Providing healthcare to more Americans was the major selling point of Obamacare. Too many Americans didn’t have healthcare or adequate coverage, so the government “needed” to step in and provide it to them. But at what cost?

It used to be that you knew your doctor – you really knew him or her. You would chat about the kids, the weather, sports, church. Now, it’s a two-minute impersonal conversation and boom! – you’re done. There might have been four or five cars in the parking lot a few years ago; now there are dozens. What once was a five-minute wait in the reception room is now 45-minutes to an hour.

Bill says “If you add millions of new patients to a system and don’t increase the number of doctors and nurses proportionately, how does it work?” Simply put: It doesn’t. It can’t. The numbers just don’t add up.

Bill also discusses college graduates and their inability to find decent jobs – especially in the area they studied and graduated in. He says the system is just broken. These students and their parents are promised a degree with the prospect of a job straight out of college.

The problem is that there just aren’t any jobs out there for the majority of degrees students are graduating with. The retiree has a job and wants to retire but can’t because the cost of living is too high. The college graduate needs the job but can’t find one. And now we’re adding in millions of “undocumented workers” to the mix who want a job.
