Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu’s invitation by House Speaker John Boehner to address
Congress on March 3rd has created a political storm, both in Washington and in
Jerusalem. Why is Netanyahu insisting on coming to the US so close
to the March 17th Israeli elections?
David Rubin is the former Mayor of Shiloh Israel. After he and his son survived
a terrorist attack, David established the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. David
believes that Netanyahu should absolutely keep his scheduled visit on March 3rd
before Congress to discuss the Iranian nuclear threat and Islamic radicalism.
David says the real issue boils down to the negotiations between Iran and
America that supposedly will place Iran’s manufacturing of nuclear weapons on
hold. The deadline for negotiations in March 24. Ding ding ding! Now we see the
real problem!
Time is of the essence. Congress must debate the issue sooner rather than later.
Israel cannot take the chance that Iran will continue developing weapons of mass
destruction. America cannot afford to sit and watch from the sidelines because
we will be next.
