The wind blows for ever in many parts of Texas. Bee Moorhead, the Executive Director of Texas Impact explains how for many years Texas has relied on severence taxes from the production of oil and gas to fund government. Now with production declining, what are some other ways to generate tax revenue. Why not harness the wind using wind turbines to produce electricity? It is less expensive than using other fuels, it is more environment friendly and wind is FREE!
