Title: Victory for Patients, Physicians, and the First Amendment
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Andy Schlafly
with Phyllis Schlafly Eagles (www.PhyllisSchlafly.com)
On June 3, 2024, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a landmark ruling,
establishing the right to object in court to censorship of physicians’ speech on
topics ranging from government Covid policies to abortion.
Today, Andy Schlafly discusses details of the case and the huge victory for
patients, physicians, and First Amendment rights. In addition to his work with
Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, Andy is also General Council for the Association of
American Physicians and Surgeons.

Questions/Issues Discussed:
How have government entities and various medical boards interfered with our
freedom of speech rights in recent years? Andy gives some examples and explains
the case recently before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Various medical licensing boards have threatened to withhold or revoke board
certifications if a physician speaks out in opposition to issues such as
abortion or transgender therapy/medications. Without board certifications, is in
nearly impossible to practice medicine?
Why did the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and other medical
organizations take action via a lawsuit against these specialty medical boards?
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge James Ho stated: “In America, we don’t fear
disagreement – we embrace it. We persuade – we don’t punish. We engage in
conversation – not cancellation”. Does this statement set a precedent for other
cases?
Are many physicians hesitant to speak out in fear of medical boards revoking
their board certifications?
Do Americans have a long way to go to end improper censorship of viewpoints?
Andy says: “The public should be aware of this… This is the final frontier… We
need to defend the right to speak freely and hear others speak freely.”

Title: Will SCOTUS Protect Christians or Throw them Under the Bus?
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Bruce Hausknecht
with Focus on the Family www.Family.org
Bruce Hausknecht is the Judicial Analyst for Focus on the
Family and a writer for the Daily Citizen. Today, Bruce discusses a case regarding the free speech rights of a web-designer.

Daily Citizen.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Does our Constitution protect the LGBTQ graphic artist who doesn’t want to create websites which condemn same-sex marriage?
Does our Constitution protect the Democrat artist who doesn’t want to create posters promoting the Republican platform?
Does our Constitution protect the Muslim calligrapher who doesn’t want to write flyers promoting Christianity?
If the First Amendment protects them, shouldn’t it be a two-way street and protect Christians, also?
Who is Lori Smith? How could the results of her case affect every American – especially Christians?

Title: Who Defines Misinformation?
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Dr. Jane Orient
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)
Shortly after Elon Musk bought Twitter, promising more freedom, the
Biden Administration announced a new government agency to “protect”
Americans and the world from harmful disinformation, especially about the COVID
pandemic.
Dr. Jane Orient has served as the Executive Director for the Association of
American Physicians and Surgeons since 1989. Dr. Orient is also president of
Doctors for Disaster Preparedness. She is a frequent guest on the What’s UP
Radio Program.
Today, Dr. Orient discusses who exactly reports the misinformation we hear so
much about and how these people are quite literally threatening our freedom of
speech in America.
Click here to read more on
this topic from Dr. Jane Orient.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Does Joe Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board resemble Orwell’s
Ministry of
Truth from his book, “1984”?
Historically, has there been a precedent for disregarding the First Amendment,
our right to free speech?
Did President Woodrow Wilson suppress information about the raging 1918
influenza pandemic which the US Supreme Court upheld? Dr. Orient explains that
Wilson even demanded that the Librarian of Congress report the names of those
who ordered certain books!
During the COVID Pandemic, was information controlled by just a few? Were
“everyday Americans” allowed to question their science? Dr. Orient references
the book “A Plague Upon Our House”
by Scott Atlas.
Is our freedom to seek knowledge being increasingly constrained?
Dr. Orient recently wrote about the dangers of combining government enforcement
powers with private corporations’ wealth and immunity. Why does she believe that
this “public-private partnership” is a formula for medical tyranny?

Title: Protecting our First Amendment Rights
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Bruce Hausknecht
with Focus on the Family www.Family.org
Thanks to Conservative appointments by President Donald Trump, the First Amendment is making a comeback at the Supreme Court, evidenced by their recent decision to strike down California’s church limitations during the pandemic.
Bruce Hausknecht is the Judicial Analyst at Focus on the Family. Today he discusses why we must keep fighting the Left.
You can read more on this issue
here.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Did the Supreme Court finally rule against the State and for churches – granting permission for them to associate within their four walls?
Did our Founding Fathers have spiritual wisdom when placing fences around future governments in their effort to protect our God-given rights? Bruce mentions how the Canadian government is putting literal fences around churches in an attempt to keep people from worshipping during the pandemic. This is outrageous!
Are Secularists that worship g.o.v.e.r.n.m.e.n.t. attempting this same thing in America? Are they also attempting to fine and jail pastors and elders – here in America?
The King James Version, as well as others, explicitly and directly speaks out against homosexual behavior, as well as other abominations. Are Secularists that worship g.o.v.e.r.n.m.e.n.t. labeling such words as hate speech in their desire to ban speaking out against such abominations?
Do Christians need to stand firm and fight the Left? Do too many sit down, not wanting to stir the pot?
What other pro-life/pro-family First Amendment Rights issues are at stake over the next few years?

Title: Democrats Want More Cake!
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Dr. Mitch Land
with Regent University (www.Regent.edu)
Oh come on! I thought that I had heard just about everything, and I am a firm
supporter of the 7th Amendment, but this just takes the cake!
A black editor has
sued People Magazine for catering to white people.
Dr. Mitch Land is the Dean of Communications at Regent University. He shares
that People Magazine had to downsize and a black editor was released from
employment. She is now claiming that People Magazine is racist because they
don’t write enough stories about black people.
Dr. Land explains how magazines, entertainment shows, and newspapers do
extensive surveys to determine who their audience is. He is also doubtful that a
judge would rule in favor of this woman because it is in direct violation of the
Constitution.

Title: Is Your Personal Life Really Personal?
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Travis Barham
with Alliance Defending Freedom (www.AllianceDefendingFreedom.org)
Part 1 of 3
As an atheist, Dr. Mike Adams frequently received accolades from his
colleagues at the University of North Carolina – Willington. Dr. Adams was hired
as an assistant professor in 1993 and promoted him to associate professor in
1998.
However, after his conversion to Christianity in 2000, things turned ugly. Dr.
Adams’ new faith impacted his views on political and social issues.
Subsequently, the university subjected Adams to a campaign of academic
persecution that culminated in his denial of promotion to full professor,
despite an award-winning record of teaching, research, and service.
Listen in as Travis Barham, with Alliance Defending Freedom, discusses a recent
court decision in Dr. Adams’ favor.

Title: Part 2 of 3
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Travis Barham
with Alliance Defending Freedom (www.AllianceDefendingFreedom.org)
Dr. Mike Adams was a frequent
blogger even before he became a Christian. He was always praised for his work
and often asked to give his opinion on various issues facing our nation. He was
well-respected.
When Dr. Adams became a born-again Christian, he continued to offer his opinion
– but from a very different point of view. His employers at UNC-Wilmington were
not pleased.
The jury hearing his discrimination case agreed that “an accomplished
professor’s religious and political views is no grounds for denying him a
promotion.”

Title: Part 3 of 3
Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Travis Barham
with Alliance Defending Freedom (www.AllianceDefendingFreedom.org)
The U.S. Court of
Appeals for the 4th Circuit wrote in 2011 that “no individual loses his
ability to speak as a private citizen by virtue of public employment.”
Dr. Adams’ columns addressed
topics such as academic freedom, civil rights, campus culture, sex, feminism,
abortion, homosexuality, religion, and morality. Such topics plainly touched on
issues of public, rather than private, concern.
This verdict is a huge victory for all Christians. For more on this and other
issues facing our nation, log on to

Topic: First Amendment Rights
Discussed by Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt
with Pray In Jesus Name (www.PrayInJesusName.org)
Part 1 of 3
If you are a man or woman in the military, you might want to think twice before you say “I will pray for you”, or “God bless you”, or try to witness. You might face a court martial! Obama’s military spokesman says, “You shall surely not…”
Didn’t the devil convince Eve by using the word “not”…?
