Professor Macintosh is an expert in Hebrew and the Old Testament. He is a member of the Cambridge Panel of the British and Foreign Bible Society’s Translation Project and he was one of three scholars charged with the revision of the New English Bible in 1970, which then became the Revised English Bible in 1989.

Professor Macintosh and his wife, Mary, have looked after nearly 100 foster children, and they have three “homemade” children, along with seven grandchildren.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

When King James was translated, did the translators use the Miles Coverdale translation?

Which is a better, more accurate translation: Greek or Hebrew? Or, is this a myth?

Listen as Dr. Macintosh tells a story how the Greeks would get elephants drunk to send them into battle!

When Dr. Macintosh translated the Psalms into modern English, which verse stood out the most? This is interesting stuff! You don’t want to miss it!!

What “life wisdom” does Dr. Macintosh offer?
