Title: Socialism vs. Freedom
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Bob Unruh
with World Net Daily (www.WND.com)
The most recent issue of Billy Graham’s
Decision Magazine bluntly
pointed out the stark differences between political parties on moral and social
issues, immediately drawing fire from the Left, specifically the Freedom
from Religion Foundation (which is NOT a Christian organization).
Today, Bob Unruh discusses the importance of the upcoming November Election and the purpose and goal behind the
Decision Magazine’s bold move. Bob Unruh has been with World Net Daily since 2006.

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Do churches/pastors have the Constitutional right to discuss ideological differences between candidates? Does the
Decision Magazine also have the Constitutional Right to print facts and opinions concerning candidates and political parties?
Why did the Freedom from Religion Foundation attack the Decision Magazine? Have they attacked other Christian organizations, churches, and even the military in the past?
Bob Unruh gives several examples that are simply ridiculous. Goodness, the Left really hates Christianity.
Has the Left basically taken over the political climate in America? Is our great nation suffering the devastating consequences of turning our backs on God? Are Biblical values still relevant in today’s culture?

Title: Are you Grateful? Then VOTE!
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Linda Harvey
with Mission: America (www.MissionAmerica.com)
Life is hard, and sometimes not fair, but we really, truly blessed
to live in America.
Today, Linda Harvey implores all Christians to become informed and vote in the
upcoming November Election. Linda is the Founder of Mission:America, a Christian
pro-family organization tracking current cultural issues, and host “The Word”
radio show.
Linda is a popular conference speaker and the author of two Christian books,
“Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality”
and “Not My Child: Contemporary Paganism and the New Spirituality”.

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why is Linda personally grateful to live in the United States of America?
If a Christian doesn’t vote, are they grateful for their life in the US? Linda
explains why she wrote about this in her op-ed.
Do we all need to step up and do our part to protect life, liberty, and the
pursuit of happiness? Linda believes that all pastors, ministers, and priests
should encourage public service and all members to vote in every election
because Jesus would!
How can we avoid giving strength and voice to those who wish us harm – even
evil?
If a Christ-following King David was on the ballot, would most Americans vote
for him, knowing about his past?
Is there a clear, ethical choice between Democrats and Republicans? Linda
reminds us that Christians are called to follow Christ in ALL things – even
voting. We must do right in ALL things – even voting.

Discussed by Dr. Michael Brown
with Dr. Michael Brown www.AskDrBrown.org
Will Evangelicals turn the tide in the 2018 Midterms as they did in the 2016
General Elections?
Is there a way for evangelicals to support the President and many Republicans
without losing their souls in the process?
These questions, plus more, will be answered today by Dr. Michael Brown. Dr.
Brown is the author of over thirty books, and his syndicated columns appear on
many Christian and conservative websites.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
How many Evangelical Christians voted for President Donald Trump in 2106?
Are Evangelical Leaders under increasing pressure to distance themselves from
President Trump?
Are Republican candidates doomed if large numbers of Evangelicals stay home
during the mid-term elections in November?
Is the relationship between President Trump and Evangelicals a match made in
heaven or a marriage forged in the depths of hell itself?
Does government effect the home, our schools, our jobs, and our churches –
basically everything in our day-to-day lives?

Title: Why Vote Straight Ticket?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Texas is the most Conservative state in the Union. We need to keep
it that way. Listen in as Lt. Governor Dan Patrick encourages all
Texas Republicans to vote Straight Ticket.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why are so many Republicans hesitant to vote “down ballot Republican”? “When
you don’t vote for someone you don’t know, you wind up electing a liberal who
you don’t like,” Lt. Governor Patrick states.
More often than not, an elected Republican official will vote according to the
Party Platform. Does this help the voter understand what a person really stands
for?
What are some of the policy differences between Republicans and Democrats?

Title: California GOP Might be a Game-Changer
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by James Hirsen
with James Hirsen www.JamesHirsen.com
In terms of the Primary Election, California has not been a
significant a factor in the modern era, mainly due to its late voting date and
the immense cost of campaigning in such a large state. This
primary season, however, seems to be turning conventional wisdom on its head.
Instead of being a proverbial wallflower, California is likely to hold a Primary
which may play a key role in determining whether or not the GOP convention will
be a contested one.
Author, attorney, and Media Psychologist James Hirsen calls Hollywood an “ATM
for Democrats” because California is best known for the huge amounts of cash
which streams straight into the campaign coffers of Democrat candidates. In
fact, the biggest campaign event in the history of politics was held in
Hollywood, hosted by George Clooney, grossing $15 Million in one evening.
Why can’t Republicans do this? Simply put: Because Republicans aren’t
Socialists, of course! Celebrities hate corporations, but seem to forget that
their checks come from corporations! James Hirsen says, “Hollywood starts
with an ‘H’, which stands for ‘hypocrisy’.” These are the same people who
chastise us for driving SUV’s as they climb into their private jets to travel
two hours away.
Trump and Cruz must be on pins and needles awaiting the voter’s decision on June
7 from Californians, as well as voters in Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and
North and South Dakota. James Hirsen reminds us that the last time voters in
California made a difference in the Primary was way back in 1972, when the
voters gave the nod to George McGovern! He also discusses the Primary in 1964,
which made a significant impact, as well.
Listen in as James Hirsen discusses the seriousness of the situation and the
process which California awards their delegate votes. “It’s going to be a
real ‘Battle Royale’ on the West Coast,” he believes. Texans can still
help, though, and James explains how.

Title: Iowa’s Biggest Issue: Renewable Energy
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Marita Noon
with Energy Makes America Great
Most Conservative voters don’t have corn on their mind, but in Iowa it’s on
their short list. Marita Noon is with us today to give us the skinny on corn and
why Iowans consider it to be gold. Marita reminds us that back in 2005, Congress
passed “The Renewable Fuel Standard” or the “Ethanol Mandate”. This law demanded
that the fuel sold in America must contain increasing amounts of ethanol, which
is made from corn. “This is a great boondoggle for the commercial corn grower
and big famers,” Marita says.
Obviously, the big corn growers love this mandate! However, it is outdated and
unworkable. But, why? Isn’t it a good thing? “Ethanol has no friends these
days,” she declares. Listen in as Marita explains why even the environmentalists
don’t even like it!
Marita also explains that the kind of corn used to produce ethanol is not the
kind we eat at our summer barbeques; it is the kind of corn used to feed various
farm animals like cows and chickens. This, in turn, raises the price of food!
Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are the top two candidates in Iowa. The Donald, on the
record, is in favor of using more ethanol, while Cruz is more in line with the
majority of Conservatives. This shouldn’t actually be all that surprising.
However, there is some polling which has indicated that the increasing use of
ethanol is gaining some attention across the board. Listen in as Marita
discusses this.

Title: The Past Election was Good but it was not Enough. So, Now What?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by John Horvat
with Return to Order www.ReturnToOrder.org
Since Adam and Eve there has never been 100% agreement in families,
communities, churches, cities, counties, states and nations. Does our two-party
system damage economic prosperity for all? John Horvat, author of “Return to
Order” says the Republican victories in the past election will not be enough to
keep our country together.
Just look at the past few decades. The Republicans win one cycle. The Democrats
win the next. Then it’s back the Republicans. And so on. “America is, without a
doubt, a conservative nation – but it’s not necessarily a traditional one,” says
John Horvat. The back and forth tide is normal, and probably even unavoidable.
Most Americans do not want a one-party system; they want options. There is far
too much disagreement among the parties anyway to go one way or the other.
So, what’s next? We need statesmen, not politicians; they just rock the boat.
Statesmen correct the course. We need people who will stick to their principles.
It sounds like a no-brainer, but it’s not always so easy; pressure mounts from
all sides.
In his book, “Return to Order”, John Horvat asks this question: “Do we want
unbridled freedom or ordered liberty? A secular nation or a nation under God? Do
we want big government solutions or do we want organic solutions?”
Are we, the average citizen – the average voter – too engrossed in our own lives
to get involved in the process? John Horvat believes the current crises in
society are waking people up, but we can’t just post something on Facebook or
Tweet an article; that’s not enough. We have to get out there.
Log on to www.ReturnToOrder.com for more on John Horvat and to order his great
book.

Title: Will Texas Turn Blue in 2014?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Jared Woodfill
with Conservative Activist
Part 1 of 4
There is a growing movement to remove the social planks from the Republican
Party platform. We MUST keep Conservative, social principles alive in the
Republican Party. If we do not, we will lose.
Large counties throughout Texas have slowly been turning blue over the past few elections. Jared Woodfill, the HCRP Chairman, discusses why he thinks this trend is happening and what must be done to keep other counties, secifically Harris County, from doing the same.

Title: Log Cabins Push Gay Agenda. Is That What You Want?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Jared Woodfill
with Conservative Activist
Part 2 of 4
The Houston Log Cabin
Republicans has one purpose: to implement the gay agenda within the Republican
Party. They have raised a significant amount of money in Harris County to
recruit gay precinct chairs and to register voters in the gay community on the
Republican ticket.
Jared is concerned. He has been to nearly 50 Republican Party meetings over the
past year and is not aware of any unified effort by any group to actively seek
and recruit Conservative, Christian voters or precinct chairs who agree with the
social issues facing our society today. There are several individuals who have
been working very hard, but not in large masses.
Listen in as Jared explains his apprehension.

Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Jared Woodfill

Part 3 of 4
The Democrats have
2,500 paid workers who are actively registering voters and recruiting precinct
chairs in Texas. If Texas turns blue, the country is doomed. We
might not ever return to the traditional values that once held our country
together.

Title: What Does Advertising Cost?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Jared Woodfill
with Conservative Activist
Part 4 of 4
Call the Houston
Chronicle or the Dallas Morning News or the Austin American-Statesman and ask
what the going rate is for an advertisement. The LINK
Letter is a for-profit newspaper, just like these newspapers are. Many
people accuse “pay-to-play” newspapers such as the LINK Letter
of selling endorsements.
Ask Jared Woodfill his opinion of the LINK Letter. He has been working in the
Republican Party for a long time. He has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
He knows who the good guys are and who the not-so-good-guys are. Should Harris
County Republican voters elect leaders who favor killing babies and teaching
your children to embrace the gay lifestyle.?
