Title: SCOTUS Strikes Down Biden/Harris Title IX Rewrite
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Mary Elizabeth Castle
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
The Biden/Harris Education Department attempted to redefine sex,
turning back the clock on equal opportunity for females and threatened their
safety and privacy. Thankfully, the US Supreme Court said NOPE.
Today, Mary Elizabeth Castle gives an update on the US Supreme Court’s decision
and where we go from here. Mary Elizabeth Castle is the Director of Government

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why aren’t there reports of females wanting to compete on male sports teams?
Would the Education Department’s new rules force schools to allow males who
claim to identify as female to enter girls’ private spaces such as restrooms,
locker rooms, and showers? Mary Elizabeth Castle reveals that it would also
allow males to steal college scholarships from females.
Would the Education Department’s new rules force schools to allow males to
participate in girls’ physical education classes and play on girls’ sports
teams?
Under the proposed Title IX rewrite, would students and teachers be required to
use preferred pronouns under threat of criminal penalties? Mary Elizabeth
reveals that the rule would brand any school as “unsafe” if a student or teacher
received a reprimand for not using “preferred pronouns”.

Would these new rules allow schools to hide gender transitions of minors from
parents?
Would these new rules create an offense of sexual harassment for using wrong
pronoun?
Would these new rules force schools to provide information to kids of all ages
about access to abortion? Mary Elizabeth gives all the details about this

At Texas Values, they believe that “minds can be changed
easily, frequently, and convincingly, but bodies are immutable”.
Furthermore, they challenge the false argument that a child’s body must be
brought into conformity with a child’s mind, stating it is a “false

modification in Texas? Jonathan Covey explains that from time to time, Texas
children need to be protected from a parent, guardian, and/or misguided medical

Title: Drag Queen Court Ruling: Judge Allows Sexual Performances in Front of Kids
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Jonathan Covey
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young
children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to
understand.
On September 26, 2023, Federal Judge David Hittner out of Houston ruled that the
state’s new law protecting kids from sexualized performances is an
“unconstitutional restriction on speech”. Hittner further stated: “Not all
people will like or condone certain performances. This is no different than a
person’s opinion on certain comedy or genres of music.”
Texas Values Director of Policy Jonathan Covey disagrees wholeheartedly with
Judge Hittner’s decision. Today, Jonathan gives more details about the case and
what we all must do going forward to protect our kids.
Click
here to read more details on this interview from Jonathan Covey.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What was the purpose and goal of SB12 the “Stop Drag Queen Shows for Kids Bill”?
Did drag queens argue before the Federal Judge that their performances are
“art”?
Did drag queens argue before the Federal Judge that SB12 violated their First
Amendment rights, claiming that they have the right to perform in front of
minors? Jonathan explains why he believes that this case could wind up being
heard by the United States Supreme Court, saying: “There is no such thing as a
kid-friendly drag show.” He then gives a short law lesson on why obscenity is
not protected under the First Amendment.
What are “time, place, and manner restrictions”?
How will Judge Hittner’s ruling effect SB12 before it is heard before the 5th
Circuit Court of Appeals? What if the 5th Circuit rules against Judge Hittner?
The battle to protect our children is far from over. What can we do to protect
them? Jonathan says: “We know that this kind of stimuli… has a detrimental
effect going into teenage years and early adulthood… it increases the chances
for anxiety and for depression… We have a duty as individuals to make sure kids
are protected.”

Title: Texas Children Deserve Protection from the Radical LGBTQ Agenda
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Mary Elizabeth Castle
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
The US District Court for the Western District of Texas in Austin recently heard opening arguments in a case regarding explicit and pornographic books being placed in the children’s sections of the Llano Public Library.
Mary Elizabeth Castle, the Director of Government Relations for Texas Values, has more details about this case.

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Do Texas Children deserve protection from sexual indoctrination and radical agendas?
Who is responsible for the placement of these extremely harmful and inappropriate books in the children’s section at the Llano Public Library? Mary reveals that the books were recommended by the ultra-liberal
American Library Association. NOTE: Click
here to view the list of recommended books by the
ALA.
Why is this case being heard in a Federal District Court instead of a State District Court?
The books that parents and grandparents want removed from the children’s section at the Llano Public Library can be compared to triple X-rated pornographic material. Would the library allow young children (or even teenagers) to easily access Penthouse or Playboy?
Did the former librarian of the Llano Public Library voluntarily remove the extremely harmful and inappropriate books from the children’s section? Mary explains that the majority of people wanted to quietly handle the situation; however, a handful of angry citizens have now sued the county in retaliation. She goes on to discuss other details of the case and why many citizens believe the books should not have been purchased with taxpayer money period.

Under the Texas Heartbeat Bill, who are the enforcers? Jonathan explains that it is a “civil enforcement mechanism” and this is different than any other abortion law in the country. He goes on to discuss a question the 5th Federal Circuit Court has raised regarding the bill.
How many babies has the Texas Heartbeat Bill saved?
How many abortion clinics have closed their doors since the Texas Heartbeat Bill went into effect?
What is this latest challenge now before the Texas Supreme Court? Jonathan explains that abortion doctors and abortion advocates are concerned about state licensing providers being sued.

Title: Texas Dems: Absent Again
Topic: Texas Politics
Discussed by Jonathan Covey
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
The second Texas Special Session began on Saturday, August 7, 2021 and the Texas Democrats are still AWOL. Will they ever show back up to work?
Jonathan Covey is the Director of Policy at Texas Values, the largest statewide non-profit organization dedicated to standing for faith, family, and freedom in Texas. Today, he discusses some of the issues on the agenda for the second Texas Special Session and if the Democrats decide to do their job.
Click

Texas Values.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What was the outcome of the Health and Human Service Texas Senate committee meeting concerning boys in girls’ sports? Does the Senate bill include college sports, or just middle/high school sports?
What has Governor Abbott addressed concerning this issue – specifically at the college level? Why won’t he allow it to be debated?
The Texas Democrats have filed suit claiming they have a Constitutional right to boycott going to work. Does their argument hold water?
Have Texas Republicans ever left the state, refusing to work and costing tax-payers money?
HINT: Nope.
One item that must be addressed and resolved during this second Special Session is redistricting. However, accomplishing this task also relies on the latest Census information, which has not been released yet. When will this be released and can an agreement be made without the Texas Democrats in office? Will a THIRD Special Session be required? How will this affect future elections?

Title: Texas Heartbeat Act Being Challenged by Planned Parenthood
Topic: Pro-Life Issues
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Planned Parenthood and a host of other Texas pro-abortion
organizations filed a lawsuit against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Texas
district judges, Texas Health and Human Services, and others regarding the Texas
Heartbeat Act (SB8), which prohibits abortions after the detection of the
preborn baby’s heartbeat.
Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values, has more details about this ground-breaking, first-of-its-kind
Heartbeat Act and the ridiculous lawsuit against it. Jonathan calls the bullying attempt a “baseless scare tactic with no legal footing”.
Click
here for more on this from Jonathan and Texas Values.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Will SB8 hold up under judicial review?
Is SB8 a novel approach to reducing the number of abortions? Jonathan explains why he believes it is a “wise approach”.
How can a private citizen possibly know if a woman is going to get an abortion after her baby’s heartbeat has been detected? How can a private citizen possibly know if a doctor is going to perform an abortion on a baby who has a heartbeat? How can a private citizen prove that the baby has a beating heart?
Bottom Line: If the Texas Heartbeat Act stands, will it save babies?

Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to understand.
A number of states across the nation have already passed laws to keep men out of women’s sports.
The Fair Play Act, HB 1458 by State Rep. Valoree Swanson, seeks to protect female athletic opportunities from being hijacked by biological males.
However, HB1458 has yet to receive a hearing in the Texas House State Affairs Committee. Why???
Mary Elizabeth Castle urges everyone to email Representative Chris Paddie (the Chairman of the committee) to voice your support of HB1458

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Is this really a serious issue in public schools in Texas and across the nation? Or are people blowing it out of proportion?
Why should people call Representative Chris Paddie’s office?
Valoree Swanson’s bill has 76 coauthors, indicating enough support to pass the House. Why is Chris Paddie stalling the vote out of committee? Is he being pressured by Big Corporations?
Is it important to be polite when emailing/calling Chris Paddie’s office?

It is sad that the war on Christmas has necessitated a “Merry

Topic: Views I cannot Show on the Playground
Discussed by David Walls
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Part 1 of 3
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to understand.
Austin ISD has adopted a horrific, graphic, disgusting sex education program. Many, many parents are appalled and are protesting the material.
Even if you don’t live in Austin ISD, you MUST pay attention to these segments. The homosexual agenda is alive in each and every public school district in Texas.
David Walls, Vice President of Texas Values, has more details.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Could the same sex education material being distributed to Austin ISD school-age children be handed out by parents on the playground?
Why did David and other leaders copy images from the material to distribute to parents?
NOTE: The curriculum is over 1,100 pages long!!! Why? Is this to discourage parents from reading all the material before it is given to their children?
How long does it take to inculcate children in sex education?
How many Austin ISD school board members voted in favor of this radical sex education material?
David Wells doesn’t believe that any of the board members even read the material. “This is weaponizing education that is in direct conflict of most parents and families.,” David says. Listen as he explains why…

Title: The Transgender Debate: Are Children Too Young?
Topic: Transgender Agenda

with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Part 1 of 2
You have probably heard about James Younger, the 7-year-old boy
whose mother wants him to chemically castrate him in order so she can have a “daughter”.
The father, who is divorced from the child’s mother, absolutely objects to this medical procedure. Thank goodness, the Judge has ruled BOTH parents must agree to all medical procedures, and the Texas Attorney General’s Office has intervened, as well.
Mary Elizabeth Castle is a Policy Advisor for Texas Values. She says: “Children should not be forced to undergo life-altering and dangerous gender transitions. This is a victory for parental rights and common sense.”
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Can a 7-year-old sign a marriage certificate, have an abortion, sign a binding contract, or direct a doctor to perform a tonsillectomy?
Why is it important to know that James’ mom and dad are divorced? Does it matter if one, or both of the parents, may be homosexual?
Did the parents opt for a Judge or jury trial? Was the mom or dad asking for full custody?

Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around
young children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to

Drag Queen Story Time is typically a hyper-sexualized event marketed and used to
entice young children, ages 3-5, where a man dressed as a woman reads stories
which promote exploring topics of sexuality and transgender issues. Many of the
readers also perform at homosexual adult venues. Some of the readers have even
been known to hold the children in their laps during the event. In Houston, two
of the volunteers were convicted of sexual abuse against minors.
Jonathan Saenz, with Texas Values, obviously has some major concerns
over these Drag Queen Story Hours. What are you thoughts? Send us comments
here.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why are those with a Christ/Biblical centered worldview often called “haters”?
Are parents and grandparents commanded to protect children in their care from
sexual predators?
Is society today elevating evil to a status of good?
What is the danger in allowing Drag Queens access to read to and to physically
touch children during Story Time in public libraries?
Are parents just unaware that these type of events are going on? Or are they
turning a blind eye in the name of “tolerance”?

Topic: Criminalize Actions of Christians
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz

Left-wing legislators have formed Texas' first "LGBTQ Caucus"
promising a "transformative" and "strategic" agenda.
This includes proposed laws that would attack people of faith so aggressively, we can legitimately describe them as “Ban the Bible” bills.
Jonathan Saenz, the President of Texas Values, has an important update for us today. Pay close attention!
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What is the goal of Texas’ first LGBTQ Caucus?
Are they really trying to “Ban the Bible”? Is this literal or figurative?
Would Christian counselors be punished for simply having a Bible visible in their office?
Depending on where their church service is held, would some pastors be punished for preaching about certain sins, such as homosexuality? This is a loaded question with a complicated answer. Listen close!
Do they want to remove the words "Mother" and "Father" from Texas birth certificates?
Is the homosexual agenda becoming out of control?
Would Christians in Texas who do not comply face fines, jail time, or other criminal charges?

In a major victory for Texas Values and Houston taxpayers, a federal
judge has once again rejected the City of Houston’s efforts to transfer a
lawsuit over the illegal benefits it provides to same-sex couples into federal
court.
Jonathon Saenz and Texas Values are representing the taxpayers of
Houston for FREE on this case. If you would like to make a tax deductible

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Former Houston Mayor Annise Parker attempted to pull the wool over taxpayer’s
eyes and allow same-sex couples to receive the same benefits as legally married
couples. Would this cost tax-payers money?
When the taxpayers discovered this, what did they demand?
How many times has the City of Houston lost this court battle since 2013?
Is the City of Houston wasting taxpayer funds in their efforts to win this case?
NOTE: The last judge has ruled that the COH must pay the defendant’s court fees!
When will they stop?
What is an “amicus brief”? How many people have filed one or signed one on
behalf of the Houston taxpayers?

You can listen to Jonathon Saenz on 1120 AM The Bridge in Austin every Saturday at NOON.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What is fetal dismemberment and why was it outlawed in Texas? Jonathon is very graphic in his response, so use caution.
Are abortion supporters suing the state of Texas to ALLOW this horrible practice to become law once again?
In states where fetal dismemberment is permitted, do women specifically request a different procedure?
Are former abortionists ideal spokespeople for the Pro-Life movement?
Has SB8 been instrumental in drastically reducing the number of abortions in Texas over the last few years?
Are Pro-Lifers too radical concerning this issue?

Title: Where Have All the Republicans Gone?
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young
children. Issues discussed might be upsetting or hard for little ones to
understand.
While we were all distracted by the killing of a gorilla in order to save a
young boy’s life, Congress was doing the unthinkable – again. Last week, over 40
Republicans in the U.S. House joined with Democrats to allow the passage of a
dangerous amendment from Rep. Sean Maloney (D-NY) to an appropriations bill. The
amendment would place into law President Obama's radical LGBT agenda and punish
those who try to exercise their religious freedom. Thank goodness only one lone
Texas Republican – Rep. Will Hurd (CD 23 - San Antonio) – voted IN FAVOR of the
Maloney Amendment.
Jonathan Saenz is an attorney and President of Texas Values. He is here
today to discuss the seriousness of the Maloney Amendment.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What does “gender identification” mean and why has it become a “class
classification”?
What should Christians do this November? Should we vote? Stay home? Vote third
party? This is a tough, tough decision and Jonathan Saenz has some suggestions.
One resource is the Texas Values Free
Voter’s Guide website.
The LGBTQ agenda is attempting to force communities to implement “all sex
bathrooms” through different legislation. The latest city in Texas is
Mesquite. Listen in as Jonathan gives details about this case; it’s not just
about the bathroom anymore.
How did we get here? Can we reverse it?

Title: What Will be the End to this Game?
Topic: Marriage and the Church
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Now that the Supreme Court has
issued its ruling in favor of same-sex marriage, the left says it’s time for us
Conservative Christians to just get over it. Move on because, after all, it’s a
non-issue, they say. Well, no. We won’t “move on” and we most certainly will not
just “get over it”.
The left doesn’t want equality; they want superiority. But that is never gonna
happen. They started it and we plan to finish it – and finish it strong – in
support of traditional marriage as God intended it to be. We haven’t backed down
during the last 42 years since Roe vs Wade. We haven’t stopped fighting the
murder of millions upon millions of innocent babies just because we’ve lost a
few battles here and there. What makes them think we’ll just give up now?
Jonathan Saenz is a Christian attorney. He says, “It’s not only a hollow
argument, it’s very presumptuous and intolerant…When you shut Americans out of
the system, they will respond vigorously.” He goes on to discuss why it’s so
important that government employees continue to have the right to work in a
peaceful, non-threatening environment where they can make decision based on
their religious convictions. This is America and the 1st Amendment still stands.
The Supreme Court decision does not change that fact.
“We’re seeing the true colors of the homosexual advocates and it’s not the
rainbow flag,” Jonathan points out. It’s the color of intolerance and
restricting religious freedom. The homosexual mafia has been crying for decades
about their 1st Amendment rights being trampled on. Now that they have won a
small victory, they want to strip away the 1st Amendment rights from everyone
who doesn’t agree with them. So, in reality, they have created more conflict!

Title: Faith, Family, and Freedom
Topic: Same-Sex Marriage and the Church
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz

Texas – where we stand for faith in God, family, and freedom to
worship and to practice our religious faith at church, at home, and in the
market place. Jonathon Saenz, President of Texas Values,
discusses HB3567, filed by Representative Scott Sanford (R-McKinney). HB3567
protects the religious freedom rights of pastors, clergy, and churches in Texas
relating to marriage. HB3567 makes also ensures that the government cannot use
civil or criminal action as a means of punishment on this issue.
There is a lot of alarm across the state of Texas and the nation concerning
same-sex marriage. We’ve seen the government force business owners to provide
their service to same-sex couples against their religious beliefs. We’ve seen
the Mayor of Houston threaten to subpoena pastors’ sermons concerning the issue.
Many wonder what the government will do next.
The strength of the family is the core of our religious freedom. It is very
important for churches, pastors, and members to pay attention to the legislature
and what bills are introduced concerning religious freedom, specifically
concerning same-sex marriage. Jonathon Saenz says, “Some bills can be used
as weapons against religious freedom.” He believes it is vital to stay
informed and stay involved.

Title: The Unthinkable in Texas
Topic: Gay Agenda
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young children.
Issues discussed might be upsetting or hard for little ones to understand.
Plano, Texas – yes, PLANO – has done the unimaginable. They have bowed to the
LGBT radicals and have passed a Peeping Tom Law, like Houston and San Antonio
have recently.
Some of the issues on the LGBT Wish List from 1972: Repeal the legal restriction
on the sex or number of people entering a marriage. Repeal all laws governing
transvestitism and cross-dressing. Release of ALL sexual offenders incarcerated
for crimes related to sexual orientation. Repeal all age of consent laws.
Federal funding for all homosexual organizations and advocacy groups. Sex
education in public schools should be presented by homosexuals advocating their
lifestyle as the preferred way of life.
Listen in as Jonathan Saenz discusses these issues and what could happen to your
community, state, and the nation if the LGBT radicals continue to be successful.
And what Plano? What does the new law in Plano allow?

log on to www.NoUNEqualRights.com to see how you can help gather signatures this
week.
If you live outside the city limits, we need your help, too! We need you to
pray. Cover the workers with prayer daily. Pray for their safety and health.
Pray that God will use them to touch others.
Future generations depend on the outcome of this petition drive. If we do not
gather enough signatures, the people will not be allowed to vote on this
ordinance in November. It might take years and years, even decades, to reverse
the damage that Lesbian Mayor Annise Parker has polluted our city with.

Do Mayor’s in Texas really have the power to sign Executive Orders?
Why is the Texas Attorney General involved?
Should the federal case be thrown out?

Title: The Merry Christmas Law
Topic: Merry Christmas Law
Discussed by Jonathan Saenz

The Merry Christmas Law has
already helped one school district this Christmas season. A PTA email in Frisco
ISD sought to ban a “reference to Christmas or any other religious holiday” and
“no red/green or Christmas trees.” When this news arrived at the office of Texas
State Rep Pat Fulton, quick action was taken to remedy the mistake.
Students, teachers, administrators, and parents have the right to say “Merry
Christmas” and to use what decorations they want to. In case questions should
arise, download a summary of the law to have on hand at

Discussed by Jonathan Saenz

We may never know the entire inventory of the backpacks carried by the
protesters. But one thing is perfectly clear: good vs. evil was on display for
all to witness.
During the Holocaust, one church was near the railroad tracks. As the train
would come by during church services, to mask the screams of Jews on their way
to the death-camps, those inside the church ‘just sang louder’.
Never forget what happened in Austin recently during the passage of the Pro-Life
bill. Evil was on display for all to see and to witness. What are you doing to
