Washington is a textbook example of the broken regulatory process
which is turning democracy upside-down. Congress must do its job!
Pass good bills. Stop Bad Bills. And “REIN” in out-of-control bureaucrats.

Title: We Must Put an End to Unauthorized Federal Spending

The Federal Government is scheduled to spend $310 BILLION of our tax
dollars on federal programs that are not even authorized by law. Read that
again, friends. Does that make you mad? Well, it should!
Phil Kerpen, with American Commitment, will highlight the need to stop
unauthorized federal spending in this interview today. First, he explains the
difference between discretionary and mandatory funds. Some money must be spent,
whether or not Congress passes a law, such as Medicaid and Social Security.
Other funds are for the military. And then there is money that is just not
necessary at all.
Phil also reveals that many programs have exhausted their spending limit – some
are even expired – yet they keep receiving money. This is the problem. The
United States is nearly $20 TRILLION in debt. We are on the verge on bankruptcy.
There is no reason why we should continue to tolerate $310 BILLION on expired,
unauthorized programs.
Phil Kerpen believes that many members of Congress simply just don’t want to
deal with the amount of work involved with reviewing these programs, therefore
they turn a blind eye. There may hope on the horizon, though. Congresswoman
Cathy McMorris Rodgers from Washington States has introduced the
“Unauthorized Spending Accountability Act”. Listen in as Phil explains the
details of the bill and how it just might work.
The American people demand action; it’s time for Congress to buckle up, hunker
down, and get it done.

I absolutely,
categorically refuse to do what I impose on you….or so says our elected
officials in WDC. Phil Kerpen, with America Commitment,
is mad. One of the biggest issues with Obamacare is the fact that our elected
officials in WDC have opted themselves and their staff members out of the
insurance mandate which they have imposed on the rest of the American people.
How did they get around the law? Well, that’s why Phil is here today, to explain
it in laymen’s terms.
First, both the House and the Senate claimed to have less than 50 employees – 45
each, to be exact. FACT: The House has 435 members. FACT: The Senate has 100
members.
As Phil puts it: “They were cheating the American public. They were
committing fraud by filing false documents.” So, only 90 elected officials
or staff members should have signed up under the “small business exemption”.
The actual number was over 13,700.
For those thinking, “Oh, that’s ok. Each elected official has its own
office, with its own employees, and its own payroll.” Nope. Wrong. What’s
even more shocking is that when the signed declarations were actually able to be
viewed (only after litigation and a judge’s order) all the names of the
participants were blacked out! There are efforts in place to get the original
documents with all signatures, but they’ve hit some brick walls. Listen in as
Phil explains how the whole system works and more about the signed declarations.
Spoiler Alert: Rand Paul voted NO – against obtaining a
subpoena for the signatures! Phil reveals what Rand Paul’s office said as to why he voted no! You will not believe it!

What’s UP with the Keystone XL Pipeline? It’s going to pass! No, it’s not going
to pass! We’re making changes so we can start drilling! No, we’re not! One could
get whiplash trying to keep up with it all!
Phil Kerpen, the President of American Commitment, explains why it is such a
no-brainer for us to pass this legislation and start drilling and exporting oil
and gas around the globe. First of all, it is one of the most bi-partisan bills
we have seen in a long, long time. In fact, Sheila Jackson Lee and five other
Texas Democrats have voted in favor of it! That’s a miracle in and of itself!
But, will Obama have the guts to veto it if it passes?
There is one person that seems to be bankrolling the opposition to the pipeline:
Tom Steyer. Interestingly, Steyer made his BILLIONS investing in fossil fuels
abroad! Now, he is spending all his time and effort, not to mention money,
opposing the very product that made him rich!

The Democrats will never agree to fix, replace, or repeal Obamacare. They
will never admit that Obamacare is bad for the American people. They will never
tuck their tail and concede defeat. Never. They love Obamacare. They think it’s
the next best thing after sliced bread and peanut butter.
Democrats cannot be trusted. Watch what they say, not what they do. “If you like
your healthcare plan, you can keep it. If you like your doctor, you can keep
your doctor.” This was the lie of the year. Remember when Pelosi said “We have
to pass the law to know what’s in it”? That was one of my favorites.
The courts have ruled that politicians have a free pass to lie. Yep. You read
that right! All politicians at any level can lie about anything without fear of
prosecution. Now, that doesn’t give them the right to break the law, but they
can still lie about it if they did! The current administration has lied about so
many things, they can’t even keep their own lies straight anymore!
Republicans in the House have passed bill after bill after bill to replace some
of the more unpleasant parts of Obamacare. Those bills have been blocked,
ignored, or shot down nearly every single time by the Democrats in the Senate.
Phil Kerpen discusses one of these bills, which would be major benefit to
veterans of our armed forces. The House almost unanimously voted in favor of
this bill (only 1 lone Democrat voted no), yet the Senate has yet to even act!
Despicable.
So who exactly is just madly in love with Obamacare? Are there any people left
in this category? Is there hope of repealing Obamacare or just simply fixing it?

from this statement was that every American deserved healthcare coverage.

land since the Reagan administration. Everyone, regardless of ability to pay or
legal status, could receive medical care.
Yes, healthcare coverage and access to healthcare are two different things, but
they are also related. Once upon a time, America had the best healthcare system
in the world. But since Obamacare came into the picture, that is no longer the
case.

– you’re too young for a kidney transplant. Denied.

situation. His main goal is to see the whole thing completely repealed, although
he doesn’t think that is feasible any time soon.
In the meantime, Phil says that people should be offered more options through

issues being stressed in raising the minimum wage.
A recent study found that just 1.9 percent of all wage and salary earners make
the minimum wage or less.
However, the Democrats will win in the push to increase minimum wage. The
outcome will crush the young worker, the least educated, and the low skilled.
The teenage unemployment rate is still over 20 percent and the unemployment rate
for workers 20 to 24 is 11.6 percent.

increase in minimum wage would reduce employment by more than two million jobs.
Not ironically, a journalist visited a Walmart supercenter and found very little

So why bring up the issue of raising minimum wage? Because that’s how liberal,
progressive Democrats stay in power. No matter who it hurts. Not even their own

money?
Young adults in California are seeing their rates which are about $92 per month
now set to increase to at least $205 next year. My question to the young in

Renewable Fuels Standard to include making ethanol from natural gas. Have they
been jumping on some bed? Did they fall off and bump their heads? This makes no
sense unless you are a natural gas producer and your goal is to increase the

you use gasoline with a 15% mixture, it will void nearly all warranties, leaving
you to fix you engine out of your pocket. That does not sound like a good idea
