Title: New Texas Voter ID Laws
Topic: Voter ID Laws
Discussed by Stan Stanart
with Stanart for Harris County Clerk
Harris County Clerk Stan Stanart has all the details regarding new voter identification laws in Texas just in time for the Presidential Election this November.
For more information on this issue and to check to see if you are registered at
your current residence, click here.
(Disclaimer: The official ruling from the Secretary of State regarding the new laws has not been issued, so any information discussed in this interview is subject to change.)
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Will Texas voters be required to show one of the six acceptable forms of photo ID prior to voting in the upcoming Presidential Election?
If a voter does not have a photo ID when attempting to vote in the upcoming Presidential Election, will they still be allowed to vote?
Note: Stan gives more details concerning this issue later in the interview, so make sure you listen to the entire segment!
Voters have been required to present photo ID at the polls in Texas for several years and the system has gone very smoothly. Why all the change now?
Should every state in America implement voter photo ID laws similar to those in Mexico, some African countries, and other nations around the globe?
Has there been proven voter fraud in elections across America in recent years?
Requiring photo ID to vote makes so much sense to me. Why are there groups who oppose photo ID laws?
Other states have strict photo ID requirements for voting. Why was Texas singled out?

Title: New Voter ID Laws in Texas are Being Well Received
Topic: Voter ID Laws
Discussed by Stan Stanart
with Stanart for Harris County Clerk
Total turnout for the March 4th
Primary Elections was 193,491 voters; a mere 9.7% turnout. That is incredibly
sad to me. How did Harris County voters respond to new voter ID laws?
In the Republican Primary, 25 of the 139,703 voters voted provisionally because
they did not present an acceptable photo ID. In the Democratic Primary, 10 of
the 53,788 voters voted provisionally because they did not present an acceptable
photo ID. As provided by law, within 6 days after Election Day, 4 Republican
voters and 1 Democratic voter provided an acceptable Photo ID to the voter
Registrar so that their provisional vote would be counted.
Stan Stanart, Harris County Clerk and Chief Elections Officer of the County,
discusses this and what to expect in future elections.

Topic: Voter ID Laws
Discussed by Justin Danhof
with National Center for Public Policy Research (www.NationalCenter.org)
Part 1 of 2
Voter ID is
oppressive. Voter ID is against the law. Voter ID is
discriminatory. Voter ID hurts my feelings. All lame excuses by the left to
block Voter ID laws in America.
Justin Danhof joins us today for 2 quick segments on Eric Holder’s obsession
with Voter ID laws. Why is Holder so dead set against Voter ID laws and
protection from voter fraud? And just how is the Voter ID law supposed to work?

Discussed by Justin Danhof
with National Center for Public Policy Research (www.NationalCenter.org)
The Department of Justice sat on
a request from the National Center for Public Policy Research for over 6 months
concerning Eric Holder’s reasons to challenge the Voter ID Laws. What was the
DOJ’s response? Did Eric Holder lie? Has the President lied?? You don’t want to
miss this segment with Justin Danhof!
