Without debate, Congress slipped in a "45-page Rider" into the Defense Appropriations Bill to shield all drug companies from liability in lawsuits. I do not trust them - Congress nor the drug makers! Many are calling Sen. Hutchison, 202.224.3121, and asking her how much is her drug stock worth and if she would commit to take any shot first, along with her husband and two adopted children.

Conference committee members set to vote on "Secret Amendment" to shield drug manufactures from liability. Many of our Senators own stock in drug companies. Senator Hutchison, at the end of 2004, owned up to $500,000 of stock in drug companies and is on the conference committee. Will she vote to protect her financial interests or to protect Texans?
