Is Hydroxychloroquine being withheld by the FDA purely for political reasons?
FACT: The FDA regulates all approval and post-approval aspects of a drug product. But the FDA traditionally has not regulated the practice of medicine. Physicians, therefore, may prescribe an FDA-approved drug for indications that FDA has not reviewed for safety and effectiveness. Those uses, furthermore, are not addressed in the labeling information regarding, among other things, dosing, warnings about interactions with other drugs, and possible adverse events.

On May 1, 2020, the FDA issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EAU) for remdesivir to be used in seriously ill hospitalized patients. Remdesivir , which has zero prior FDA approval for COVID-19, has already cost the American taxpayers an astronomical amount of money and has shown modest benefits, at best.

Hint: not good.
What horrific side effects have patients with COVID-19 experienced after being

experienced one or more of the following negative side effects: multiple organ
dysfunction, septic shock, acute kidney injury, low blood pressure, and liver
damage.
In addition, nearly 20% of the patients using Remdesivir to treat
COVID-19 STILL died from “acute respiratory failure” – which is another
negative side effect of the drug being used to treat the actual illness!
Has HCQ had the same negative side effects? NOPE! In
fact, the CDC has even stated that HCQ is safe enough to be used for pregnant
women and nursing mothers.
