Topic: Birthright Citizenship
Discussed by Jon Feere
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

Is the 14th Amendment being inappropriately applied to children born to illegals, temporary immigrants and children born to foreign diplomats stationed in the U.S.?

John Feere explains the intended purpose and scope of the 14th Amendment, which was ratified after the Civil War. What should be done with this two-fold problem?

Title: More Graduates than Jobs
Topic: Lying-nomics
Discussed by Dr. Steve Camarota
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

The idea that we need to allow in more workers with science, technology, engineering, and math (“STEM”) background is an article of faith among American business and political elite. In a new report, Dr. Steven Camarota analyzes the latest government data and discovers what other researchers have found: The country has more than twice as many workers with STEM degrees as there are STEM jobs.

Listen in as Steven discusses this serious issue. Log on to www.CIS.org for more information.

Title: With the economy in disarray, will the abortion issue be pushed aside? Will the immigration issue be pushed aside?
Topic: Immigration
Discussed by John Wahala
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

With the heartbeat of the economy so slow, will the majority of voters even THINK about the immigration issue next November?

Having an influx of strong and willing workers, will that rebuild our economy and put America back to work by just having more workers?

From an education standpoint, what percent of the classroom is made up of children of immigrants, legal and illegal? Will it increase?

Title: Evidence shows Obama Effort to Circumvent Congress: WHITE HOUSE’S BACKDOOR AMNESTY?
Topic: Immigration
Discussed by Janice Kephart
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

Have many decisions made by the Obama administration actually placed U.S. citizens in the “back of the bus”; or more accurately, placed U.S. citizens behind illegals as second class citizens?

Are leaked memos from within the Department of Homeland Security showing that the Obama Administration is pursuing a path for Amnesty designed for many illegals currently in America?

What are some specific examples within some leaked memos that clearly reveal Obama’s attempt to deceive America into accepting unprecedented executive branch immigration law rewrites?

Is this yet another example of Obama’s contempt for our constitutional separation of powers through his use of illegal executive orders?

Title: Feds Put Environment Above Security Giving Border Smugglers “Green Light”
Topic: Environment and Illegals Over Security
Discussed by Janice Kephart
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

Department of the Interior places restrictions on Border Patrol agents within the Sonoran Desert.

As a result, illegal aliens - Coyotes and Mules - have a virtual free pass in our country.

Pinal and Maricopa Counties in Arizona have suffered the most from illegal activity. Now, thanks to enviro-green-smuggling-loving bureaucrats have hand-cuffed law enforcement in this area.

Title: Where did all the new employees come from that are taking all the new jobs being created in the State of Texas?
Topic: Perry'nomics
Discussed by Dr. Steve Camarota
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

Part 1 of 2

A new report shows that 81% of job growth in Texas since 2007 went to non-U.S. citizens. How many were illegals vs. legal immigrants?

Of newly arrived immigrants who took a job in Texas, 93 percent were not U.S. citizens. Thus, government data shows that more than three-fourths of job growth in Texas went to newly arrived NON-CITIZENS (LEGAL AND ILLEGAL).

Most Texas job growth went to immigrants and 40% were illegals. Very few of the new jobs went to U.S. born workers…what’s wrong with this picture? Please send us your comments here.

Title: Part 2 of 2
Topic: Perry'nomics
Discussed by Dr. Steve Camarota
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

Steve Camarota continues by stating a very disturbing fact:

The native born population accounted for over 69% of the growth in potential works so the native born should have secured the majority of the new jobs. But this did NOT happen. Remember: 81% of the new jobs created in Texas since 2007 went to NON-U.S. CITIZENS.

Is this a good thing for Governor Perry or does it show a bad trend which most Americans will view negatively? Send us your comments here.

Title: Is There A Need For More Immigrant Workers?
Topic: Immigration
Discussed by Dr. Steve Camarota
with Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org)

The standard unemployment rate for U.S.-born workers who have not completed high school stands at 22%.

28.7 million U.S.-born and naturalized citizens were not working in the 1st Quarter.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Dr. Camarota further discusses how few teenagers and college students found summer employment this year. What should our elected officials be doing about the number of legal and illegal immigrants taking jobs away from American citizens? How much longer can we survive?
