When I first read Andrea Lafferty’s press statement in response to Ohio Senator Rob Portman’s announcement that he is now in favor of gay marriage, I raised my eyebrows. I’m sure many others did the same. But the more I thought about it, the more sense it made.

Andrea Lafferty, with the Traditional Values Coalition, explains why she thinks there is a generation gap in regards to supporting gay marriage, in addition to the growing acceptance of abortion and support of socialism in this country.

Also, when it comes to moral issues, why are parents so afraid of telling their kids “I love you, but you’re wrong”? My mama sure let me know when I was being dumb growing up! She still does!
