Part 1 of 2

Jonathon was in the middle of war-ridden Iraq when he personally witnessed and experienced the love and kindness of complete strangers – strangers who hated him and hated America.

Now, years later, Jonathon and his family are doing their part to help strangers in his high-crime neighborhood in North Carolina. Listen in as the author of “Strangers at my Door” explains why.

When we welcome people into our homes, they often help us more than we help them. You never know what your neighbors might be struggling with. All it takes is one encounter to change someone’s life.

Do not just feel convicted and tell yourself “I should do something” – go out and help someone today! Listen in as Jonathon gives you some ideas.

Title: Eye for an Eye? No! After the murderous acts, Israelis give life!
Topic: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Discussed by I.Q. al-Rassooli
with www.inthenameofallah.org

After the massacre, Israelis help bring new life into this world. IDF forces and local paramedics observed a speeding vehicle heading towards the mourners of the family brutally murdered last week in Israel. Instead of opening fire on a vehicle that could have been loaded with bombs, inside was a young Arab woman in child birth. Her baby had the umbilical cord wrapped around its little neck. The Arab mother named her daughter Jude. What an example of ‘practicing peace, not hate’! More information can be found at www.inthenameofallah.org
