Title: What Exactly is a Sanctuary City?
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Bill King
with Bill King (www.BillKingBlog.net)

Today's world of 24-hour, partisan-slaved cable networks and an ideologically re-enforcing blogosphere is dominated by catch phrases that frequently create more obfuscation than illumination. The term "sanctuary city" is exactly such a catch phrase.

But, what exactly is a “sanctuary city”? Listen as Houston political activist and former candidate for Mayor Bill King explains…

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What does it really mean to be a "sanctuary city?"

What happens when a person is taken into custody?

When are police officers allowed to ask someone if they are a legal or illegal citizen?

Bill King recently wrote: “Until Congress acts, expect more SB4s, more litigation, more hardship for US citizens forced to deal with the problems caused by illegal immigration, more uncertainty for immigrants, and more acrimony over a problem that is 100% self-inflicted by our worthless, do-nothing Congress.

Title: Does Walgreens Support Sanctuary Cities?
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Justin Danhof
with National Center for Public Policy Research (www.NationalCenter.org)

Pharmacy giant Walgreens is coming under fire for recent comments made in support of sanctuary cities. However, now that the cat is out of the bag, they are back-peddling – and fast.

Justin Danhoff is General Counsel and FEP Director at the National Center for Public Policy Research. Listen in as he gives more details.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Do most big corporations, like Walgreens or Starbucks, donate money only to left-leaning charitable donations?

Is UnidosUS (formerly the National Council of La Raza) an organization that believes in reuniting California, Arizona, New Mexico and parts of Texas with Mexico?

Do most Americans believe in open borders, allowing anyone a chance to live here – no questions asked? Listen as Mark Tooley explains the law regarding this hot topic…

Does Walgreens support the League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC) which supports sanctuary cities and amnesty for illegal immigrants?

A 2017 Harvard-Harris poll found 80% of American voters oppose sanctuary city policies. When presented with the facts, how did the executives with Walgreens react? What did they promise to do?

Title: Companies that Support Sanctuary Cities
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Robert Kuykendall
with Second Vote (www.2ndvote.com)

Disclaimer: Use caution when listening to this segment around young children. Issues discussed might be upsetting or hard for little ones to understand.

Montgomery County, Maryland is home to a few very influential corporations. GEICO, the nation’s second largest auto insurance company has its corporate offices in Chevy Chase and just up the road in Bethesda is Marriott International.

Robert Kuykendall will be discussing why and how these two companies are supporting Sanctuary Cities, placing their community at risk.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What happened at a high school in Rockville, Maryland, the county seat in Washington, DC?

Does this reveal the problems with our public schools and the government’s social justice program?

How are GEICO and Marriot involved with Sanctuary City Advocacy Groups?

What can parents do to protect their children?

Robert urges all parents to go to their website and use the links provided to contact GEICO and Marriot directly. Click here  for more information.

Title: Enough with the Double Standards
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Maureen Ennor
with California Connection (www.California-Connection.net)

Part 1 of 2

Maureen Ennor is the co-host of the radio show California Connection, where she and Bob Lang, her partner in crime, talk about all things California, including politics. Maureen’s motto is “Information is power, and fun, too!” But what happens when that information, in the form of laws, is ignored? The power gets too much to handle – and that is definitely NOT fun!

FACT: There are over 200 Sanctuary Cities across the United States.

One of those laws which needs strict governing and more control is regarding Sanctuary Cities. She knows first-hand the worry that officers wives experience: She is a Blue Wife herself, meaning her husband is a police officer. He works in one of the most dangerous Sanctuary Cities in the nation. She has received two of those dreaded phone calls in the two years they’ve been married to meet him in the hospital because he has been injured.

This is why Maureen is working closely with others to spread awareness and the truth about Sanctuary Cities. She says, “Too many people walk around with little or no information about Sanctuary Cities….Most people don’t even know that California is a Sanctuary State!” Even Presidential Candidate Bobby Jindal didn’t know when she questioned him!

The issue we’re discussing today is double standards with the law. If Kim Davis is jailed because she refused to sign marriage licenses for gay couples, why can’t police officers jail illegal aliens for breaking the law? There are thousands upon thousands of crime victims who must live with the consequences of illegal aliens’ actions for years. Maureen discusses the illegal MS13 gang members in California who commit violent crimes. The results of a specific crime and what the victim’s family is still facing will absolutely blow your mind!

Title: Part 2 of 2 - Enough with the Double Standards
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Maureen Ennor
with California Connection (www.California-Connection.net)

Why do illegal aliens get a free pass out of jail while Christian business owners receive the scarlet letter and lose their livelihood? Maureen reveals how the UCLA recently sent a letter to all the California officials, including police officers, threatening lawsuits if an illegal alien is jailed for being in the country illegally.

As a result, some of the Conservative Sheriffs have placed an ICE agent in their jails to ensure they will not get sued! This is actually giving ICE agents something to do, though, because the Obama administration sent out a mass letter across the nation in 2008 warning them that they were not to arrest illegal aliens simply for being in the country illegally! Before 2008, if an illegal alien committed of a crime, they were deported. Period. Listen in as Maureen gives a passionate explanation about what is happening now – and how much it’s costing us!

Maureen also points out how difficult it is to get an accurate crime statistic on illegals in the state of California. “It’s black, white, or other,” she says. “There is no Hispanic….The government doesn’t even want to face this problem.” This problem is spreading across the country and we need to stop it now.

Title: Is it Time to Sue Sanctuary Cities?
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Norman Shabel
with Norman Shabel (www.NormanShabel.com)

If a business messes up, they have to face the consequences, which often means hefty and lengthy lawsuits. But what about a city – an actual American city? 250 cities across the United States, including Houston, are referred to as “sanctuary cities”. Is it time the leaders of “sanctuary cities” be held accountable for their illegal activities and behavior?

Norman Shabel  is a regionally recognized lawyer with over 45 years of experience practicing law. Judge Andrew Napolitano calls Norman a "terrific trial lawyer. He once cleaned my clock before I went on the bench ..." Norman Shabel says this of “sanctuary cities”: “Not only are illegal aliens not picked up or turned over here [in sanctuary cities], they are given federal money!

Listen in as Normal Shabel discusses the law protecting “sanctuary cities”, why we can’t do anything about them, and what we should be doing to stop them! Click [here] to learn more about Norman and his resolve to protect America.

Title: Will Sanctuary Cities Ruin America?
Topic: Sanctuary Cities
Discussed by Luke Adler
with Author

It is my belief, as the host of The What’s UP Radio Program, that sanctuary cities absolutely do enable repeat criminal offenders to return to the US, even after multiple deportations. Many heinous crimes are committed by illegal aliens all across the US against law-abiding citizens, specifically in these sanctuary cities.

Luke Adler is a retired US Deputy Marshal and a former member of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in St. Louis. He specialized in the Balkans terrorist and organized crime groups and intelligence operations in other high risk communities. You name the crime, he’s probably dealt with it personally.

Luke explains how illegal aliens are coming into America from every border, not just from the south. They walk, ride in cars, come in boats, hop trains, and even take airplanes! How is this possible with security as advanced as it is? How are more illegals not caught?

Even more appalling are the number of multinational organized criminal gangs that are in nearly every major city across the nation. Sanctuary cities are actually breeding grounds for gangs and they are destroying the livelihood of honest, hard-working Americans. In Luke Alder’s opinion, sanctuary cities violate federal law and we must demand our elected officials take action immediately.

Luke Alder’s book, Chasing Bandits, can be found here.

Chasing Bandits chronicles the true stories of ten bandits on the run who thought they could escape capture. They were wrong. The information contained in Chasing Bandits is based on true events and the characters are real. However, some details, such as names and locations, have been blended, altered, or fabricated for security purposes.
