Galatians 5: ¹⁹“Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, ²¹envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Do too many people, including Christians, ignore the dangers of the “works of the flesh”? Pastor Ed believes that we often ignore these sins or we do not stress their dangers. He says: “God is in the life-changing business… There needs to be accountability and the Scripture is clear about what God expects.”

Why is it important for us to constantly be inspecting the fruit in our own lives, pruning away the bad? (1 Peter 1:16)

Why did Paul give this warning about the “works of the flesh”? Is it really that important to avoid them? How can we avoid the temptation?

Why don’t more Pastors preach on this? Are parents afraid to address these issues with their kids? Pastor Ed explains why he believes it is vital that these issues are addressed, especially with the younger generation. (Romans 1:16)
