Tuberculosis (TB) has been virtually eradicated from the United States with our aggressive public health screening and treatment programs for the last 50 years. However, most Americans are not aware of their rapidly increasing risk of being exposed to someone with TB because of the hundreds of thousands of refugees now being dispersed across the US.

Is the US government knowingly and willingly allowing refugees into our country who have extreme drug-resistant forms of TB? FACT: TB is the leading cause of infectious disease death in the world, even more so than HIV/AIDS.

How expensive is treatment per patient? NOTE: There is drug-resistant and extreme drug-resistant forms of TB. The cost to treat those is outrageous.
