Title: Snub Grubhub
Topic: Snub Grubhub
Discussed by Dr. Chris Gacek
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)
NOTE: Please do not construe any information discussed in this segment
as legal advice. If you have any questions, please contact the Family
Research Council.
There is a clear, simple action item taught in Anger Management classes across
America: When angry, it is okay to write a note, a memo, or a letter. BUT DO NOT
send it, post it, or mail it. Wait a day or two, then reassess the situation.
Dr. Chris Gacek, with the Family Research Council, will be discussing
Grubhub CEO Matt Maloney who sent out an email to all employees, criticizing any
who may have voted for Donald Trump. In fact, Maloney suggested any Trump voters
resign.
Questions/Issues Discussed:
What are the consumers and investors for Grubhub saying about the CEO?
When places like Grubhub draw a line in the cultural sand, is it time to take
our business elsewhere?
Should this be a wake-up call to other businesses that we are tired being
bullied?
Can employers, in general, fire employees for their political and/or religious
views which are expressed off-the-clock, away from work? Is it happening anyway?
Note: These are actually two separate categories. Listen in as
Chris Gacek explains.
Why are too many left-leaning, progressives intolerant of Conservative,
Christian views and lifestyles?
What should we, as Christians, do to protect ourselves and others from this form
of discrimination?
