Shirley Temple had a God-given talent and her wholesome goodness won America over from the start. When her “cuteness” dissolved, however, so did her appeal.

Many do not know that Shirley Temple was a staunch Republican and had a passion for politics. Or, maybe they do know this, and choose to ignore it – i.e. the liberal media chose to ignore it. There were a few blips on Twitter and Facebook about her passing, but not much else.

More time was spent discussing Kim Kardashian’s latest outfit than the passing of one of Hollywood’s most famous young actresses of all time.
