Frank Bennett is a long-time friend of our family. My daughters grew up with Frank leading the youth music. He was also the music director at Graceview Baptist in Tomball.

Now, Frank, his wife Suzanne, their 3 biological and 3 adopted children have launched a new church in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The focus of Lake Point is to allow families who are traveling with their kids’ sports teams the opportunity to still have a place to worship outside of their home town.

Some more good friends have joined Frank and Suzanne Bennett on their journey: Danny and Lizanne Crocker. They are wonderful, Christian people with 3 teenage children. They have been through a lot this year, including a terrifying car accident which left their youngest son hospitalized for many weeks.

But the Bennett’s and the Crocker’s aren’t the only people involved with Lake Point! Take a listen to find out why I have such an interest in Lake Point!

The Lake Point Sporting Community is going to be HUGE! There will be over 17 sports hosted on-site, 16 major league baseball fields, 14 soccer/lacrosse fields, 16 pitch softball and junior baseball fields, a 16 acre water park, a Miracle League field, and a 114,000 square foot indoor facility for gymnastics, wrestling, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and sports performance training. Whew! Tired and sore yet?

The developers WANT a church in the center of all this sports activity to minister to the traveling families. And Frank Bennett is going to make that happen!
