Why is saying no to the world just as important as saying yes to God?

Is walking with the Lord an important step to avoiding sin? How is standing with the Lord different than walking with him? Why is sitting with the world so dangerous? Pastor Morris explains that when we sit down, it’s like we’re planting ourselves in place. We don’t want to do that! (1 Corinthains 15:33)

We are to love one another – no matter what. Does this mean we must also “accept” everyone and everything? Pastor Morris puts it this way: “Saying no to sitting down with those who oppose God is not legalism; it’s commonsense and it’s godly wisdom.” (James 4:4)

(Genesis 3) Pastor Jarrett passionately rebukes the perversion that is being shoved in our faces, saying: “If we’re not careful, our children can catch a window into hell at such an early age that it can trip them up…that for years can take them down a road that we would never want our children and our grandchildren to go down.”
