war in Libya is now illegal, so says author of "RESURGENT: How
Constitutional Conservatism Can Save America". Sunday, June 19,
marked 90 days since Obama began U.S. involvement in the conflict.
Ken shares how President Obama shopped his administration looking for legal
advice that ‘he’ agreed with. His top two lawyers – from the Justice Department
Office of Legal Counsel and the Defense Department’s general counsel – both
advised Obama that his Libyan actions are “hostilities” subject to the War
Powers Act. Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, agreed. Ken concludes, at
first you don’t find legal advice you like…just keep on asking others…..
