Questions/Issues Discussed:
Was debate over barring churches with women pastors from remaining within the SBC the most contentious issue?
Why are many Messengers to the SBAC upset and disappointed with the leadership?
Why did the amendment fail? Caitlyn believes that the fear of new lawsuits persuaded just enough Messengers to vote against the amendment.
Caitlyn personally does not believe that women should hold the title “pastor” per her Biblical beliefs. How would she approach the debate over this issue if given the opportunity?
Is more education needed on this issue in order to curb lawsuits and false statements about discrimination?
Are many Messengers tired of debating this issue year after year? Caitlyn offers her opinion as a millennial.
