Title: Feds Threaten to Pull Money from North Carolina
Topic: Federal vs. State Powers
Discussed by Dr. Chris Gacek
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)

Is it time for the Republic of Texas and the Republic of North Carolina?

Chris Gacek, with The Family Research Council, wants everyone to understand just how important North Carolina’s stance against men in women’s bathroom is. First, a little back story: the leaders in Charlotte, NC, decided to allow transgenders the use of women’s facilities. The Legislators, however, said “nope, not gonna happen” so they stopped it.

Now, the Federal Government is claiming that NC is violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964, threatening to withhold education funds if they don’t comply. The Feds are really overreaching their boundaries on this one, people. It’s nothing more than a bullying tactic. Chris says, “Even if you are to buy into the gender identity concept, that doesn’t trump privacy rights.” He goes on to offer a scenario which women would absolutely be up in arms against, yet many completely support and encourage this type of law! Listen in.

This issue is a perfect example of the importance of elections, especially the President of the United States. The Supreme Court Justices have already made too many horrible decisions in recent years. We cannot allow this trend to happen.
