Title: Texas Drillers Face Hurdles with New Ban Pledge
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Charles Hernick
with Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (www.citizensfor.com)

Part 1 of 2

“What happens if the United States bans fracking?” This is the big question on many people’s minds. New guest Charles Hernick has some answers!

Charles is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES)  in Washington, DC. For over a decade, Charles has worked at the crossroads of economic development, energy, and natural resource management across the U.S. and on the ground in over a dozen countries in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Has fracking enabled America to rank highest in the world in terms of oil and gas production?

Can America remain the world’s number one producer of oil and natural gas without fracking?

Do American oil and gas producing companies face the real possibility of losing the right to drill on federally owned lands onshore and offshore? Are they nervous about the 2020 Presidential Elections?

Title: Part 2 of 2 - Texas Drillers Face Hurdles with New Ban Pledge
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Charles Hernick
with Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (www.citizensfor.com)

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Does fracking cause groundwater pollution?

Does fracking cause earthquakes?

Gasoline in California costs nearly $4.15 per gallon while the cost of gasoline in Houston hoovers around $2.00 per gallon. Most Europeans pay $6 to $10 per gallon. Why the stark difference in price?

Do elections matter?

Title: Fracking Accused of Causing More To Drop Out of High School
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Greg Kozera
with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

Fracking continues to get a bad name, an engineer with 35 years of experience in the natural gas and oil industries.

An article recently published on Yahoo!, based on data released by the National Bureau of Economic Research, blames fracking for not reducing the drop-out rate among male high school students ages 17 and 18. Instead, the study says, the availability of good-paying jobs in the shale oil and gas industry made it less attractive to finish school.

The study’s abstract claims that, without fracking, the drop-out rate would have narrowed for that demographic in relation to female students who are the same age by 11 percent in recent years.

A while back we were complaining that there weren’t enough viable blue-collar, industrial jobs available to the American workforce, and now we’re blaming a job-creating industry for high school drop-out rates? I smell agenda.

Title: EPA Declares Fracking Safe!
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Karen Moreau
with Energy Tomorrow www.EnergyTomorrow.org

If you haven’t heard the latest news about fracking, the EPA has made an outrageous claim that has the environmentalists pulling their hair out! After spending $30 Million on a five-year study, the EPA is now declaring that hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is not harmful and does not cause any damage whatsoever! Maybe if they had just listened to experts like Karen Moreau and others, they could have saved a whole lot of money!

Obama and his minions have placed restrictions on oil drilling and exploration, slowing down the American economy. It’s time to put a stop to it. Hundreds of thousands of jobs – if not millions – are directly affected by energy development. So many more who are out of work could be providing for their families if only Obama would allow the oil and gas industry to expand.

Karen Moreau is with Energy Tomorrow.  She is also the Executive Director of the New York Petroleum Council and is a spokesperson for the American Petroleum Institute (API), which represents some of the world's biggest energy companies. She says, “The Obama administration, even the President, cannot deny the impact on the American economy over the last five or six years due to natural gas and oil development. If it hadn’t been for the energy industry, we shudder to think where the economy would be.”

The next big step for Congress is to allow American oil and gas companies to not only export their products, but to also explore new opportunities on federal lands. Listen in as Karen Moreau explains how this will benefit the American economy with new jobs and lower prices.

Title: If the Shoes Fits, Wear It.
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Marita Noon
with Energy Makes America Great

On May 18, 2015, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed HB40 into law. HB40 is also known as the Denton Fracking Bill, which clarifies that an "oil and gas operation is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state." But what does that mean in laymen’s terms?

Marita Noon is here to explain HB40 and why some are happy and some are not. She also explains how fracking is responsible for the lower gas prices we have been experiencing at the pump. “America is predicted to be the world’s number one oil producer in the world in 2015,” Marita reveals. “That scared the bajeebers out of Saudi Arabia!” (Yes, that is a direct quote from Ms. Marita Noon!)

We would like to remind our listeners and followers of The What’s UP Radio Program that fracking has been around for more than 65 years and millions of wells have been fracked during this time. Not one fracked well has ever contaminated a water well. Not once. Ever. “If fracking is really as bad as they say, then we would not have any clean water wells left in this country,” Marita points out. Furthermore, no fracked well has ever caused an earthquake, like the environmentalists claim. Not once. Ever.

Title: Good News for Texans!
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Leigh Thompson
with Texas Public Policy Foundation (www.TexasPolicy.com)

Good news for Texans! HB40 was passed in both the House and Senate with overwhelming support and is now headed to the Governor’s desk for his signature. What is HB40 and why is it good for Texans? Leigh Thompson, with the Armstrong Center for Energy and the Environment at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, has been following the bill.

Historically, the Railroad Commission has been misunderstand and honestly did not oversee some areas which they should have. Leigh says, “The Legislature has taken much-needed action against abusive municipal regulations and outright bans on fracking and solidified Texans’ right to develop the minerals beneath their land in commercially reasonable ways.” Now, the Railroad Commission will be in charge of oil and gas exploration, development, and production. Why is this such a big deal? Leigh Thompson explains!

Fracking has been receiving some bad press lately. Leigh says, “There are numerous studies that are attempting to create a link (between fracking and earthquakes) but they typically rely only on correlation.” She explains further how none of the studies can prove the connection between fracking and earthquakes.

Title: Denton Bans Fracking. What's Next?
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Leigh Thompson
with Texas Public Policy Foundation (www.TexasPolicy.com)

The good people of Denton, Texas, think they are too good for fracking. Leigh Thomson, with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, argues that they are not – nor is anyone! The people of Denton, and other cities across the nation, have given in to the fear-mongering from the environmentalists. It’s nothing more than that: fear-mongering. Period.

Over a million wells in the United States have been fracked since the 1940’s. There are 33,000 fracked wells in Texas alone. It has been proven that not a single well has been contaminated due to fracking. It has been proven that fracking has not cause a single earthquake. The environmentalists are trying to blame recent unexplained earthquakes in Connecticut on fracked wells. The only problem is: Connecticut doesn’t have fracked wells! Oops! Caught lying again!

Back to Denton, Texas… Several months ago, scientists gave the citizens “facts” about fracking which resulted in a total ban on the practice. Are they now regretting this decision? Leigh discusses what the City of Denton has discovered about their future now that fracking has been banned. In fact, the day after the ban was finalized, the city of Denton was sued! Why?

Listen in as Leigh explains how the new city law contradicts state law and therefore should be invalid. There has even been some bills filed in the Texas Legislature concerning the issue, so it must be a big deal!

Title: What Climate Change Protestors Don't Know Can Hurt Us
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Greg Kozera
with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

What lessons can be learned from the ban on fracking in Denton, Texas? Greg Kozera, author of  Just the Fracks Ma’am, was shocked to learn that this small town in Texas had voted to ban the practice of fracking in new drilled wells. He was absolutely astounded.

A small group of environmentalists have been traveling around the country and spreading outright lies about fracking and the “harm” it does to the water supply. They don’t really care about fracking. They care about the drilling itself. They assume that if they are able to ban fracking, the oil companies will just tuck tail and leave.

What the climate change fanatics don’t realize is how many times per day they actually use a product or device made of oil from a well that has been fracked. iPhones, iPads, car, refrigerators, grocery stores, fancy work-out gyms, and even their shoes have all been made from oil. All of these items are made in a factory using oil.

I guess they might as well start wearing animal skins that they’ve made themselves – actually scratch that. They’re all vegans and don’t kill animals for anything, especially not clothes. So, they’re now wearing Adam and Eve-type leafy greens over their nether-regions, living off the land. Oh no! They can’t Google “How to cook over a dung-fired pit”! How will they survive?

So what’s next? Listen in as author Greg Kozera discusses health issues, cost comparisons, and loss of jobs. For more information about fracking, log on to www.JustTheFracks.com.

Title: Denton Voters Sold a Pack of Lies
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Chris Faulkner
with Breitling Oil and Gas (www.BreitlingEnergy.com)

Part 1 of 2

For the very first time, voters in an energy-friendly state voted to ban fracking. They were fed a pack of lies from the lefty environmentalists. Then they drank their Kool-Aid. Now, there is no going back.

What is in store for the good people of Denton who bought the lies and passed a fracking ban? Chris Faulkner is the CEO and Chairman of Breitling Oil and Gas found at www.BreitlingEnergy.com  Chris explains how the people in Denton were not worried so much about the fracking practice, but about the area they were planning to drill and frack. Chris goes on to further state that this isn’t just an issue for Denton, but affects America as a whole and, yes, even the world.

There are approximately 275 active fracked wells in Denton County, Texas. Parents in Denton were saying their kids were having nose bleeds and asthma. Yet, not one parent reported a well behind their house. Not one parent went to the authorities to say water was causing health issues in their kids. However, when the commercials started about one new well being built their homes and schools and all the “bad” things fracking “supposedly” causes, the parents began a petition.

Okay. So, let’s look at the “Evidence” from the so-called experts:

The EPA and the Department of Interior have both stated that fracking has never – never – contaminated any of the more than 1,000,000 (1 MILLION) wells that have been fracked in the United States. Ohhhh, but the lefty environmentalists claim the EPA and DOI “abandoned” their studies because they were wasting too much time on them. Well, I hate to be a naysayer – actually I love to be a naysayer – but they had to abandon their studies because they couldn’t find the evidence! NOTE: This is not based on one study from the EPA or DOI. They have done THREE studies!

One of the more common arguments lefty environmentalists like to use is that fracking will cause the water in your kitchen to sink to explode. Chris points out that this has absolutely nothing to do with fracking, but rather methane gas in the ground that can (rarely) seep into the water supply. This has been happening long before the 1940’s, when the US first starting using fracking.

Listen in to the next segment with Chris Faulkner as he discusses private ownership land rights and what oil and gas companies must do if they want to drill on privately owned land. But what about the government? Are they required to pay a fair price for the oil and use of the land? Or can they just kick you out?

Title: Part 2 of 2 - Denton Voters Sold a Pack of Lies
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Chris Faulkner
with Breitling Oil and Gas (www.BreitlingEnergy.com)

Every well in the United States of America has been fracked since the 1940’s. The majority of wells around the world are fracked, as well. In the US alone, this is over 1,000,000 (1 MILLION) wells. Less than 20,000 people in a county in Texas have decided the fate of fracking for the rest of the United States and the world. Less than 20,000 people.

In this second segment with Chris Faulkner, he discusses the mineral rights of oil and gas companies, what fracking or non-fracking means to the residents, and the future of both oil and gas companies and the residents who reside where wells are being drilled. Chris even mentions how he and other experts in the oil and gas industry went to the Denton City Council months ago, trying to negotiate different terms for the new wells. Surprise, surprise! There offers of a compromise were shot down every time!

The ban is set and in place, but the fight is far from over. One oil and gas company has already sued the city of Denton, saying then ban is unconstitutional. The RR commission is preparing to sue, as well. This ban is also going to affect every land owner in the city of Denton and Chris expects to see many other lawsuits pop up in the coming months and years. He says it’s interesting how all the lefty environmentalists who funded all the petitions and grass roots campaigns against fracking are long gone, leaving the small town of Denton, Texas, to field all the legal bills that are sure to arise on their own.

Chris says that because the ban on fracking has occurred in a Texas city, the lefty environmentalist media is having a field-day. The MSM is going absolutely crazy over this. Listen in as Chris discusses the serious ramifications of this ban that the majority of voters probably did not even think of before they voted for this ban.

Title: The Greenies Just Won't Quit
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Josiah Neeley
with Texas Public Policy Foundation (www.TexasPolicy.com)

Oil prices are the lowest they’ve been in years. Why? Because of fracking! The Greenies want to outlaw fracking. They hate oil. They hate capitalism. They hate profit. They even convince people to LIE about the issue!

Over 1,000,000 (that’s 1 MILLION) oil and gas wells have been fracked in America since 1940. Not one single case of contamination has ever – EVER – been recorded. But don’t take Josiah Neely’s word for it. The EPA and MIT have even done studies and found NO evidence!

Josiah Neely explains some of the concerns the Greenies have with fracking and why those concerns have no merit. They are basically non-issues. Josiah also talks about the good that fracking contributes to the economy and the environment. He also points out that all the profit made in the oil industry since Obama was elected into office has been made off oil production in the private sector or on state land. None – NONE – of the federally owned land has produced a significant amount of oil. NONE.

It’s interesting that the Denton City Council initially rejected a fracking ban but a small group of environmental activists convinced them to put the issue to a vote.

People in Denton, Texas, must make a choice on Tuesday, November 4 at the polls. You must tell your friends, neighbors, co-workers, Bible Study members, everyone to vote. Vote to stop the Greenies.

Title: Environmentalists Agitate, Activate, and Abandon
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Jess Fields
with Texas Public Policy Foundation (www.TexasPolicy.com)

We’ve done quite a few shows lately on the issue of “fracking”. Some of you – many of you – may be wondering why. When lies are being spread by the left, using popular, handsome Hollywood celebrities to further enhance their audience into fear and hatred, then it’s time someone stands up and says “Enough”. I am but a willing voice, eager to tell others the truth.

Jess Fields, Senior Policy Analyst in The Center for Local governance at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, is another voice eager to lend a hand in the fight against the left’s strategy to send us back to the Stone Age. And, yes, folks, that is exactly what they want to do. They come in to agitate the voters by saying “That headache you have? Oh, it’s from fracking.” They activate the voters by convincing them to vote against fracking in their town. Then, they abandon you and leave you with a pile of poo to wade through for years and even decades. They don’t care about the consequences because they don’t live there.

On November 4, registered voters in the city of Denton, Texas, have the opportunity stand up and take a stand against big business and environmentalists. When the environmentalists come into a town or city and are successful in implementing regulations on fracking and other construction practices, the plumbers, the contractors, the electricians, the architects are all run out of business. They either go bankrupt or are forced to move their business to a nearby town, costing them hundreds of thousands – even millions – of dollars in profit and revenue.

Fracking is safe. It is legal. It does not pollute. It does contaminate the water supply. It does not kill the flea-flicking-flea-fly or the dung beetle. It most certainly does not cause cancer or other diseases. Not once has a documented case of any injury, illness, or death occurred due to fracking.

Fracking creates a tremendous amount of jobs. Personal incomes are higher in areas where fracking occurs. Tax payers benefit from commercial development because it relieves the tax pressure from average citizens.

Today, Jess Fields gives some insight into why the left detests fracking so much and what they plan to do in the near future to convince you to hate it, too.

Denton residents – vote on November 4. Learn the facts. Know the myths. Have a voice. Take a stand and make a difference.

Title: Why does the Left Hate Fracking?
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Greg Kozera
with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

Part 1 of 2

Would you rather put $10 million into a business in Mexico, Africa, or Canada – or America? That’s kind of a rhetorical question. Well, in Denton, Texas, there is a referendum on the ballot to ban the fracking process. In fact, many cities all across the country have been attempting this. Why? Why does the left despise fracking so much?

Many environmental organizations want to ban fracking, but they really don’t have any idea what fracking is – and more importantly how fracking benefits the environment. They don’t even know that their iPhones use as much energy as their refrigerator! When they Tweet “Eat a plant! Not a cow!” they are using energy from all over the United States! Just for one single Tweet! What hypocrites!

The people in Denton have a choice – to choose to continue to have reliable, inexpensive energy to watch TV, play Scrabble on their iPads, work at home from a computer, and drive their kids to soccer practice. Or they can choose to pay more for unreliable, patchy energy which is constantly having interruptions and give up their cable, kids piano lessons, pawn their iPads, and work a second job just to pay for their outrageous electric bills. They have a choice.

Secondly, how many pollutants are released from fracking? NONE! ZERO! In fact, fracking HELPS the environment! Fracking lowers electric bills, cleans the air, and has never, ever polluted any source of water. And fracking creates jobs. Know your Fracks, ma’am.

Listen in to the next segment to hear the negative effects we all would face if fracking is banned for good.

Part 1 of 3

Who said “If you tell the people a lie long enough, it will become the truth”? Oh, yeah. Hitler.

If you listened to the Main Stream Media, you would believe fracking is a new technique fraught with many bad unintended consequences. The MSM are paid marketers for the left’s cause. Their only goal is to stop all drilling in America. Period.

Would you believe me if I told you that, since 1947, nearly 2 million wells have been fracked? Would you believe me if I told you that there has not been one single recorded case of contamination – from nearly 2 million wells? That’s a fact, Jack.

Greg Kozera is an environmentalist who has helped with the implementation of thousands of fracked wells. Is he biased? You bet he is! But only because he knows the TRUTH.

Topic: Fracking

In just five short years, America has gone from being on the bottom of the barrel to the world leader in oil production. Imagine what we could do if the left would just allow us! Greg Kozera, author of  Just the Fracks Ma’am, says we could literally save the planet.

It’s not about more jobs, although that is a major plus. It’s not even about the money, which is obviously a tremendous benefit.

Greg says it’s simply about saving the planet. The smog and smut from China doesn’t stay in China; it travels globally. The people in Africa would have their lives changed. Middle Eastern countries ravaged in war and poverty could see the light of day. European countries would have no need to depend on Russia.

We could help. America could help. America could save the planet! Let’s put that on our resume!

Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Greg Kozera
with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

What does the future look like for the fracking industry? Right now, it’s pretty grim due to the mounting lies the MSM is spreading far and wide. The left even has Hollywood celebrities pleading their case. And we all know that when celebrities open their mouths, there is nothing but truth that comes out (said with much sarcasm and rolling of the eyes).

Friends, get the facts about fracking. Read Greg’s new book, Just the Fracks Ma’am, with your teens and college students. Tell them the truth and encourage them to politely and respectfully challenge their teachers and professors on the matter should it arise.

Greg says we currently have enough oil and gas available to last hundreds of years – and he is not the only one in his field who knows this to be true. New technology would expand fracking by leaps and bounds. Let’s be givers, not takers. Let’s share our wealth with the world, not hide it away, literally, underground.

with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

Part 1 of 3

Despite King Obama. Despite the Democrats. Despite the EPA. Despite all the tree-huggers in California and up north….America is now the oil and gas giant in the world.

Since 1947, millions of wells around the world have been fracked. No wells have contaminated water well. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Nada. None. No one has gotten cancer. No one has developed lung disease. No one has even so much as gotten a cold from fracking “contaminating” their water supply.

Greg Kozera explains how fracking works by comparing it to emptying a football stadium after the big game. What if there was an eight-lane highway you could automatically jump on when you were leaving? That’s how fracking works – it’s like an underground highway for water!

Drill here! Drill now! Drill more! Greg has over 35 years of experience in the fracking industry. He is not biased. He just tells the facts. He is here to set the record straight about fracking.

If companies would be allowed to drill for natural gas and construct new buildings for manufacturing, job growth would be incredible! These would be good paying jobs for honest Americans. It would stimulate the economy like crazy!

Obama has tried to take credit for the small increase in natural gas production, but he is lying – again. All he has done from day one in office is stifle the oil and gas industry, placing regulation after regulation on them. He continues to block drilling – but only here on American soil; it’s ok to drill in other parts of the world, just not here. I think he is purposefully trying to ruin our country on a daily basis.

Title: Part 3 of 3 - Just the Fracks Ma'am
Topic: Fracking
Discussed by Greg Kozera
with Just the Fracks Ma’am (www.JustTheFracksBook.com)

Ladies, how would you like to wash all your clothes by hand in a bucket in the front yard? Do you think you’d enjoy frying up a chicken (that you killed and plucked yourself) in a hot kitchen with no air condition? Then, you wash all the dishes by hand in the same tub you take a bath in once a week! Shiver….

Men, how much do you enjoy farm work? Ok, let’s say you’re an attorney. You think you work hard now. Imagine not having a car to ride to your law office in. You have to ride a horse or take a buggy. You don’t have a computer to do research or a smart phone to text your client updates. You have to – gulp – actually go to a library (if there is one!) or talk to your client face-to-face.

Moms and dads: Do you think your kids would enjoy cleaning out an outhouse several times a week or getting up at 5 am to milk the cows and gather the eggs, then head off to school miles away – on foot? You think they complain now. Just wait!

You think I’m kidding. You think this could never happen. But, this is exactly what the environmentalists want us to do: Live like it’s the 1800’s all over again. No A/C. No indoor plumbing. No cars. No fast-food. No WalMart? They say we’re using too much oil and gas and it will all disappear soon. Cry me a river!

Greg Kozera says that with today’s technology, we can rely on current fracking for 200 years. Imagine how long it will last with new technology. Also, he points out that natural gas has lowered the CO2 levels in the US to 1992 levels. They’re NOT increasing – they are decreasing!

In fact, we are shipping natural gas to India and China and Japan and cleaning up their CO2 emissions, too! Greg wraps up his interview with debunking some of the misconceptions about fracking.
