Yesterday, Dan Linebaugh discussed the Seven Costly Mistakes that
many people make after an auto accident. Today, he explains the
mistakes people make following an accident with an 18-wheeler or commercial
vehicle.
But, but, but…Christians aren’t supposed to sue people! No, no, no. If someone
you love is hurt or killed, you deserve just compensation. Dan is a Christian
and points out that Paul and Moses wrote about this issue! He says, “There
are passages in scripture that say ‘do not deny justice to the poor or to the
widows’. The law is right and just when used properly.” You don’t just want
“any” lawyer handling your case, though; you want a specialist. And
that’s where Dan Linebaugh and others like him come in.
Listen in as Dan Linebaugh discusses the do’s and don’ts when involved in any
type of accident, especially with a large, company vehicle like an 18-wheeler.
One very important thing to remember is to insist police do an alcohol and drug
screening at the scene of the accident. He also stresses not to give a statement
to the other insurance company. Always seek legal advice. Try not to move your
vehicles until the police arrive on the scene.

Our justice system does not work if the truth is not spoken.
Not knowing how the system works can really hurt you! Dan Linebaugh has seen
just about every corner of the courthouse. He’s been an insurance adjuster, a
defense attorney for insurance companies, and a trial lawyer going after them!
When it comes to your rights after a car accident, Dan Linebaugh discusses how
not all lawyers are created the same. Yes, they all passed the bar exam, but
some really are just better than others.
Today, Dan is here to discuss “Seven Costly Mistakes after a Car Accident”.
Dan says the first mistake most people make is not getting eye witnesses to stay
at the scene. Also, take pictures before you move your vehicles out of the
way!!! This one is a MUST!
What about an ambulance ride? You might feel silly going to the ER if nothing is
broken, but Dan recommends getting checked out if you’re shaken up. “You
will receive immediate attention,” he says. “Plus, the police report
might understate the extent of your injuries which could hurt your case.”
And make sure you follow up with your doctor or a specialist!
As Christians, we want to be honest and upfront about our feelings. Dan says
that might not be a wise decision when talking with a police officer or
insurance adjuster right after an accident. Why would he tell you to lie? Well,
he doesn’t want you to lie, but you are better off waiting until your lawyer can
help you. Listen in as he explains.
Lastly, Dan discusses why it is so important to get the police involved. You can

Title: Is it Wrong for Christian to Sue Others?
Topic: Seventh Amendment
Discussed by Dan Linebaugh
with Dan Linebaugh (www.Time4Justice.com)
Part 1 of 2
Most people think
the worst of lawyers – until they need one, then their tune changes like a duck
chasing a fish. Houston area attorney Dan Linebaugh has seen it all – the good,
the bad, and the ugly. He has been called “greedy” by other Christians. Why?
Simply because he is personal injury trial lawyer. But, he is a Christian first.
Dan shares how the Bible gives reference to this topic several times. How would
Jesus handle a lawsuit? Would he just “turn the other cheek”? Is the situation
different when someone is hurt or killed, rather than when property is damaged?
Dan Linebaugh is the author of “9 Costly Mistakes that People Make Following an
18-Wheeler Crash” and “7 Costly Mistakes that can Ruin Your Auto Accident Case”.

Title: Part 2 of 2 - Is it Wrong for Christian to Sue Others?
Topic: Seventh Amendment
Discussed by Dan Linebaugh
with Dan Linebaugh (www.Time4Justice.com)
What if Obama said, “I’m doing
away with trial by jury in all criminal procedures in America”? Dan Linebaugh
believes there would be riots in the street, despite many people’s negative
opinion of trial lawyers. He says, “Americans love the Constitution. The
want to preserve the Constitution. They don’t want to see it decimated.”
Our Founding Fathers knew what they were doing when they added the 6th and 7th
Amendments to the Bill of Rights. King George was on a rampage and the Founding
Fathers realized he needed to be stopped. Is Obama turning into another King
George? Will Congress allow him full control of the courts?
The Constitution is what defines us as a country. But, right now, the situation
is getting out of hand. The FDA, big corporations, and others are literally
getting away with murder because they have been shielded by new laws giving them
immunity for any and all damages.
Does this country even still abide by the “Checks and Balances” promise? Listen
in as Dan discusses the “what ifs”.
