Title: Back to School – For Parents
Topic: Book Review
Discussed by Jeff Johnson
with One News Now (www.OneNewsNow.com)
Part 1 of 3
Parents: What you “think” you know about your child’s
education curriculum is probably far from what is actually being taught in the
classroom.
Jeff Johnston is the Culture and Policy Analyst at Focus on the Family. He has written a new book:
“Back to School – For Parents”. Click
here to download your FREE copy.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Do many educators have a deep faith in God? Are the majority of teachers hardworking and dedicated to their profession?
Must faith-based parents realize that many legislators and education professionals have a social and political agenda that is antagonistic toward Christianity? Bottom line: They are at war with our biblical views.
Why did Jeff write “Back to School – For Parents”?

Title: Muzzling the Right While Expanding the Wrong
Topic: Homosexual Agenda
Discussed by Jeff Johnson
with One News Now (www.OneNewsNow.com)
Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young
children. Issues discussed may be upsetting or hard for little ones to
understand.
According to a recent
Daily Citizen article, the California Senate passed a
resolution telling all Californians, “especially its counselors, pastors,
religious workers, educators, and legislators”, how to respond to LGBTQ
matters.
Jeff Johnston has more details about this anti-religious resolution and the
implications it will have for years to come. Jeff works as an Issues Analyst for
Focus on the Family, writing and teaching about marriage, homosexuality
and gender, as well as encouraging and equipping Christians to engage the
culture on these issues.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Do LGBTQ bullies blame Christians for their “problems”? Is there proof
that Christians are to blame? HINT: Nope.
Is there statistically higher rates of suicide, attempted suicide, depression,
rejection, and isolation amongst LGBTQ and questioning individuals when compared
to heterosexuals?
Is this recent coercion from the LGBTQ just a small example of the attacks on
religious freedom?
Are these attacks scripted right out of George Orwell’s book 1984?

Title: Females Have Rights, Too
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Jeff Johnson
with One News Now (www.OneNewsNow.com)
Would you continue to work for a company if their practices violated
your personal or religious beliefs? If not, then why would you
still support a company with your hard-earned money if they did the same?
Jeff Johnston will be reviewing material concerning transgender bathroom laws,
as well as offering encouragement and resources for parents regarding this
issue.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Not too long ago, the Director of the Atlanta American Civil Liberties Union,
Maya Dillard-Smith, challenged her superiors over the “equal bathroom rights”
issue. Listen in as Jeff Johnston relates the situation she encountered and what
happened next.
Is it better for parents to talk to their children now, before an uncomfortable
situation occurs?
Are transgenders taking advantage of these laws, or are sexual predators more
likely to prey on innocent children?
Why the sudden push for equal rights for the LGBTQ community?
Focus on the Family has some family-friendly articles concerning this
issue. Click
here for more information.
