Title: Politicians play "Shell Game" with our tax dollars
Topic: Taxes and Government Spending
Discussed by Tom Finnigan
with Citizens Against Government Waste (www.cagw.org)
Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) requested $223 Million for a bridge so that the 50 residents on an island would be able to travel more easily to the mainland. This was only part of the $286.4 Billion bill that was authorized in August. Tom Finnigan, the Communications Director with Citizens Against Government Waste, exlpains why this and many of the other 6,500 projects included in the bill are so outrageous and how our Elected Officials get away with it.
