“Take this job and love it” is not the mantra of workers in America. In fact, a recent survey revealed that 70% of America’s workers are so dissatisfied with their jobs that they are looking over their shoulder for a new one.

Dr. James Thrasher is the Senior Advisor to the Vice President for Student Recruitment and the Coordinator of the Institute of Faith and Freedom at Grove City College. Today, Dr. Thrasher discusses this recent survey and offers some advice to those who wish they had a more satisfying career.

Why are so many people dissatisfied with their career? What were the major complaints?

Do many people who question their worthiness end up sick, depressed, divorced, and/or abusing substances? Dr. Thrasher reminds us of the words in Genesis 1 and Ecclesiastes.
