Title: The Rights of Many Ignored for the Rights of a Few
Topic: Gay Rights
Discussed by Peter Sprigg

Many of you may have heard about a recent incident at a Planet Fitness involving a woman and a “transgender man”. If not, short recap: Yvette Cormier discovered a man changing in the woman’s locker room. She complained to management, who informed her that the man identified as a woman and, therefore, was allowed to be in the woman’s locker room – naked. Yvette complained to the corporate office, who told her the same thing. As a result of her “discrimination”, her membership to the Planet Fitness was revoked.

Peter Sprigg is a Senior Fellow for Policy Studies at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., where his research and writing have addressed issues of marriage and family, human sexuality, the arts and entertainment, and religion in public life. Peter explains the situation further and the “no judgment policy” Planet Fitness exploited in order to pander to the transgender man.

All this for only 0.3% of the American population. 0.3%.

According to the company's PR director, "Planet Fitness is committed to creating a non-intimidating, welcoming environment for our members. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity." Peter discusses this line of reasoning. Why is it so wrong? What is next for our country if we continue with this line of perversion and bowing to a few, overlooking the needs of many?

Peter says this of acceptance of immoral practices: “The ideal for the homosexual movement is that no one will ever say it is morally wrong to have sex with someone of the same sex or to pretend to be the opposite of your biological sex.” This is what our teens and college kids are taught. This is why we have “transgender” bathrooms, gym locker rooms, and changing rooms in department stores. This is why Christians must stand up now – before it is too late.

Topic: Gay Rights
Discussed by Peter Sprigg

Currently, men who are sexually active with other men are barred from donating blood because they are at a higher risk of contracting HIV/AIDS.
