Title: Is Abortion an Essential Service?
Topic: Abortions Are Not Essential
Discussed by Dr. Haywood Robinson
with Special Guest
President Trump has called for all non-essential businesses to close their doors during the Coronavirus quarantine. Even services that do constitute essential health care for women, including routine Pap smears, mammograms, and pelvic exams, are being postponed in order to reduce everyone’s risk of exposure to the Coronavirus. Abortion providers, especially
Planned Parenthood, have argued that their “services” are essential. But, are they?
Former abortionist Dr. Haywood Robinson has some insight for us today. Dr. Robinson is a family physician practicing in Bryan-College Station. He and his wife of 38 years have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
Is an abortion essential healthcare? Dr. Robinson reminds us of the Hippocratic Oath…
If an elective abortion were an “essential component” of women’s health care, wouldn’t it be a part of every obstetric and gynecologic practice?
Complications can often arise after an abortion. Will some women put their own lives at risk by not seeking treatment in an ER out of fear of contacting the Coronavirus?
Should the abortion industry be permitted to continue with business as usual? Dr. Robinson says this of the abortion industry:
“They only care about one thing: money.” That pretty much sums it up.
