Title: The Difference Between D’s and R’s
Topic: Difference Between R’s and D’s
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick discusses why the upcoming election is so important.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What is the difference between the Democrats and Republicans?
DID YOU KNOW? For the first time in Texas history, a Hispanic Republican was elected into the Texas Senate on September 18 in a Special Election. This district has been dominated by Democrats since 1879!
Do the majority of Hispanics really align with the Republican Party, yet still vote Democrat?
Are Democrats in Texas trying to copy California? Is this good or bad? HINT: It’s not good!
Why should you take someone with you to vote – or at least nag them until they do?!
Why is Texas eliminating straight-party voting in 2020? NOTE: The November 2018 Election will still have straight-party voting.

Title: Why Vote Straight Ticket?
Topic: Elections Matter
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Texas is the most Conservative state in the Union. We need to keep
it that way. Listen in as Lt. Governor Dan Patrick encourages all
Texas Republicans to vote Straight Ticket.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why are so many Republicans hesitant to vote “down ballot Republican”? “When
you don’t vote for someone you don’t know, you wind up electing a liberal who
you don’t like,” Lt. Governor Patrick states.
More often than not, an elected Republican official will vote according to the
Party Platform. Does this help the voter understand what a person really stands
for?

Title: The President Wants to Control Your Kids through the Bathroom
Topic: Transgender Agenda
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
What once was taboo is now everyday conversation. How did we get here?
When Lt. Governor Dan Patrick started his sports broadcasting radio show, women journalists weren’t even allowed in the men’s locker rooms – which, in my opinion, is how it should be, and vice versa! Now, here we are, talking about the “importance” of allowing boys into the girl’s locker room because of a perverted mental illness called “transgenderism”.
The LGBTQ community has told Dan that he needs to stay out of “local issues”. What?!? He is the Lt. Governor of Texas! His job is to help ALL Texans! Yes, local control is important and vital to the survival of government. However, when the vote has been taken away from the people by someone who absolutely has no right, that’s where he must step in on behalf of the people.
One teacher said to Lt. Governor Dan Patrick: “We have enough problems keeping the boys straight in the boy’s room! We surely don’t need to mingle them!”
Dan goes on to explain what the Superintendent of the school district in Ft. Worth did and why it is illegal. This issue is much, much larger than just a little boy or even a teen boy wanting to use the girl’s bathroom and locker room. That is really bad enough, but the real agenda is even scarier. There have been transgender students in schools for years and this issue has never been a problem. It’s only now that the President has stuck his nose in middle that we are even discussing it.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has asked all the Superintendents in Texas to stand down and fight back against Obama, who says he will withhold Federal funding from any public school which refuses to follow his new “guideline” for transgender students. “We will not be blackmailed with 30 pieces of silver,” Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has stated over and over again.
Pray for our country, for peace to spread throughout the people. Pray for our leaders, that they will turn away from this wickedness. Pray for parents who are abusing their children with “transgender” ideology. Pray for the students who are confused and troubled by this, that they will receive the help and love they need.
The LGBTQ community has gotten out of control. They must be reined in now or we may never stop them.

Title: Israel’s Importance to Texas and The United States
Topic: Israel
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Part 1 of 2
The relationship between Texas and Israel is strong. If only President Obama could have as much confidence in this amazing country! Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick recently traveled to Israel with six other Lt. Governors for three reasons:
1) Economic development – Texas does half a billion dollars in exports with Israel
2) Visit with the Prime Minister and other key leaders in Israel – focus on the geo-politics and terrorism
3) Tour historical sights – Dan Patrick even got baptized in the Jordan River!
Dan acknowledges the importance of building strong ties with Israel and keeping them solid. He recalls the experience meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of his heroes. “When I look at the great leaders of my lifetime,” Dan says, “Netanyahu is right there at the top four or five.”
Listen in as he discusses more about the meeting, The Golden Heights, their safety, and the amazing events which he and others witnessed while in Israel.

Topic: Israel
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick

In the first segment, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick talked about the
importance of the relationship between Israel and not only Texas, but all of the
United States. He goes into further detail in this segment,
discussing the oil and gas industry in connection with Israel. Lone Star

around the world about oil and gas issues, which is aiding Israel in their
exploration. Listen in as Dan reveals how this is evolving.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick also goes into further detail in this second segment
about the spiritual impact his recent visit to Israel had on him. Obviously,
being baptized in the Jordan was the highlight of the trip, but he also was
affected by visiting the Western Wall and the Upper Room. He says he definitely
feels differently after visiting Israel. In fact, he stated: “I feel like I
went to my real home – the one before Heaven.”
Dan also reveals in this interview that he considering writing a second book!

Title: Pray. Give. Go.
Topic: Presidential Politics
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Dan Patrick is not only the Texas Lt. Governor, he is also the Texas Chair for the Cruz for President Campaign. He joins us today to give an update on what is happening within the campaign and what you can do to ensure that a true, honest leader is elected President of the United States this November.
First, the Lt. Governor goes over some of the important facts and figures from Super Tuesday. Also, “If you add up all the Primaries, Donald Trump has received thirty-two percent of the vote and Ted Cruz has received twenty-eight percent of the vote,” Dan points out. That close number is very important and Dan explains why.
There are still several key caucuses and Primary Elections in coming weeks. Should Rubio (who is not far behind) and Kasich (who is really far behind) drop out of the race and let Trump and Cruz duke it out? Listen in as Dan discusses this as well.
So, what can you do to help? Pray. Give. Go. Please continue to pray for Ted
Cruz and his family; being in the spotlight like this is not easy. There are
long days and short nights. To help financially and to sign up to volunteer your

Title: Analyzing the President’s Gun Speech
Topic: Gun Control
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick discusses President Obama’s gun speech he
gave this past Tuesday. He says, “There is a focus on
controlling guns in America, but it won’t change the fact that the more
American’s protect themselves, the more crime goes down.” In fact,
statistics show that more people than ever are buying guns! Obama appears to be
the best salesman for the gun lobbyists! Listen in as Dan Patrick explains this
opinion that many have…
Fact: In 2000, only 35% of Americans felt they needed a gun to protect
their family; today over 63% feel they need a gun!
Dan also discusses the incredible increase in the amount of women who are
seeking gun permits. It is much, much higher than men! The number of people in
urban areas buying guns is always increasing. Why are they so concerned?
Obama’s crazy gun-control ideas won’t stop when his term as President is over.
Hillary has promised to take his agenda even further if she is elected! We

Every other year, in odd years, the Texas Legislature offers

Voting has already begun on this year’s seven Constitutional
Amendments, which every registered voter can vote for or against, in addition to
city and county elections and bonds.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick encourages every registered voter to vote early in this

Legislature and he encourages people to vote in favor of each of them.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick also wants to warn people to be cautious when voting
because it can be confusing with so many different “Prop 1’s” to choose from! He

Title: Are Pastors Really Safe?
Topic: Pastor Protection Act
Discussed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
During the recent
Legislative Session, the Texas Senate passed SB2065, known as the Pastor
Protection Act, which is designed to protect pastors who do not wish to
reside over same-sex marriages. This seems like a ridiculous issue, but
it was necessary Legislation. The homosexual mafia is already ten steps ahead of
us; we need to stop “strategizing” and do something – now.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and others are on the run
after the LGBT crowd. In fact, Paxton has issued a statement regarding the
issue. But, was it enough? Will Paxton’s statement be effective in protecting
pastors and government employees? There has been some confusion over his
statement. Listen in as Lt. Governor Patrick gives his opinion…
“This is more than just about marriage. This is about undermining religious
liberty for everyone on a number of levels,” Patrick says. Will our 1st
Amendment rights stand or be trampled into the ground? Lt. Governor isn’t going to back down; he isn’t going anywhere. He will stay vigilant and vows to protect traditional marriage with all his might.
This is the exact wording from Attorney General Ken Paxton: “County clerks and their employees retain religious freedoms that may provide accommodation of their religious objections to issuing same-sex marriage licenses. Justices of the peace and judges also may claim that the government forcing them to conduct same sex wedding ceremonies over their religious objections, particularly when other authorized individuals have no objection to conducting such ceremonies, is not the least restrictive means of furthering any compelling governmental interest in ensuring that such ceremonies occur. Importantly, the strength of any particular religious accommodation claim depends on the particular facts of each case.”

Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Senator Patrick
explains why he believes some Democrats in the Texas Senate now believe they are
losing the debate with Texas voters on the Pro-Life Bill.
Voters overwhelming oppose late-term abortions. Voters favor the safety of women
who do choose abortion. Voters favor the passage of the Pro-Life Bill and the
longer it is debated, the more voters understand that the Republicans are doing
the right thing by passing this bill. Listen in…

Title: Anarchy in the Texas Senate Gallery
Topic: Anarchy in the Texas Senate Gallery
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Anarchy is an awful thing. And that’s what happened recently in the Gallery overlooking the Texas Senate. Plain and simple: it was “Mob Rule”.
Was the mob incited by hand motions by Democrat elected officials from the floor of the Senate? Where these like linebackers waving the arms to incite the crowd?
Should America be ruled by Mob Action? Enough is enough. A simple check of two zip codes in NW Harris County reveals that nearly one-half of the homes do NOT have even one registered voter. How do you get weeds to grow in your yard? Just do nothing……

Title: The Texas Legislature Just Adjourned but the Governor Called Them Back. Why? What Happened?
Topic: Old Topic - 2012 Texas Legislative Session
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Part 1 of 3
By Texas law, the legislature can only meet for 140 days every 2 years. Would
it be better if they only met 2 days every 140 years? Should each session be
longer or shorter?
Senator Dan Patrick first discusses if Texas should change the length of the
legislative session.
Then, Senator Patrick explains how hard it is to fully discuss and vote on some
of the very difficult and important issues now facing all Texans; issues such as
the budget, transportation, education, and other issues.
Senator Patrick also explains why he voted against the budget.

Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Senator Patrick continues
discussing some of the good, some of the bad and some of ugly issues debated in
Austin during the just adjourned 83rd Texas Legislative Session.
Is Texas able to fund our roads and highways from the Texas portion of gasoline
taxes? Senator Patrick explains why we cannot.
How should we fund more highway expansion? Send us your suggestions using our
contact link on how Texas should fund highway maintenance and expansion?

Title: What about Redistricting? When will Texas have its 2014 Primaries?
Topic: Old Topic - 2012 Texas Legislative Session
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Part 3 of 3
Senator Patrick serves on the
Redistricting Committee and explains the mess we find ourselves.
Key issue: the U.S. Supreme Court is set to rule in on how redistricting must be
handled.
Even after the Court rules, the fight over the Redistricting maps will be long
and drawn out. More on this in the days, weeks and months ahead…

Title: Update on SSCOPE Straight from the Man Himelf
Topic: SSCOPE
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
Part 1 of 2
Senator Dan Patrick is very passionate about education, especially about
finding a solution to fix the broken system. He is spearheading the education
reform effort with SB1724 and is receiving a lot of grief from some lobbyists.
But he refuses to give in to their bullying, and many of his colleagues have his
back.

Title: Part 2 of 2
Topic: SSCOPE
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
One of the biggest issues Dan
Patrick and many others have with SSCOPE is the new STAAR testing system that
students are required to take. Teachers exhaust many wasted hours and days
prepping their students for the STAAR tests, with little or no results.
There is
a lot of misinformation floating around about SSCOPE and the STAAR test.
Listen
to Dan Patrick as explains the facts.

Title: What’s Next?
Topic: Politics
Discussed by Senator Dan Patrick
with Dan Patrick www.DanPatrick.org
2016 will be here
before we know it. Like always, Texas will have a big say in who
the Presidential Nominee will be. What other states will be in on the take?
The National Republican Party played the part of a bully in 2012 - telling
states when to hold their elections, where to hold meetings, even threatening
nominees if their states didn’t comply.
Should each state have the authority to act on their own or should they follow
the NRP around like lost little children?
