Title: How Should Single Christians Respond to Wedding Invitations?
Topic: Christian Values
Discussed by Lisa Anderson
with The Boundless Show (www.boundless.org)
Many single Christians struggle this time of year.
It’s wedding season, and with friends and family members tying the knot, young
adults often face questions about wedding attendance that they haven’t
considered before.
Lisa Anderson is the host of the Boundless Show and director of Young
Adults at Focus on the Family.
Click here for help on faith,
relationships, and adulthood from Boundless.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
How should single Christians respond to wedding invitations? Lisa says that
planning ahead is key…
How should a single Christian answer the inevitable question: “When is it
your turn?”
Remember: Marriage is not the be-all-end-all. Marriage is not the biggest part
of a married person’s life. Singleness is not the biggest part of a single
person’s life. The most important thing is that you are a redeemed child of God.
How can older single Christians respond in this season?
What if there is pressure to bring a date to a wedding?
How can a single Christian budget for bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette
parties, wedding travel, and gifts? Lisa Anderson shares her own personal
experiences attending 14 weddings in the span of 18 months.

Title: Does the Truth Make a Difference?
Topic: Christian Values
Discussed by Dr. Don Boys
with Common Sense News for Today (www.cstnews.com)
A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong does not become right, and evil
doesn’t become good because it is accepted by the majority. Right
and wrong are not decided by popular vote.
Dr. Don Boys is a former member of the Indiana House of Representatives. He has
written columns for USA Today for eight years and authored over sixteen books,
including “Muslim Invasion: The Fuse is Burning”.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What is Truth and what difference does it make?
Can a lie become the Truth?
Can wrong become right?
Can right and wrong be decided by popular vote?
Did George Orwell prophecy that a time will come that telling the truth would
cause a revolution?
Listen as Dr. Boys shares the story about a man who one day went to visit an old
musician. He knocked on the musician's door and said. "What's the good word
for today?"
Does everyone have a responsibility to receive Christ?
Is there a sovereign God?
Is it better to hear a cruel truth than a mild delusion?
What are you doing to save more lost souls?

Title: We Live in a Weird World
Topic: Christian Values
Discussed by Glenn Stanton
with Focus on the Family www.Family.org
We live in a weird world. A world where boys can be girls and girls can be boys. A world where wrong is right and right is wrong.
Glenn Stanton is a Family Counselor and Director of Family Formation Studies at
Focus on the Family. Today, he will be discussing this scary, topsy-turvy world and how we can avoid it.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Who is teaching our kids today? Who is teaching adults?
Who is right and who is wrong?
Parents: What kind of TV shows do you watch? Do you ban those shows from your children’s eye, yet watch them yourself?
Listen as Glenn Stanton passionately offers hope and encouragement to listeners who may be feeling lost and confused…
Are there consequences for sin? Do most people believe there are NOT consequences?
Too many college-age youth leave the church and do not return. What can parents do now to prevent their children from becoming another statistic?

Are people confusing the words “good” and “polite” with “holy”?
Are good, moral, and holy interchangeable?
Without the cross, can there be salvation?

Title: Be Noble and Consistent
Topic: Christian Values
Discussed by Rabbi Yonason Goldson
with Rabbi Yonason Goldson (www.yonasongoldson.com)
Madeleine Albright, the first woman to serve as U. S. Secretary of
State, declared, "There's a special place in hell for women who don't help each
other!" Then, Gloria Steinem, the decades-old feminist, chimed in:
"When you're young, you're thinking: 'Where are the boys?’ The boys are with
Bernie.” They were both referring to the fact that women who don’t vote for
Hillary Clinton for POTUS were stupid.
Why such a double standard for women? Don’t they know that their statements are
only making matters worse?
Rabbi Yonason Goldson has some interesting thoughts on this topic, as well. “These
are women who are enormously accomplished. I don’t think that she [Madeleine
Albright] really appreciates what she’s saying.” For her to suggest that
women should vote for Hillary simply because she is a woman is absolutely
“demeaning”.
The Rabbi goes on to discuss racism and sexism and how it will always exists in
the world. Furthermore, inconsistency is part of human nature; so is violence,
lust, greed, gluttony, and laziness. “Just because something is an impulse,
doesn’t mean it should be indulged,” the Rabbi points out. “What makes
civilization “civilization” is when we overcome the animal part of ourselves and
grab a hold of the godly part of ourselves. When we become noble. That’s what
human beings should strive to be.” Wow! What a statement. I think that one
is going on Facebook!
Listen in as Rabbi Yonason Goldson discusses the inconsistency in society,
especially in the media. We have become a society of ideology – my people are
right and your people are wrong. We must start offering the same respect to our
opponents as we offer to our allies.
We also need to be consistent in our integrity. “When we see hypocrisy in
others, it makes it that much easier to excuse it in ourselves,” Rabbi
Goldson points out. We all suffer as a society when people begin to make excuses
for their behavior and blame others for their own mistakes. Despite this,
however, we should always move forward.

Beauty”, click [here].
BONUS: For those in the Houston area who are curious as to why Terry
didn’t endorse Ron Hickman for Harris County Sheriff, he talks briefly about it
