Title: More Taxes for Cleaner Air
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Tom Pyle
with Institute for Energy Research (www.InstituteForEnergy.com)
Part 1 of 2
Responders to survey questions overwhelming desire cleaner air and water, but once told what it would cost them individually and as a family, the majority of survey responders say NO to paying more for little or no tangible increase in cleaner air and/or water.
Tom Pyle is the President of the Institute for Energy Research (IER). He warns everyone not to be fooled by the “Green New Deal’ rhetoric sure to be spewed from the mouths of Democrat Presidential candidates in the soon-to-be air Presidential Primary debates the end of June.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
With respect to the cost of electricity, what did the latest study reveal when comparing today’s cost with future costs from wind and solar?
Must those in Germany choose between heating and cooling their homes and food and medicine? Are there people dying because of “green policies”?
How does America’s air and water compare to other industrialized countries like China and India?
Has America made giant leaps toward cleaner air and water the past 50 plus years?

Questions/Issues Discussed:
How would consumer electric rates be affected by increasing total wind and solar
energy capacity? LISTEN CLOSE! Are you ready for your electric bill to double or
triple???
Tom Pyle says this: “We have been blessed in this country with the most
generous supply of natural resources in the world…We have politicians who want
to take that away on the altar of climate change. For them, it is not about the
environment; it’s a religion.”

Title: EPA Loses Again
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Dan Kish
with Institute for Energy Research (www.instituteforenergyresearch.org)
President Donald Trump recently signed new Executive orders
directing the EPA to revise cumbersome policies under the Clean Water Act (CWA)
while also ordering federal agencies to streamline the permitting process to
speed up much needed energy projects. Click
here to read the report.
What does this mean for you and me? Dan Kish is the Senior Vice President at the
Institute for Energy Research. Dan discusses why the new orders are
necessary and what it means for the future.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why were new Executive orders necessary to advance pipeline projects?
Will President Trump’s Executive orders not only encourage but help deliver more
affordable energy to all Americans?
When Blue States lock out new energy sources, pipelines, and infrastructure they
pay more for electricity and gasoline. IS THIS FACT? Dan Kish offer specific
examples…
Why do people in the Northeast use “heating oil” instead of natural
gas? What is the cost difference? Does heating oil actually cause MORE
pollution?
What is the difference between the Democrat position on fossil fuel development
and the Conservative position? HINT: Dan calls “one” of these
parties “abominable”.

Title: Courts Being Used for EPA Agenda
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Chris Horner
with Competitive Enterprise Institute www.cei.org
Our “do-nothing” Congress does nothing to stop environmentalists. How do the radicals get their agenda passed, though? Chris Horner is a Senior Legal Fellow with the
Competitive Enterprise Institute. He has some answers for us today about the environmentalist’s incessant badgering on Congress.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Has the Republican-controlled Congress been unwilling to rein in radical environmentalists? Listen as Chris discusses the “one shot legislation” tactic.
How have the radical environmentalists been using the Federal Courts?
Is there evidence of an increase in deaths among senior citizens in countries where access to reliable energy is limited and outrageously high?
Chris Horner also shares some disturbing information about the Paris Treaty and Obama… You don’t want to miss it. Listen in!
Are some radical environmentalists recruiting state and local officials to pick up their cause and sue in Federal Courts?
What evidence do left-leaning government officials have to substantiate their claims that energy companies have known for decades that their products cause global warming and are causing significant impact on the Earth’s climate and sea levels?
How can average citizens stop this abuse of the system?

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Wait a minute… Doesn’t Al Gore preach “Use less energy, especially fossil fuels”?
How did Drew Johnson obtain information about Al Gore’s Nashville home energy usage?
How much energy did Al Gore’s Nashville home devour last year as compared to the average American household?
How much energy did Al Gore’s Nashville home devour in the month of September 2016?
Does Al Gore have a private jet, a house boat, and numerous gas-guzzling SUV’s at his disposable?

Al Gore and his hypocrisy.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
It must be nice for a single man to own a 10,000 square foot home… Does Al Gore
“walk the walk” or just “talk the talk”? Why does he need all
that space?
After it was discovered in 2007 that his home is an energy-hog, what
upgrades/remodeling has he done to bring down his energy usage? Was he
successful in his attempts? David Almasi describes some of the upgrades,
including “curly fry lights”.
Does Al Gore depend solely on green energy for his home? Can any home or
business rely solely on green energy?
Marketers of green energy are lying to the public. Should they be sued for false

Title: Paris Pull-Out
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Marc Morano
with Climate Depot (ClimateDepot.com)
Last Thursday (June 1), we heard the news that President Donald
Trump pulled the United Stated out of the Paris Climate Change Agreement
(PCCA). This is a far cry from former President Obama’s love
affair with the UN and the EPA.
Marc Morano is the Director of Communications for the Committee for a
Constructive Tomorrow. He has insider news about the PCCA and why President
Trump refused to participate in the debacle.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why does Marc Morano believe President Trump made the right decision?
Will there be more pollutants in the air because the US is not party to the
PCCA?
Will this diminish our quality of life?
Do we really need the UN’s permission to use or not use fossil fuels?
What are a few problems with the PCCA? Reduce paper manufacturing twelve
percent. Reduce cement manufacturing by twenty-three percent. Reduce steel and
iron manufacturing thirty-eight percent. Reduce coal use by eighty-six percent.
REDUCE THE USE OF NATURAL GAS BY thirty-one percent.
Would the PCCA hurt the American economy?
What restrictions will be placed upon other countries under the PCCA? Is it
fair?
Has the Vice Chair stated: “We will redistribute wealth by climate policy.”
Wow. That should scare even the liberals. (But it won’t!)

Title: Is the Paris Climate Agreement a Treaty?
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Chris Horner
with Competitive Enterprise Institute www.cei.org
Rep. Kevin Cramer’s op-ed “Remake
the Paris Deal to Promote U.S. Energy” contains
no provision for renegotiation. Unless President Trump
keeps his promise to cancel US participation in this treaty, we will always have
Paris.
Chris Horner is with the Energy and Environment Legal Institute. Listen
in as he reveals more about Rep. Cramer’s op-ed and what the Paris Climate
Agreements means for America.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Is the Paris Climate Agreement a “treaty”?
Have any past Presidents ever entered into an agreement like the Paris Climate
Agreement?
Must treaties negotiated by the President of the United States, or his
surrogates, be ratified by 2/3rds of the US Senators?
Did President Obama submit the Paris Agreement to the US Senate for
ratification?
How much time does President Trump have to act on this issue?
President Trump has some advisers who do not want him to axe the Paris
Agreement. By sending the treaty to the US Senate for ratification, wouldn’t
this give him cover with his beloved family members?
If President Trump sends the Paris Agreement to the US Senate, are there enough
votes for ratification? Listen as Chris discusses the Senate votes from various
state and why the voting process must be upheld.
Has America transformed a representative government ruled by laws into a
government domain?
How will the Paris Climate Agreement effect Americans if it is not axed?

The media is beside itself over possible contacts between President Trump and Russia. However, where is the outrage over liberal billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer’s Russian connections?
Craig Richardson, President of the Energy and Environment Legal Institute, poses this question: When is it convenient to be an environmentalist?
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Does Russia really desire to destroy America’s oil and gas production?
Who is Tom Steyer?
Is Tom Steyer an environmentalist now only AFTER he made millions of dollars with the coal industry?
After he became close friends with Obama, did Steyer help shape the former President’s energy policy?

Title: Golden River Flowing
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Chris Horner
with Competitive Enterprise Institute www.cei.org
Part 1 of 2
Is the EPA up a golden creek without a paddle?
How are they going to get out of the catastrophe triggered when a worker
accidentally dumped 3 million gallons of toxic waste into the Animas River?
Chris Horner,
with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, discusses how this incident was
actually predicted to happen! No matter how many years of experience someone has
(this worker had 28!), accidents happen – but this could have been avoided if
the EPA had just listened to other experts!
However, Chris does believe this is a teachable moment. He goes on to explain
that Gina McCarthy, the head of the EPA, attempted to hide the entire incident
when it was first discovered. “We need to call a time-out on…allowing them to
seize authority…because they cannot be held accountable,” Chris proclaims. No
will be fired. And the EPA will not even pay for the cleanup efforts out of
their budget; the tax payers will pay for it!
Two Questions:
1) Is the EPA even trying to stop the flow of the toxic chemicals
into other bodies of water?
2) Should the EPA be held financially and economically liable for the damage
caused by their own government worker?
Tune in to the next segment as Chris Horner discusses the idiocy of the EPA in
regards to electrical generation and transmission.

We need to look no further than the energy crisis in Europe to know the EPA is
overstepping its authority. America is on a downward spiral thanks to the
elected officials who keep granting the EPA unlimited power over our electrical
generation and transmission capabilities. Bottom line, Chris says, “This is

Title: EPA Should Pay
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Marita Noon
with Energy Makes America Great
When the British
Petroleum oil spill occurred several years ago, the left screamed and wailed and
cried tears of blood for all the animals that would die and the environment that
would never be the same. It was the worst disaster to happen since
the dawn of time. (sarcasm) Fast-forward to last week, when an EPA worker
accidentally dumped 3 million gallons of toxic waste into Colorado’s Animas
River. The waste turned the river into a copper-yellow color and has spurred a
state of emergency.
Marita Noon was in New Mexico when the incident happened. She discusses how the
cleanup efforts are a joke; it took nearly a week to get started! Furthermore,
the EPA keeps lying about just how much of the toxic material spilled into the
river. If this incident was the fault of an oil company, the MSM and the EPA
would be attacking that company with everything they had. But since it was the
EPA’s fault, it’s ok!
Why did the EPA even bother with this old mine, anyway? It was abandoned, not
bothering anyone! The EPA has a budget they must meet each year and inspecting
these old mines is part of that itinerary. But why? What is the purpose? Listen
as Marita explains this and what she thinks will happen in the future.

Title: Predictions and the Truth
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Katie Tubb
with The Heritage Foundation (www.Heritage.org)
Five years ago, a
blowout of BP’s Deepwater Horizon oil rig 40 miles from the Gulf Coast
tragically claimed 11 lives and spilled 3 million barrels of oil from the
damaged wellhead into the Gulf. It was a horrific accident that
caused substantial damage to the ecology and commerce of the region. It’s hard
to forget the video images of thick oil day after day gushing into the region’s
waters.
The MSM and environmentalists around the globe predicted that this incident
would be the end of business in the Gulf. Katie Tubb, with The Heritage
Foundation, explains some of the predictions and what is really happening
now, five years later. She says, “Tourism is moving forward and fisheries
have also recovered… While everything is not perfect, recovery is happening much
faster than the 40 years it was predicted.”
Time after time, Mother Nature has proven that she is a lot stronger than we
give her credit for. She is not as fragile as the MSM and the environmentalists
would have us believe. She picks herself up and moves on. It’s time the MSM does the same.

Title: Does a Gruber Exist in the EPA?
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Leighton Steward
with CO2 Is Green www.CO2IsGreen.org
Many voters across the nation
are beginning to reject the cries of the environmentalists. They are simply not
buying the global warming lies anymore. It’s not because of the crazy blizzards
in November. It’s not because of fewer tropical storms and hurricanes in recent
years. They are just wising up and doing the research for themselves.
Leighton Steward describes how a NASA scientist has discovered a satellite that
shows the Earth has turned greener and greener for the last three decades. How
is this possible? Maybe – just maybe – global warming is, in fact, a big, fat
lie.
What about solar and wind panels? Are they reliable? Are they worth the money?
The sun doesn’t shine all the time. The wind doesn’t blow constantly. Why does
the left think they are so great?
Recently, two coal-fired plants were closed in the north. What could happen this
winter if another polar vortex occurs like it did last year? The north was
dangerously close to a major blackout for months because they refuse to use more
fossil fuels.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently agreed to review its past decisions to allow
the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to regulate auto and truck emissions

identical regulation of stationary energy producing facilities was beneficial to
the environment – or detrimental.
Leighton Steward is considered an “Earth scientist” – not an extreme

The problem began in 2007 when the Court ruled that the EPA could determine if CO2 was a dangerous pollutant.

Climate Change report (IPCC) that indicated CO2 was likely to cause catastrophic
global warming. This is a UN Panel and a UN study. Surprise. Surprise.
Even Democratic Congressman John Dingell (Mich.), the father of the law, has been quoted as saying that they never intended that the CAA would regulate carbon dioxide. Ding! Ding! Ding!

Title: Clean Air Through Liberty: Reforming the Clean Air Act!
Topic: Environmental Issues
Discussed by Kathleen White
with Texas Public Policy Foundation (www.TexasPolicy.com)
Part 1 of 2
What is our quality of air like today compared to
40 years ago? What does "ambient level" mean? What is particulate matter?
Are there any new studies that say we must reduce pollutants to further increase
the quality of life, to increase longevity, and to reduce death caused by
particles in the air?
What are the harder sciences? Is the EPA in the same ballpark? What do you think
about the recent study conducted by the EPA on a sample size of only 10
Mennonite women?

Should Congress retake its authority, and should we hold Congress accountable
for the EPA running amok?
For our listeners just now joining in, what's the quality of our water and air
since the EPA was birthed 40 years ago? Also, was the EPA created by law?
Can we continue to go down the same course with the EPA unbridled and maintain
our lifestyle of having two SUVs', and a 4,000 square foot home with heat in the
winter and AC in the summer?

The Earth's temperatures have been in an overall cooling trend since about 7,000 years ago which is long before the development of agriculture and general civilization. Are you more concerned about a global cooling?
Why would the previous four interglacials, going back 400,000 years, have been warmer than the current one despite the CO2 level being 28% lower than today?

Why should we have to pay on average an 11% increase in our home electric bills?
Why should area businesses have to pay on average a 35% increase in electricity
prices?
Suggested ways for businesses to pay for their increase electric bills:
1. Pass costs onto consumers with higher prices
2. Hold wages flat or even reduce wages
3. Layoff an employee or employees
4. If a business cannot due one of the above, or a combination, then simply
close down
