How parents start NOW to follow Jesus as a family even if their kids are teenagers? Dr. Rienow discusses the Scripture that changed his perspective: Deuteronomy 6:5.

Is attending church/worship together as a family important?

Do too many parents allow the kids minister/youth pastor/Christian school to be the sole source of spiritual training for their kids/teens?

Title: Are many parents who raised their children in Church grieving today? If so, why?
Topic: When They Turn Away
Discussed by Rob Rienow
with Visionary Family (www.VisionaryFam.com)

Part 1 of 4

Are many parents who raise their kids in church, taught bible study etc, are many of these parents, as their kids have gone off to college and moved on, grieving today?  If so, why? What are the statistics of the kids that have grown in up Christian homes of this last generation who have left the faith?

Is there not enough weeping at the altar for that wayward son or daughter?  What is the lie that the world tells parents once their children have left the home?  What is the shortest distance between the wayward child’s heart and Christ?

In your book, When They Turn Away, do you lay out some simple steps that a parent or a grandparent can do to begin to pray and begin to witness to lead that wayward child to alter and to the feet of Jesus Christ? What are some Biblical principles that never expire?

Are 2/3 or our empty nester parents grieving because at least one of their adult children have left the faith?

For those with kids still at home, what went wrong with our CHURCHES if 75% of our kids walk from the church in our twenties? OR is it a FAMILY issue? What is one thing families must have?
