Title: Trump’s Low-Cost Medical Care
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Jane Orient
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)
The Trump administration recently allowed insurers to sell lower-cost, less-comprehensive medical plans as an alternative to those required under ObamaCare. Of course this plan drew swift protest from Congressional Democrats.
Dr. Jane Orient will be explaining the changes in more detail in today’s segment. Dr. Orient is the Managing Editor of the
Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Did Donald Trump suggest a brand-new idea regarding medical care?
What is meant by lower-cost, less comprehensive medical plans? Listen as Dr. Orient explains why offering more competition in the insurance market is much better for everyone, especially the low-income.
Why can’t medical insurance companies screen patients before insuring them? After all, car insurance companies charge those with speeding tickets and wrecks a higher premium than those with a spotless record…
Which economic class of people is the least insured: seniors, millennials, low-income, middle income, or high income?
What does Dr. Orient think Congress will do with Trump’s proposal?

Title: Is Trumpcare on the Horizon?
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Josh Bernstein
with Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) (www.AMAC.us)
Part 1 of 2
Trumpcare is poised to replace Obamacare with Republicans reportedly only a vote or two away. If successful, this would be a quantum shift away from the largest tax penalty in U.S. history and federal control over an additional 1/6 of the entire U.S. In addition, Trumpcare would be a move toward states’ rights over health care.
Josh Bernstein is a political analyst and spokesperson for the Association of Mature American Citizens. Today, he will be offering insight into this heated battle and what Trumpcare means for our future.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Did the Republicans make a deal with the Democrats regarding the replacement or any changes with Obamacare? Is there a deadline of September 30, 2017?
How many times have the Republicans tried to work with the Democrats concerning this issue?
Lindsey Graham is co-author of the bill. How could anything written by moderate Senator Graham ever satisfy Conservative Republicans?
This is the fourth attempt by the Republicans to repeal/replace Obamacare. Is this the best deal or was there one better?
Bottom line: Does this new bill eliminate the government paying for healthcare, giving individual states the right to use “block grants”?
What are “block grants”? Are states required to buy health insurance for the uninsured or can they use the funds for other medical costs?
Tune in to the next segment with Josh Bernstein for more information about
AARP’s connection to Obamacare. Also, to learn more about Josh, click

Questions/Issues Discussed:
Has AARP gone on record supporting Obamacare 100%? Why is this is BAD
move for seniors?
How much money has AARP spent lobbying in favor of Obamacare?
NOTE:
It’s a lot!
What does the Graham/Cassidy bill offer in regards to insuring every person in
America?
Is healthcare a right?
Will the Graham/Cassidy bill get enough votes to pass?
Do the RHINO’s in Congress rely on the MSM to hang the true Republicans out to

Title: Will Obamacare Implode Completely?
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Arina Grossu
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
After taking a financial beating from an exchange that's more
volatile than ever, insurance company Humana said it will head for the
exit on the law in 2018. Like UnitedHealthCare
and others before it, Humana can't keep absorbing the losses of an
imbalanced pool of policyholders.
Arina Grossu is the Director for Human Dignity at the Family Research Council.
Listen in as she discusses the Humana devastation and the future of Obamacare.
Is Trumpcare next?
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Do our Republican Elected Officials want to be remembered as supporting
Trumpcare?
What’s UP with Humana leaving the Obamacare exchange? Have others before
Humana
done the same?
Is there any incentive for healthy people to buy insurance when a plan can
become retroactive if they do become ill? Compare that to car insurance…
What are the three actions our Elected Officials must implement immediately?

Title: Will Trumpcare Replace Obamacare?
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Jane Orient
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)
The Republicans have been promising, dithering, and delaying about using the power of the purse to stop Obamacare since 2010. The entire system is failing, but we now have millions of Americans who are counting on us. What do we do?
Dr. Jane Orient, the Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, has some suggestions.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Why not let Obamacare continue until it collapses? Dr. Jane Orient recommends only repealing regulations that require a comprehensive benefits package and allow insurers in every state to offer low-cost plans. Listen in as she explains why…
Did Obamacare result in five times as many losers as winners?
What do the current Obamacare exchanges look like now compared to when they started?
What will happen to those Americans who have plans under Obamacare?
Can health insurance in America survive if we can just wait until we are sick?
Should the focus be on the care received instead of the card in the wallet? Listen as Dr. Orient reveals just how narrow the insurance networks are and how difficult it really is to receive adequate healthcare under Obamacare.
Should Congress allow people to choose which services they want? Should they also be allowed to purchase health insurance across state lines?

Title: What is Next for Obamacare?
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by David Christensen
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
Is it better to keep the devil you know instead of taking the devil you don’t
know? What are the next steps for Obamacare? Should we keep it, keep some parts
of it, or repeal the whole thing?
David Christensen is the Vice President of Government Affairs with the Family
Research Council. He is here today to offer insight and encouragement.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Were the American People lied to by those lobbying for Obamacare’s passage?
When Nancy Pelosi stated, “We have to pass it to know what’s in it”, what was
she really saying?
Has Obamacare proven to be unworkable? David Christensen offers several reasons
why…
Are there more or less options available to Americans with Obamacare?
Are people paying more or less for health insurance coverage through Obamacare?
Do people have more coverage with Obamacare? Yes, but…listen in for the details…
Overall, is Obamacare bad for Americans and America?
How should Donald and Trump and the new Congress deconstruct Obamacare?
How should we be praying for this issue?

Title: Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Devon Herrick
with National Center for Policy Analysis
Part 1 of 4
Much of what Donald Trump utters on screen is pure nonsense.
He was pressured to release a detailed outline of his
healthcare plan, but he contradicts himself constantly when asked questions concerning his position. Every Presidential candidate since Truman has promised great healthcare coverage for all, so how does Trump’s proposal differ from others?
“Donald Trump’s healthcare plan is as much of an enigma as his popularity,” says Dr. Devon Herrick, Senior Fellow at the
National Center for Policy Analysis. Trump has stated he will repeal Obamacare in its entirety, but he still supports universal healthcare for all and a single-payer Medicare program. What has been released on Trump’s website is what Dr. Herrick calls a “garden variety Republican plan”.
Dr. Herrick explains “Universal Access”. Under all Federal Law, everyone is entitled to healthcare access, but that doesn’t necessarily translate into payment for services by the patient who doesn’t have healthcare coverage. Listen in as Dr. Herrick expounds in further detail what this means and if pre-existing conditions would still be covered under Trumpcare.

Title: Part 2 of 4 - Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Devon Herrick
with National Center for Policy Analysis
“Early on, Donald Trump has made statements that seem kind of
odd,” Dr. Devon Herrick and other health
economists believe. Trump has contradicted
himself so many times that it’s hard to keep the lies straight! As mentioned in
the first segment, Trump (under pressure) released his “comprehensive”
healthcare plan. (Note: It’s not really comprehensive. It’s more just regular
lines of bull that every candidate has spewed for the last eighty years or so.)
Devon explains more of Trumpcare in this second segment.

Title: Part 3 of 4 - Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Devon Herrick
with National Center for Policy Analysis
Politicians in Washington just don’t understand insurance markets.
They don’t understand the ins and outs of medication distribution.
They don’t understand who needs what kind of coverage for their family needs.
They don’t understand because they are politicians – not health economists.
There is no doubt that Obamacare is broken and must be either repealed
completely or fixed. Dr. Herrick believes that the majority of Democrats who
voted for Obamacare truly believed it was the best thing for all Americans.
However, he also believes that there were some who secretly wanted Obamacare to
fail in order to implement a single-payer Universal healthcare program. What a
bold statement from a health economist!
But can Congress really repeal Obamacare without replacing it with something
else? Listen in to hear Dr. Herrick’s opinion!

Title: Part 4 of 4 - Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Devon Herrick
with National Center for Policy Analysis
Health insurance became popular in America during World War II as an
incentive to hire workers. Dr. Devon Herrick explains how health
insurance became a “fringe benefit” in the early 1950’s through a law passed by
Congress. Most employees choose to receive their health insurance through their
employer.
Democrats say they want to improve health insurance coverage for all Americans.
However, they continue to block small business owners from receiving a tax
deduction for providing benefits. They also do not allow employees or the
self-employed this option. Listen in as he explains his opinion.
Special interest lobbyists have convinced politicians not to allow the employee
to choose their coverage options. Democrats say allowing choice, al-a-cart, is a
bad idea. But this is the best option for all Americans! In addition, health
savings accounts enable individuals to choose where to spend their money. The
Democrats are, once again, blocking these money-saving alternative! “As an
economist, let individuals choose their own healthcare…300 million consumers can
do a better job than a few dozen health plans,” Dr. Herrick explains.
Listen in as Dr. Devon Herrick discusses other options for healthcare that are
much more affordable, such as price transparency (fixed, out-of-pocket
expenses). He also explains in more detail how we must alter the way we import
and export drugs to and from other countries. For more on this issue, click

Title: Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet
with Truth For Health (www.TruthForHealth.org)
Part 1 of 2
A dozen failed Obamacare cooperatives have not repaid any of the $1.2 billion in Federal loans they received and still owe more than $1 billion in additional liabilities, according to recent financial statements cited last Thursday at a Congressional hearing. Obamacare, passed by totally partisan votes in the House and Senate and signed into law by the most divisive and partisan President in American history, has tragically resulted in runaway costs, websites that don’t work, greater rationing of care, higher premiums, less competition, and fewer choices.
So who will save us? Bernie Sanders? Hillary Clinton? Donald Trump? Ted Cruz? Today’s focus will be on Trump’s plan, better known as “Trumpcare”. Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is the former Director of the
Association of Physicians and Surgeons. She says, “Certainly Donald Trump’s proposal to allow an improvement in Health Saving’s Accounts that are owned by individuals and allow them to decide how to spend their healthcare dollars is a big improvement.” Does Trump’s plan have what it takes, though? Dr. Vliet goes to explain how coupling the Health Saving’s Accounts with true medical coverage could possibly work to lower premiums, if done the right way.
Another option being tossed around is “a la cart” benefits – letting individuals choose exactly what they want to pay for. This is not a new concept. However, most Americans don’t even understand their car insurance. How can we expect them to fully understand all the ins and outs of complicated health insurance coverage? “Basically, people need to understand that if the government is going to decide what you need in your life, it’s going to cost more,” Dr. Vliet opines.
If you are or know a die-hard Democrat who will always vote Democrat no matter what, please do the research for yourself. Listen in to the next segment as Dr. Elizabeth Vliet discusses more of Trumpcare and other medical options that are gaining popularity.

Title: Part 2 of 2 - Trumpcare Explained
Topic: Trumpcare
Discussed by Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet
with Truth For Health (www.TruthForHealth.org)
Donald Trump’s plan for healthcare is:
1) Repeal Obamacare;
2) give control to individuals;
3) allow cross-state healthcare purchases; and
4) allow overseas purchase of medications.
Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet explains how America currently pays for the majority of
the research and development for new medications distributed across the world.
This also means that Americans are paying for product liability lawsuits, as
well, which is costing an outrageous amount.
One of the biggest issues right now is the ever-increasing cost of medications.
Some are so high people are spending their life savings and retirement to just
cover the cost of their medicine! Dr. Vliet tells of one of her patients who
actually traveled overseas to physically purchase a year’s worth of a generic
drug because it was cheaper than buying it here in the US! A generic drug!! That
is just outrageous, people. Outrageous.
Did You Know? The Democrats during WWII are to blame for us not being able to
deduct the price of our health insurance premiums. Business owners can, but
individuals cannot. Would allowing this help or hinder? Listen in as Dr. Vliet
explains this and “price transparency”, which is absolutely critical. You might
be shocked as to what hospitals do when they find out who you are and what
insurance you have!
Finally, Dr. Vliet reveals how Medicare and Medicaid would be affected under
Trumpcare. Fraud and abuse in these government agencies is absolutely appalling
and must be stopped before we no longer can, she warns. For more from Dr. Vliet,
