Part 1 of 2
“We can recover as a nation from a horrible President, but we cannot recover from the people who lack information and historical understanding who elect Presidents like Obama – twice!”
declares Representative Riddle. The sad reality is that there are more people not registered to vote than those that are registered. But, what is more shocking, is half of the Christians who are registered to vote simply don’t bother to ever vote! People, come on! It’s time to get with the program!
Debbie Riddle represents District 150 in the unincorporated area of Harris County. Her district is one of the largest in the state, yet does not have a city council or mayor; she is the sole representative on state issues for her constituents. Listen in as shares some personal stories about the calls her office receives daily, talks gun control vs. the Second Amendment, and what she plans to do if reelected.
Tune in to the next segment with Debbie as she discusses the importance of supporting candidates with your time and talent.

There are numerous ways that average citizens can show their support
of their chosen candidate/elected official:
1. Yard signs – If allowed in your subdivision or apartment
complex, display a yard sign so your neighbors can see who you believe is the
best choice for office.
2. Bumper Stickers – Place a bumper sticker on your car. This
is FREE advertising for a candidate to thousands of people, especially if you
have a long commute to work or school every day.
3. Volunteer – Offer a few hours of your time each week to
answer phones or stuff envelopes at the district office. This will save a
candidate thousands of dollars.
4. Food – Yes, FOOD! If you have the gift of cooking, bring
snacks or dinner to volunteers once a week.
5. Block Walk – Candidates truly appreciate volunteers who are
willing to walk door-to-door, talking with their neighbors about the issues or
simply placing a door-hangar on the front door.
