QUESTIONS / ISSUES DISCUSSED:

BELIEVERS LIVE WITH JESUS AS THE HERO OF THEIR LIFE

Is it ok to have a “hero”?

Who are you worshipping?

What is our responsible toward our family, friends, and community? Daniel gently urges us to help our church reach the lost at every opportunity. After all, it’s not our pastor’s job to do that! He is there to shepherd and guide us to do what God has called us to do.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Jesus was never meant to be an accessory to our lives. He is meant to be the Lord of it.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, or if you have a prayer request, text: 281.688.2630 and follow the text prompts.

QUESTIONS / ISSUES DISCUSSED:

BELIEVERS ARE BUILT UP BY THE WORD OF GOD

WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE FOR NOT READING THE BIBLE ON A REGULAR, DAILY BASIS?

Is it easy to be tempted to come to church on Sunday and then live like the world Monday thru Saturday? Daniel has a great illustration to explain why this is not good for our walk with Christ.

How often should we read the Bible? Is there a right or wrong way to do this?

How can the Word of God help us keep our calm in tough situations? Daniel tells a personal story of a time he really didn’t feel like acting like Jesus…

Is the Word of God the best defense against the world?

QUESTIONS / ISSUES DISCUSSED:

BELIEVERS ARE BUILDERS

Is Paul talking about physical strength or spiritual strength?

What was Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”?

Is God’s grace really sufficient for us? Do we really gain power and strength through God and the Holy Spirit? Daniel offers some encouragement to those who are worn down and feel defeated. Remember: We are weak, but He is strong!

Are we commanded to also build up others? How can we do that?

Is it important to ask for help when we need it? Daniel shares a funny story about the time he put together an Ikea baby changing table/dresser for his daughter.

Can we gain blessings and grow our own faith when we invest in building up others?

BELIEVERS ARE BUILT UP BY THE WORD OF GOD

Why is it so vital to our faith that we study the Bible – really, really study the Bible and not just “read” it? Daniel says: “The Word of God is meant to grant us both endurance and encouragement for us to navigate this life.”

Is it easy to be tempted to come to church on Sunday and then live like the world Monday thru Saturday?

QUESTIONS / ISSUES DISCUSSED:

Did Daniel ever “hate” God? (Psalm 139) Daniel shares about a student pastor who cared for him and invested time in his life.

What did Daniel’s student pastor say to him that really showed God’s love and grace to him and that his life really did have a purpose? (Romans 10)

What is the book of Romans all about? Why did Paul write this letter? Who was he addressing and why? Daniel gives a brief overview and then reads from Romans 15.

How are believers builders? Is Paul talking about physical strength or spiritual strength? Tune in tomorrow as Daniel Ritchie preaches more about Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” and why he pleaded with God to remove it from his life.

Daniel Ritchie begins his sermon explaining why he doesn’t have arms and how he performs everyday tasks. There are some things, though, that he cannot do – like eat inside the restaurant at Chik-fil-A – with his FEET!

Does Daniel view himself as a hero or some awesome guy? He simply tells people: “JESUS is my hero. Period.”

Why should we make fatherhood matter?

Who inspired Daniel to be all he can be?

How did Daniel’s parents react when he was born clinically dead and without arms?

What struggles has Daniel experienced throughout his life?

Did Daniel ever “hate” God? Tune in tomorrow to hear more of Daniel’s amazing story and how God tugged his hearts stings and brought him to salvation.
