Eighteen states are suing the federal government in federal court in Texas
over President Obama's amnesty plan. More could be added to the lawsuit. Some
people say “So what?” Here’s why it matters…
First, the US Supreme Court requires individual states to pay for all education
costs for children in the US illegally. Second, the US Supreme Court obligates
each individual state to pay for all health care costs for everyone in the US
illegally. Third, the US Supreme Court has prohibited individual states from
building their own fence to deter illegal immigrants from coming into the US.
Obama himself has even stated, on record, that he doesn’t have the power to
grant blanket amnesty to millions of illegals! Listen in as Hans von Spakovsky
explains the situation we are in and why these eighteen states are suing the
federal government.
