Title: The Nazification of American Medicine
Topic: Medical Tyranny
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

Part 1 of 4

The medical profession’s adoption of sacrosanct “evidence-based medicine” set the stage for the widespread medical tyranny we are currently witnessing. However, guest Dr. Richard Amerling reminds us “that the medical profession is an essential bulwark against totalitarianism” because their number one concern should be healing their patients.

Dr. Amerling is a Past-President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and is currently with the Global Covid Summit. His many op-eds have been published in textbooks and peer-reviewed medical journals.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What is “evidence-based medicine”? Dr. Amerling explains that it sounds good on paper, but in reality, it is absolutely the opposite, saying: “The hierarchy that they have created is completely arbitrary.” He further explains that all the trials are very easily manipulated.

Have evidence-based studies been hijacked by those paying the bills, controlled by government-funded bureaucracies? Dr. Amerling says: “We have gotten to the point that if you deviate from these guidelines, you’re going to get canceled, fired, harassed, or censored.”

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Did Hitler first recruit and control the doctors before implementing the Final Solution?

When doctors are beholden to the government for their paycheck, will patient care suffer? Dr. Amerling explains that it’s not just the government anymore; it’s corporations, too.

Does the Hippocratic ethic of the medical profession stand in the way of the anti-humanist, pseudoscientific Left?

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Was Hitler’s genocide based on eugenics, a pseudoscientific concept he borrowed from Western intellectuals? SHORT ANSWER: Yes. Absolutely. Dr. Amerling explains how…

Did German doctors participate willingly in massive genocide and euthanasia of the incurably sick and disabled children?

Did Hitler and his minions justify this murderous policy as being “humane” and based on “good science”?

Title: A Medical Tsunami is on the Horizon
Topic: Medical Coding
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

Part 1 of 2

The bureaucrats in the healthcare control business are unleashing a tsunami and it will hit October 1. Medical coding for billing purposes started back in the 1980’s. It started out as a good thing (aren’t all government programs?) to help hospitals and then doctors a few years later. Now, it has morphed into something completely the opposite.

Dr. Richard Amerling,  with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons,  explains medical coding in easy-to-understand terms. For example, a simple diagnosis for the common cold could easily be changed to double pneumonia! Think of how much the insurance company would need to increase their payment to the doctor or hospital when this happens!

As if things weren’t bad enough, Dr. Amerling says it will get a whole lot worse beginning October 1 when the new coding system takes effect. He fears that many physicians will just close their practice. They simply won’t be able to afford the change or the hours it will take to learn the information required.

Furthermore, Dr. Amerling believes that insurance companies don’t even need to know what your medical diagnosis is! Listen in as he passionately explains his position on this issue.

Title: Part 2 of 2 - A Medical Tsunami is on the Horizon
Topic: Medical Coding
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

The IC-10 system was developed by the World Health Organization, which should set off alarm bells immediately. Many other countries have already implemented this system, but that doesn’t mean America should!

Right now, there are approximately 14,000 different codes for doctors to choose from. On October 1, that number will jump to 70,000. How are physicians, hospitals, nurses, and administrative staff supposed to keep up with it all? In fact, Dr. Amerling says every small practice will need to hire at least one medical coder who does nothing all day long except decipher which code to submit for every patient. It’s just ridiculous. Imagine the financial hardship larger practices and hospitals will face!

Listen in as Dr. Amerling explains some of the new codes and why exactly they are simply unmanageable. In his opinion, medical coding is a complete waste of time and money. It does nothing to improve the health of patients, nor does it help with a diagnosis. It is simply another way for insurance companies and the government to make money, while the doctor and hospital loses even more.

Another issue of concern is fraud. If a doctor or medical coder inadvertently submits the incorrect code to the insurance company, they could face fraud charges! Dr. Amerling discusses why this is going to be a big concern for physicians and hospitals because the margin of error with 70,000 codes to choose from will be massive.

Title: The Destruction of Private Medical Practice
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

We are hearing more and more about the failure of Obamacare. Well, maybe not in the MSM, but definitely on radio talk shows and Conservative-style news TV shows. Dr. Richard Amerling, with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), says things are bad – really, really bad.

Today’s focus is on the Accountable Care Organizations (ACO’s). These ACO’s were created through Obamacare and are disappearing rapidly. They are comparable to HMO’s and just do not provide quality care to patients.

Dr. Amerling says that shifting Medicare contracts to ACO’s is not smart move, either. Listen in as he explains what ACO’s are and why they are so bad.

Roughly 3,000 physicians and surgeons are members of AAPS. For more from Dr. Amerling and others with AAPS, click [here].

Title: CDC Gets an "F" from the President of the AAPS
Topic: Ebola
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

The CDC was created to protect the American people. Over the years, however, it seems as though politics has gotten in the way of the CDC’s original purpose. In fact, Dr. Richard Amerling, the President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, says the head of the CDC looks like he’s being forced at gunpoint to tell the American people that Ebola is not a threat to the United States. Dr. Amerling says the CDC is simply not doing its job. Period.

Dr. Amerling was absolutely astounded when Obama and the “experts” said that a no-fly, no-travel ban to and from Ebola-ravaged countries is not necessary and would do more harm than good. Dr. Amerling disagrees with this 150%! The only way Ebola can be contained is by quarantining the infected areas and not allowing people to leave, especially by airplane to all corners of the globe.

Dan Henninger wrote in the Wall Street Journal about “Killer Bureaucracies”: “Ebola, the Secret Service, Veterans Affairs, Obamacare rollout, the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Behind all these names are federal bureaucracies that are supposed to protect people or help them. Instead of helping, are they putting individuals at risk – or worse, our County at RISK?” Dr. Amerling responds to this statement.

Dr. Amerling also explains how hospital staff need more training to be better prepared. Right now, if one Ebola patient enters a hospital ER, half the system is shut down because the patient needs constant care and supervision, not to mention the quarantining and sterilization involved.

How can we, as Americans, be more proactive in helping the physicians and aid workers in Africa who are fighting Ebola on the front lines? Listen in as Dr. Amerling shares how you can help. Log on to www.AAPS.org for more on this and other health issues.

Title: Accountable Care Organizations Look Like the HMO’s of Years Gone By
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

Part 1 of 2

HMO’s had stingy gatekeepers. The gatekeepers under Obamacare are beginning to look a lot like the HMO gatekeepers of years gone by.

Has President Obama created a new system built on flawed policies of the past?

Main Stream Media spun the preliminary performance data of the 32 Accountable Care Organization Pioneers into glowing reports. But all is not well within Obamacare.

Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

How are the Accountable Care Organizations different from HMO’s? Dr. Amerling’s diagnosis: mere cosmetics.

Like HMO’s, ACO’s will face very strong incentives to cherry pick the healthy and to limit access to specialty care, procedures, expensive drugs, and hospitals. These incentives are devastating to the truly ill.

The ACO is accountable to the CMS – the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services – not to the patient. The patient loses every time in a system controlled by a gatekeeper who can be rewarded for limiting services. Listen in.

Why are so many physicians leaving private practice and going to work for a clinic and/or hospital as a salaried employee?

Payment for services rendered have not kept up with expenses at a private practice. Stop and ask this question: would you continue in business if you could NOT make a profit and/or cover your expenses?

The natural human tendency when you are on salary is to do as little as possible and draw your pay check.  Is this happening NOW in the medical field?

Title: PHYSICIAN WARNS OF ENSLAVEMENT BY HEALTH
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Dr. Richard Amerling
with Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (www.aapsonline.org)

“You load sixteen tons, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store”

“Sixteen Tons”  who was the original artist?????

During World War II, the government imposed wage and price controls. In an effort to attract and retain workers, companies offered health insurance in lieu of wages.

These benefits were not taxable for either the employer or employee. When the war ended and controls lifted (everywhere except in New York City, where rent controls persist to this day), the tax subsidy for employer-sponsored health insurance was retained.

This explains why the majority of working Americans buy health insurance at work, at the “company store.” This accident of history underlies much of what has gone wrong with health care in America.

For more log onto www.aapsonline.org.

There are undoubtedly millions of Americans who are trapped in jobs they no longer like simply because they are worried about the consequences of changing health plans, or going without. These people have “sold their soul to the company store” and are, at least partially, enslaved.

ObamaCare, beyond the enormous costs and dislocations, directly inserts itself into the doctor-patient relationship. It will make the practice of Hippocratic Medicine--- “I will prescribe regimen for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment. I will keep them from harm and injustice.”---all but impossible.

Should ObamaCare survive the dozens of legal challenges, the underhanded recess appointment of this devoted central planner confirms our grim predictions. There is also no question this approach will fail, and fail on a grand scale. There will be shortages, dislocations, more massive bureaucracies, huge cost overruns, and what may be an irreversible loss of quality. Along the way, thousands, if not millions of patients will be harmed.
