Brad Meltzer has added a new book to his series “Ordinary People Change the World”. He has written children’s biographies on Abraham Lincoln, Helen Keller, Lucille Ball, Jackie Robinson, Albert Einstein, Rosa Parks, and Amelia Earhart. He has waited patiently to write his new book, “I am Martin Luther King, Jr.” Brad says this of Martin Luther King, Jr.: “His life is proof that if we stand together and remain united, nothing can stop his dream.”

In “I am Martin Luther King, Jr.” you will learn that he was a total klutz! He was constantly getting hurt. But he never, ever gave up. More importantly, though, even as a child, he was shocked by the terrible and unfair way African-American people were treated. He learned a hard lesson at the age of six, which Brad talks about in this segment.

Note: Two of my granddaughters, ages ten and eight, absolutely LOVE the books in the “Ordinary People Change the World” series. They have read every one of them and used the books for reports for their homeschool! These are great books to have for every house, church, and school.
