Title: They May Call It a Fee – But It Is Still a Tax
Topic: Houston’s Rain Tax
Discussed by Don Sumners
with Candidate for Office

The “Rain Tax” is a fee on land owners to drain the rain that falls on their lot, land, building… The levy rate, maximum fee and projects are UNKNOWN and UNLIMITED. This is another form of politicians saying, “Trust Me”. Every land owner within the city limits will have to pay. Churches, schools, non-profits, SENIORS, VETERANS…everyone…NO EXCLUSIONS…NO EXCEPTIONS.
