Discussed by Ken Klukowski

Great review of how the U.S. Constitution is interpreted today.
What are the different schools of thought today? Church services were once held
in the Halls of Congress. Today, you can’t pray in Jesus’ name. What has
happened with original intent?
On the road to our progressive society, what changed? Listen in.

Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
Part 1 of 2
A federal appeals court recently sided with Wheaton College and Belmont Abbey
College in their challenge to the HHS mandate that health insurance covers
abortion-causing drugs, sterilizations, and birth control. What a tremendous
victory for the unborn! Ken Klukowski is a senior fellow with the Family
Research Council and is on faculty at Liberty University School of Law.

Title: Part 2 of 2
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
After assuring the American
people that Obamacare would not force employers to abandon their religious faith
concerning abortion and abortion-causing dugs, the HHS mandated both. Many
companies have already filed suit; some winning, some losing. Wheaton College
and Belmont Abbey College fought back and have won a small, but very important,
victory!

Title: NY City Mayor Bloomberg Decides Clergy and First Responders Not Welcome At Upcoming 9/11 Commemoration
Topic: Clergy and First Responders Not Welcome
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
New York City Mayor Bloomberg mandates that members of the clergy and first responders are not welcome to attend nor to take an active part in his cities 9/11 Commemoration Ceremonies.
First Responders and members of the clergy gave their lives to save and comfort the victims of the vicious attack on the morning of September 11.
All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men and women to do nothing. Will God fearing Americans rise up and say, “Enough is Enough”, on Election Day in November 2012?

Title: Does Obama’s Libyan War Violate the Constitution’s War Powers Clause, not the War Powers Act?
Topic: War Powers Clause in the US Constitution
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
President Obama’s
war in Libya is now illegal, so says author of "RESURGENT: How
Constitutional Conservatism Can Save America". Sunday, June 19,
marked 90 days since Obama began U.S. involvement in the conflict.
Ken shares how President Obama shopped his administration looking for legal
advice that ‘he’ agreed with. His top two lawyers – from the Justice Department
Office of Legal Counsel and the Defense Department’s general counsel – both
advised Obama that his Libyan actions are “hostilities” subject to the War
Powers Act. Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, agreed. Ken concludes, at
first you don’t find legal advice you like…just keep on asking others…..

Title: The Last Stop for Obamacare Before the US Supreme Court
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
Part 1 of 2
The U.S. 11th Court of Appeals recently heard arguments for and against
Obamacare. This most likely will be its last stop before reaching the US Supreme
Court. The Appeals Court heard arguments against the individual mandate – that
every American had to buy health insurance. The Court also heard arguments
against on whether the entire piece of legislation now called Obamacare should
be ruled invalid. More information can be found at www.FRC.org.

Title: Part 2 of 2
Topic: Obamacare
Discussed by Ken Klukowski
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
There are two main issues in this appeal. The first is the requirement that almost all Americans buy and maintain health insurance staring in 2014 – the ‘individual mandate’ – is an unprecedented claim of unlimited federal power. If government can command you to buy insurance, it can command you to do anything. Will the 11th Court of Appeals strike down the entire law? More information can be found at
www.FRC.org.
