc Green uttered those words on his own internet radio program, he was “asked to resign from his position as the Vice Chair of the Harris County Libertarian Party”.

Despite pressure for our State Department (Hillary Clinton), pro-homosexual groups were told “NO” at the United Nations.

Many countries are weary of an LGBT agenda that goes beyond addressing violence and discrimination and attempts to single out homosexuals for special protections beyond those afforded to all individuals under international law.

Russia has enacted a law that prohibits promoting homosexuality to minors. Where are our elected officials?

The first definition of "conservative" in most dictionaries is something like this: "disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change."

If that definition is accurate, many self-proclaimed "conservatives" have already betrayed their cause of preserving the most important institution to any civilized or self-governing society, while others are treating marriage as if it's just another issue on which good people can disagree.

That's the capitulation I see since the recent arrival on the scene by a well-funded group called GOProud, which bills itself as a "gay" conservative organization.

GOProud scored a publicity and political coup recently by securing conservative star Ann Coulter as a keynote speaker at its "Homocon" conference in New York Sept. 25.

"Homocon" is an appropriate name for the event - because the homos are conning conservatives into believing they are a legitimate, sincere and vital part of their movement and people who share many of the same fundamental convictions. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Coulter reacted with fury and ad hominem attacks on my character and religious faith when I dropped her as a keynote speaker at my own conference in Miami a week earlier because of the validation she was providing for this group, which recently was accepted as a co-sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference, largest annual gathering of conservatives in Washington.

That decision led Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity to turn down invitations to address CPAC and a handful of conservative organizations to withdraw from co-sponsorship, not because, as some suggest, they are "anti-gay," but rather because they recognize a "homo con" when they see one.

GOProud claims to be conservative, but it's not. It's conning the conservative movement - or what is rapidly becoming the formerly conservative movement.
